There are numerous ways to earn coins in Hidden Chronicles.
Firstly, and most obviously, you get coins from completing scenes, with more money being paid out for each depending on the score you get.
There are also various quests to complete, often giving you XP, coins and items (which you can then sell) in return for your success.
Keep an eye on the game's social feeds, as this provides you with quick access to items and gold. Another social aspect is visiting your neighbors. Every time you go, you'll be given coins and energy in return. Some of your neighbors might leave you gifts too, earning your 50 coins - similarly, you earn 50 coins for leaving packages in return.
The easiest (but least sensible) way to get coins is to buy them using real money. Sometimes you can get them cheaper than usual, but it's still not the best idea unless you're loaded!
If you are encountering glitches when trying to place cars (I.e. The game isn't letting you put it where you want to), the easy solution is to close the window and start again - this issue is caused by a bug in the game.
If you are finding that your land is getting overcrowded with trees, you can click on one to sell it. However, this will often result in losing property points.
Hover over the tree to see if you will lose points from selling it. You can also move the trees around to create space without losing points.
A good idea is to sell any trees you can without losing property points, and move all the others to a certain spot so you can keep everything well organized.
Matching the thread, needle and jacket in the Seamstress Room is quite a tricky challenge.
You need to ensure the eye of a needle is resting on the end of the thread. Then, click on the arm of the coat (not the hole) and it should complete.
If you are having trouble picking up your bonuses, for example getting an error message such as 'this reward was incredibly popular, so I'm afraid it's no longer available,' it means the maximum number of people have used up the bonus.
Each bonus has a certain number who can make use of it, which means that it pays to have a small number of active friends rather than a massive network. If each person has 1,000 friends then their bonuses won't last very long!
Although it may seem possible to rename your manor (from Ramsey's Manor) to something else because when you visit friends it shows their name instead of Ramsey, there is in fact no way to do this. When you are at your home it will always say Ramsey's Manor, but if a friend visits you, your name will be there instead.
