It is essential that you always ensure that you have upgraded your skills to the maximum possible level in order for your character to deal more damage. Upgrading your skills will cost Gold and Skill EXP, so you need to make sure you have plenty left whenever you level up.

Skill EXP is acquired from fighting in dungeons and completing quests. For every level you increase, the effect of the skill will be improved. Every level you purchase will increase your overall CP (Combat Power).
