Dying Light 2 Stay Human Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you need to pay attention to Aiden's Immunity and what you should spend your Skill points on first. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a Beginners Guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

  • Avoid the Streets

Regardless of the time of day, the streets in Dying Light 2 Stay Human are teeming with the undead looking to attack you, and you will find that you can be easily cornered when they start appearing from all directions.

Make sure you avoid the streets whenever possible and stick to the rooftops where you can use your parkour skills to escape pursuers.

  • Always Search for Resources

Crafting and upgrading is important in Dying Light 2 Stay Human, as having the requisite resources on you is crucial. It is therefore essential as you progress through the game that you continuously search your environment and thoroughly scavenge every room you enter for useful resources.

Check out our Military Tech Guide to find out how you get Military Tech from the Airdrops around the map in both Old Villedor and the Central Loop.

  • Use your Survivor Sense

Survivor Sense is your sonar-like ability to determine enemy locations and to detect lootable items in your proximity.

Make good and frequent use of Survivor Sense during stealth, combat, and exploration. This ability is particularly useful when scavenging, as it allows you to easily find crafting materials.

  • Prioritize Inhibitors

The most useful item you can find in Dying Light 2 Stay Human is Inhibitors, which are collectibles that can be found that grant you the ability to upgrade either Aiden's Health, or Stamina when you obtain three of them.

Prioritize finding Inhibitors over weapons, gear, or crafting resources, so you can improve Aiden's abilities and also his immunity as much as possible.

  • Weapon Durability

In the post-apocalyptic world of Dying Light 2 Stay human the weapons that you can weild have a durability meter which you must always keep an eye on to see how much durability the weapon has left.

Not all weapons have mod slots which can be used to gain additional durability and those that can be modded can only be done so a maximum of two times. This means the best strategy regarding weapons is to use your less powerful ones when facing low level enemies to save the durability of the weapons you are fond of.

Check out our How to Repair Weapons guide to find out how you can maintain a particular powerful or rare weapon you want to keep.

  • Pay Attention to Aiden's Immunity

Immunity is a mechanic in Dying Light 2 Stay Human where Aiden, who is infected, will turn and die if he stays in the dark for too long.

This means whenever you are in the dark it is important that you keep an eye on the timer that begins counting down as soon as you leave the light. It is essential that you always have immunity boosting items on you during nighttime exploration and traversing interior environments where there is no light.

  • Spending Skill Points

It is recommended that you first spend your Skill points on basic skills such as sliding, wall running, and dashing as you will quickly find out that these are a necessity in order to survive when being pursued by the undead.

These abilities may not appear to be worth the Skill points needed to unlock them, but they are things you need to add to your arsenal as quickly as possible.

  • Kick Enemies

Don't forget that Aiden has the ability to kick which can be very useful in certain situations. These include kicking an enemy into someone behind them, kicking an enemy off a roof, and kicking enemies away to give yourself some room when you are being cornered.
