The players you need to avoid regardless of their position are those that keep on misfiring as they lose you possesson of the ball.

Two effective strategies that can rip apart an opposing teams defense are through balls and crosses. Through balls are where a player passes the ball into open space for his teammate to run into it without slowing down. Crosses where the ball comes in from either of the wings into the box will give the opponents defenders additional problems to worry about in the form of headers and home goals. The most important factor to consider when trying to perform either of these two strategies is timing.

When you find yourself one on one with your opponents goalkeeper who has come of his goal line to advance towards you you can easily lob him to score a goal by continuously tapping the 'C' button. Even if the goal keeper acts quick enough to punch away your shot you are more than likely to going to get a corner kick from it.
