When you get a dragon diligence, and make someone a dragon, the scroll will disappear.
You might already know this, but if you don't well here tis. (I made someone a dragon and he got to level 8, so I wanted to switch someone else to the dragon, but I couldnt find the scroll...)
You can get more than one tho.
One in the slimeopolis, one in the best dressed contest, andone in mortamors castle. Course if you get lizzy then you don't REALLY need them. But still.
Once you have completed the game go to alltrades, go downstairs and into the room with the lanterns once you have completed enough vocations and therefore lit enough lanterns you will hear a voice and a door will open at the top of the room, taking you through caves to Reapers peak (iddentical to Weavers peak). New things are in the shop and talk to everyone especially the person in the mayors house
It says that in order to have someone be a hero vocation he/she has to master 4(advanced) vocations. However, your main character only has to level up in one of the 4. I prefer to do him gladiator, but I suppose since the hero are all spells it would be nice to do him in sage.
Later in the game especially in the last dungeon, make sure you are at full health after every battle. Many monsters use attacks that critical hit or do huge amounts of damage. So even if you are missing just one health a critical hit could be deadly. There are many times where I had one health missing and some damn monster kills me.
Later in the game a sage is a good vocation to use, specially for the last boss. It has good attacks and mp and stuff, but the best thing is as your vocational level goes up the less mp spells take. That is very nice when you are in the last dungeon or at least close to it.
This may be obvious to people but it wasnt to me haha
As you gain vocation levels that give you heal, midheal, and so on, look at the amount of mp it takes and the health you have. Full heal takes 7mp while midheal takes 5mp. So, if you have alot of hp taken of use full heal (obviously). However, if you are in doubt, use full heal. And so on.
This really doesnt matter until later in the game where there are stronger monsters, and you are on a longer treck, where you would want to conserve your mp.
Ok first, I am at the point where I am about to battle mortmor.
A easy place to level up vocations is under water. It doesnt matter which vocation it is. (cept for dragon and liquid metal slime. Im not sure about those because I havent used them yet.) but even for the advanced vocations like sage and gladiator they will level up. Its nice because you have a whole open space you can travel, the monsters are not very strong (if you are later in the game, which is why I said I was about to battle morty), you get good money, and they give fair exp. ( course exp doesnt really matter at a high level, but still every bit helps.)
Also, I am doing this so I can level up in as many vocations to help with morty. So you may not have to/ want to do this.
dragon DOES work. it goes REALLY fast too, even tho it says extremely slow.
