Earn Experience to Make your Vehicle Faster

Earn Experience to Make your Vehicle Faster

All the vehicles in Cruis'n Blast has its base statistics such as Speed, Acceleration, Boost, Weight, etc. In order to improve the speed and acceleration of your vehicle, you need to earn experience in tours, single races and time trials.

Drift Everywhere

Drift Everywhere

Always try and drift whenever you see a corner coming up or even on a wide straight of the track. It is essential that you do this in Cruis'n Blast as it temporarily increases your car's speed and grants you a boost at the end of the drift. If you become competent at drifting, you will be able to overtake the competition without having to use any boost you may have stored.

Save Boost for the Finish Line

It is crucial that you try to conserve a tank or two of boost for the last leg of the race, as the AI cars will always get faster when you approach the finishing line, and you will need something in reserve to accelerate past them and win the race. This will mean making sure you do not squander any boost unnecessarily during the early stages of a race.

Easy Way to Collect Keys

There are three keys hidden somewhere along each of the tracks in Cruis'n Blast. Trying to find these keys in Single races or during Tour mode is not easy to do as there are AI cars speeding past and knocking you out of the way. The easiest way to gather these keys is to play on Time Trial mode as you will be the only car on the track, and you can take as long as you like to find them. It is important to remember that you do not have a reverse, so if you miss a key you will have no option but to start the race again. Whenever you collect a key, it will be automatically saved, so you will not lose it if you don't finish the race.

How to Perform Tricks

How to Perform Tricks

Performing tricks in Cruis'n Blast will enable you to earn Style points, some of these tricks you can attempt are listed below.

Wheelie
A wheelie is performed by double tapping the A button on your controller at any point during the race. Doing a wheelie will let you drive on just the back two wheels rather than four in a burst of flame. You can wheelie to each side of your vehicle by implementing a directional input when you press the A button.

Backflip
This trick that will enable your vehicle to backflip over rival cars. To perform the backflip, you need to wheelie over another car, so you activate the backflip and land in front of them. This trick comes in useful when there are several cars blocking your way forward. If you boost before performing this trick, you will get more airtime.

Barrel Roll
If you get the timing correct and double-tap the A button on your controller once your vehicle has left the ground, you will be able to do a barrel roll by moving left and right with the double-A button presses.

How to Level Up Fast

Leveling up in Cruis'n Blast will not only increase your vehicles overall stats and give you an easier racing through all the cup tours in the Cruis'n Tour mode it will allow for further customization, this includes cosmetic things such neon underglows and trimmings for your rims, decals, body kits, and engine.

In Cruis'n Blast you earn Experience points by racing, the higher your position at the end of the race the more Experience you earn. The length of the track and the difficulty you select does not matter. Therefore, if you unlock the UFO Tour Cup and British Invasion which is the shortest track in Single Race mode and keep replaying it you should be able to consistently come in first place and earn the 1K Experience bonuses which will soon add up and level up your vehicle.

Countdown Boost

You can get a nice boost at the start of the race if you time the following countdown trick correctly. Rather than rev your engines like the other competitors at the starting line, wait for the word 'Set' to disappear from the screen and just before the word 'Go' appears.
