Crossing Void (also known as Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void) is a turn-based RPG mobile game for iOS and Android devices which is based on the light novels and characters of the Japanese publishing company Dengeki Bunko. This series of books includes amongst others Durarara, Sword Art Online, Accel World, Shakugan no Shana, Strike the Blood, Toradora!, the Toaru series, and The Devil is a Part-Timer. The game itself features over 50 iconic characters from these books which all come together when the worlds the protogonists live in gets ruined by an unexpected crisis. What is Awakening

In Crossing Void Awakening is one of the ways in which you can upgrade your characters. Awakening can give your character new skills, significantly improve their stats, and even give them a new appearance. Awakening requires the character's Exclusive Soul, and Common Souls so it is advised that you only awaken characters you intend to use in battles as these resources are very limited.

Using the Gacha System

You get new characters in Crossing Void using a Gacha system. Each of the characters you can acquire has a rarity from C to S. The only exception to this are limited time characters which are only available in A or S rank variations. Each day you play Crosssing Void you will get a free single pull on any normal banner that is available. Every non-S rank character you pull will increase your chances to get an S rank character. You will be able to summon normally on banners using Gacha Vouchers or Maigo which is the game's premium currency. Any duplicate characters of any rank can be dismantled to get fragments.

How to get a Guaranteed S Rank Character

You are guaranteed the featured S rank character on any Rate up Limited banner after 91 pulls on that banner. Completing the Golden Time Quests when you first start playinng Crossing Void will also guarantee you a free S rank character. What is the Star Rating

Every character in Crossing Void has a star rating from 1-6 stars, with the 6 star characters being the best. Increasing a characters star rating will give them more stat buffs and unlock the ability to upgrade skills. Characters will also unlock new passives with more stars. Bold Determination and Rsolute Will are both resources that are required to upgrade your characters star rating. What are Talents

Talents are additional stats that can be gained depending on the character's rarity which is divided into 4 categories indicated by different colours from S-Rank to C-Rank:

S-Rank (Gold) - 4 Talents

A-Rank (Purple) - 3 Talents

B-Rank (Blue) - 2 Talents

C-Rank (Green) - 1 Talent

Each character can get up to 4 talents based on their rank. You can alter the Talents a character has by re-rolling using Character fragments obtained from dismantling duplicates or by using an OG fragment. Each talent can be increased to S rank talents. S rank talents give the most stats.

What is Void Competition

Void Competition is basically a normal PVP mode in Crossing Void. This feature allows you to select and form a team using your own lineup and battle another player in real time.

What are Challenges

Challenges in Crossing Void is the side content and is worthwhile playing as it gives out rewards that you cannot get by clearing the story missions. There are different types of Challenges and they are patricularly useful for getting equipment for your characters.
