Explore Alone to get More XP

Although you can explore the Crossworlds with your friends and share any XP you earn across the party it will not be beneficial in the long run as Lea will be completing quests but earning a lesser amount of XP which can lead to her unable to beat monsters.

If you find this happening you should consider playing alone for a while when you enter a new zone in the CrossWorlds in order to give yourself the opportunity to get more XP for Lea. Remember, CrossCode will reduce your damage by up to 30% depending on the number of members in your party which is a significant loss. Also, the more XP Lea gians the more damage she is able to do. Once you have reached a level you are satisfied with you can re-invite your party members. Party members do not gain XP when not in use.

How to do Extended Jumps

In CrossCode you will find yourself jumping around a lot as you explore all the nooks and crannies hidden throughout the maps of the CrossWorlds. You will need to perform some complex jumps in order to solve most of the jump puzzles in the game. One technique you will want to know is how to do extended jumps.

Most of the time you will find that you can actually jump farther than you might think but if you find yourself in a situation where your landing spot seems a little too far out of reach you can use the following technique to help increase your leap.

To do an extended jump in CrossCode you need to hit the melee attack button on your controller after a normal jump. Once the attack begins, perform a dash, then quickly cancel the dash action by bringing up your shield. When you perform this move the length of your jump will be slightly extended and will enable you to reach areas you will not be able to with a singular jump alone. This is not an easy technique to master and may take some time before you are adept at performing it.

How to get Unlimited Dodge

Dodging is crucial in CrossCode as it is this ability that helps keep Lea alive during fights. The quick dodge action though only has three charges before a cool down is activated and you are forced to wait for the skill to replenish. There is however a way around this issue.

You can bypass the cool down on Lea's quick dodge action by quickly bringing your shield up after the third dodge. When you do this the split second of guard time resets the dodge counter giving Lea three more quick dodges. Take advantage of this trick during a battle to override the quick dodge cooldown and give Lea unlimited dodge ability. Try to become adept using this trick as it will become more than useful when you encounter later bosses who can track you with their attacks.
