Who is Aku Aku?

This witch doctor whose spirit now lives in a wooden mask guides Crash. Aku Aku masks can occasionally be found outside of Crates and will grant one Hit Point when smashed.

How do you Unlock the Time Trials?

The Time Trials only unlock after beating a level for the first time. When this has been accomplished you will then find a stopwatch at the start of the level which you can pick up to start the timer. You can press L1 in 'Level' select to see the target times for each individual Relic.

What is the Bonus Round?

When you collect all three of the Tawna, N. Brio, or Cortex tokens that are either laying around the level or hidden inside Crates the character will be transported to their respective Bonus Round area where they will be able to break crates and gain extra lives. In certain Bonus Rounds you will be able to save by going onto a transport pad. Remember though that the Bonus Rounds do not affect the total amount of crates you must collect in a level.

How do you Unlock the Secret Levels?

The following secret levels become unlocked when you get the key from Cortex in the indicated Bonus Round.

Fumbling In The Dark:

Get the key from the Cortex Bonus Round in 'Jaws of Darkness'.

Whole Hog:

Get the key from the Cortex Bonus Round in 'Sunset Vista'.

How can you see where you are in Relation to an Enemy?

Try looking at your shadow when you find yourself in situations where it is difficult to see where you are in releation to an enemy.

How do you get More Visibility in 'Lights Out' Level?

Aku Crates light up this level, if you want more visibility you have to smash every Aku crate you come across. This is also the case for the 'Fumbling in the Dark' secret level.

How do you Unlock the Alternate Ending?

Jump across the Great Hall once you have ALL of the Gems to unlock the alternate ending.
