Citizen Sleeper is a role-playing action-adventure game where you play the role of a 'Sleeper', a human who's mind has been digitized and has been put into a robot body to be controlled by the Essen-Arp corporation. Your Sleeper has escaped indentured servitude on a freighter and has arrived at a space station called the Eye, where they fight for both survival and freedom. You will meet a number of different people who represent different factions and interests. The game features multiple endings depending on the choices you made.

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why it is important to reach the second area as quickly as possible and why you should never upset the NPCs you meet. Reach the Second Area Quickly
Your first priority in Citizen Sleeper is to open the game world as quickly as possible. To begin with you will be ladened with time and resource management tasks, but your focus should be on reaching the gate that leads to the second major area of the game. There will be an expensive toll to open the gate, but it is worth the price as it will give you access to various tasks, daily activities, and opportunities to gain resources as well as the various NPCs and factions.
Interact with Nodes
Make sure whenever you enter a new location in Citizen Sleeper you interact with the nodes marked with compass symbols. It is important that you do this as it will reveal a list of tasks in the area which when completed will give you rewards as well as awareness of each zone. The only way in which you can fully unlock an area is by completing all the tasks to enter the surrounding facilities. Unlocking areas will also enable you to earn more income and resources and lead to more NPC interactions.
Talk to NPCs
It is essential that you speak to the NPCs in Citizen Sleeper, keep in mind that some of the choices you make while speaking to them will not make all of these characters happy. Once thing you must do though is keep the conversation as civil as possible. The reason for this is the residents of The Eye can give you tasks but if you offend them this will not happen, and you will lose out on some extra income. It can also affect you later in the game as some of these characters have a special expertise you might need at some point.
