Collect the indicated number of Wrenches in Story mode to unlock the corresponding additional ability for Story mode.

Bumper Ability:

Get 25 Wrenches.

Horn Ability:

Get 15 Wrenches.

Inflatable Tyre Ability:

Get 19 Wrenches.

Magnetic Tyre Ability:

Get 30 Wrenches.

Unlock Tokyo Mater

When you have completed Story mode once Tokyo Mater will become available as a playable character.

Unlock Mater the Greater Mini-Game

This mini-game becomes available when you complete any Postcard track with 4 Gold medals.
