Use Headphones

You may want to consider getting some headphones if you don't have any as doing so will enable you to hear other players general movement and footsteps, making it more difficult for the enemy to creep up behind you. Using headphones will also make playing Call of Duty: Mobile a far more immersive and intense experience.

Switch To Advanced Firing

In Call of Duty: Mobile your weapon will auto-fire if your reticule hovers over an enemy, or if you tap the button that appears. If you switch to Advanced Firing you will only be able to fire manually. The advantage of doing this is that you have a button that twins firing with zooming in simultaneously, but tapping the zoom button with your right thumb means you can then look around inside the down-sights view, whilst manually firing shots using your left hand.

Gyro Aiming

You may want to consider playing Call of Duty: Mobile with the gyro controls switched on and the sensitivity upped to 120. Playing the game using this feature will enable you to respond to audial cues and aim with your phone in real time and space, rather than relying on your thumbs or hand movements so directly.

Build Your Skillset

At the start of Call of Duty: Mobile you will playing mostly against bots, it is not until Lvl 10 onwards that you will engage in combat against humans. Your earlier matches with bots will ensure you have an opportunity to build your skillset by unlocking perks, weapons, and killstreaks without enountering too many problems. You will be able to easily identify a bot from a human by their Killcams showing that they have no additional weapons equipped.

Practice Fighfights Against A.I.

If you are new to Call of Duty: Mobile you may want to consider spending some time getting familiar with the control scheme so you are comfortable with your character's movement, nailing headshots, or aiming down sights as fast as possible. The best place to practice these is to go to the 'Multiplayer' menu and tap the matchmaking option in the bottom right and selecting the 'Vs. A.I. Opponents' option.

Sprint Lock

In Call of Duty: Mobile you can lock your character into a sprint so you are free to aim at other players while on the move. To lock your character into sprinting forward you need to move your left thumb up, and keep pushing it upwards towards the glowing orange logo, then let go. This action is particularly effective when combined with the crouch and slide.

Crouch and Slide

Sliding into combat is a great action to use, particularly when entering cover. To perform this action you simply need to tap the crouch button while running. This will make your character enter into a brief slide where they will still be able to aim their weapon as they slide.

Go Prone

You will find that by going prone, lying flat on the ground face downwards, is a useful action that will help you to stay alive when there is gunfire going off in all directions. To perform this action you just need to hold the crouch button for a couple seconds.

Jump/Mantle

You will find that the jump/mantle option will come in useful while exploring the different maps, particularly when you need to quickly get over a wall or through a window. Make sure you mantle whenever there is an opportunity to survey more of the battlefield as being higher than your opponents will give you a better vantage poiint.

Hide Underwater

One tactic you can employ to get the drop on players is to hide underwater. To do this you just have to hold down when you are in any body of water and you will descend underneath. Your weapons will still fire the same while you are submerged.

Map Advantage

Call of Duty: Mobile rolls together maps from all the different games that have been previously released in the series. The maps currently available are Crash, Crossfire and Killhouse from 2007's Modern Warfare. Firing Range and Hijacked from Black Ops, and Standoff from Black Ops 2. All of these maps have been expertly designed for kill-boxes, camping spots and encouraging showdowns at every turn so if you are familiar with these games will already have a big advantage against someone who isn't.

Collect Your Rewards

As you play matches in Call of Duty: Mobile you will accrue rewards when you perform certain actions such as multiple headshots, kill-chains, using killstreaks etc. Make sure when the match ends and you get a rundown on how you did you remember to go the left-hand side of the main menu to collect your reward (see screenshot below).
