Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is a tactical role-playing game that is the sequel to the 1998 PlayStation game Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena, and features the same core gameplay with a new setting. In Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia you choose one of six nations of the continent of Runersia and must guide it to conquer the others and unify the land using powerful Rune Knights and your summoned monsters. Check Each Castle Before Summoning Monsters
The monsters that you can summon differ from base to base so it is always worthwhile checking the 'Summon Monsters' option in each castle to see what your chances are of summoning better monsters with just mana as the cost. Also, when you summon monsters there is always a possibility that a Mana Miracle will occur, where monsters with more mana energy than others can take a new form with better stats.
Don't Lose Monsters Unnecessarily
Don't be afraid to retreat, there will be occasions when it will be more beneficial to admit defeat early on in order to avoid monsters being lost forever and your rune knight being out of action on the next phase. When you play the retreat option the involved units will retreat to the nearest nation castle. By taking a step back you will give yourself the opportunity to be more prepared for next time.
How to give Under Levelled Units Bonus Experience Points
If you have your lower levelled units deal the finishing blow during a battle you will ensure they recieve any bonus experience points that are awarded. You can also earn bonus experience points for under levelled units by using those that hit effective skills or spells on certain monsters.
Send Out your Best Knights on Exploration Quests
Exploration quests in Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia are quests that will enable you to obtain items or monsters. It is important that you use your strongest knights when attempting these as the quest success rate and item rarity is affected by the level of the knight sent. This basically means to get the best rewards possible you need to send your best knight.
How to Get Defeated Monsters Back
When a knight is defeated they retreat, but if a monster is taken out during battle it will not return unless it is summoned back at the cost of a lot of mana and a rare revival stone, which can only be obtained through exploration quests. To have the best chance of locating the rare revival stone it is essential that you always send a higher levelled knight with high monsters to ensure you have the best chance possible of finding it.
