Chapter 3: Meet the Press

After a long night of political endorsements, you begin the next chapter by heading to the Cobblepot Park to meet Oz. While making your way towards the spot where you’ll meet Oz, you are allowed to explore the whole park. Check out some graffiti, give out some change to a homeless man, examine the statue are just a few of the interactions available to you in the park.

As soon as you finish examining the statue, however, two thugs (one of which will be someone you probably spoke to earlier) will threaten you to give up your wallet, cash, and watch. At this point, even if we chose that we did not have any anything, the thugs attacked anyway. And just before the fight begins, Oz will show up and help you out.

Once the fight is over, you begin your short talk with Oz. At this point, Oz will reminisce a bit about the time you guys shared as friends and how things have changed for worse. Throughout the conversation, we chose to empathize with Oz the whole time by choosing to say that we understood how he felt. But aside from reminiscing good, old times Oz will also bring up the issue of you speaking with Carmine Falcone. In response, we chose to say that you are not trying to be friends with Falcone and that was just all for politics. But despite that, Oz will still remind you that a revolution will begin soon and that you should be on the right side. After that, you and Oz part ways.

Right after your short meeting with Oz, you now head on to the press conference to talk about Arkham Asylum. As soon as you arrive there, you will also receive a few messages from Alfred who says that something important happened. You may choose to ignore or read his messages. We chose to read Alfred’s message anyway.

At the same time you will give a short speech about the Arkham Asylum and the night Bruce’s parents were killed. For the speech, we chose the idea that building a new Arkham Asylum would help Gotham citizens who are in need of mental help.

Once your speech is done, you take on questions from the press. Since Falcone was at your home the night before, the press asks about it persistently. A reporter will also bring up the connection that Bruce’s parents may be linked to criminal families of Gotham. With this, we chose to reply by saying that the reporter may have to recheck his source. But despite that, the press people will continue to push for more questions about the topic until Harvey decides to end the press conference and allow you to leave.

Since Alfred told you that the GCPD are at your place, you hurry on home.
