Re-Collect Coins after you Die
The collectible in Astro's Playroom is Coins and the Checkpoints in the game will remember how many Coins you had when you activated them. This basically means if you are killed in a run you will spawn at the last Checkpoint with the same number of Coins you had when you activated it. You will have to re-collect any Coins you picked up afterwards before you died.
Always Plan Ahead
It cannot be stressed enought, to be successful in Astro's Playroom or any other platform game for that matter it is more beneficial to observe what lays ahead and plan accordingly instead of rushing in and likely getting killed. If you pay attention as to what is happening around you and study the movement of platforms you will get a better idea as to how to tackle them and how to deal with enemies that are trying to prevent your progress.
How to Jump Higher and Longer
As with most platform games there is a way that enables Astro to jump higher and longer. If you hold the X button on your PlayStation controller you will be able to make Astro jump significantly higher and longer compared to just tapping the X button. Knowing how to do this is essential for traversing certain gaps you will encounter.
Auto-Complete Pinwheels
If blowing into the microphone to activate the Pinwheels doesn't appeal to you because you feel it is unhygienic and you would rather not do it then simply press the thin button found just under the PlayStation Button instead so that it lights orange. Doing this will mute the microphone and result in the game auto-completing the Pinwheels for you.
How to get the Gold Dude Raider! Trophy
To get the Gold Dude Raider! Trophy you need to collect all the Artefacts in the 4 main stages and the PS Labo. In total there are 46 Artefacts scattered across the 4 Worlds and PS Labo. Each world has 9 Artefacts (x4 Worlds = 36 Artefacts). The remaining 10 Artefacts come from the Gatcha Machine in PS Labo which require the Coins you collected as you progressed through the different worlds.
How to Unlock the Secret 1994 Throwback World
Once you have completed all four worlds in Astro's playroom a secret fifth world will become unlocked called 1994 Thowback which is dedicated entirely to a boss fight that is inspired from the T-Rex tech demo from the original PlayStation's first demo disc. Once you manage to defeat the T-Rex you will be rewarded with artifacts from the PlayStation 5 era which includes the DualSense controller and the PlayStation 5 console itself.
Artefacts Locations
Listed below are all the Artefacts locations in Astro's Playroom. Collecting all of these Artefacts will reward you with the Dude Raider trophy. There are also some unmissable artefacts to collect after defeating the final boss in the game which you will need to pick up to get the trophy.

Collect Coins for the Gatcha Game
Keep an eye out for small animals such as squirrels, crabs, toucans, and rabbits within the different worlds of Astro's Playroom and then hit them to be rewarded Coins. The first two times you hit one of these animals you will get one Coin each, the third time will give you five Coins which will give you a possible total of seven. It is important that you collect as many Coins as you can as they are needed for the Gatcha Game.
