LOZ Tears of the Kingdom - How to get Archaic Tunic

With one of the most anticipated releases of 2023 finally out, players of The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK) will be looking for the best tips and tricks to make some progress fast, and this is where our guide series hopefully comes in handy. In this article, we take a look at how to get the Archaic Tunic in Tears of Kingdom.

While you may be used to seeing Link in the familiar blue shirt in Breath of the Wild, this time around, the first piece of upper body clothing you'll likely get for Link will be this green shirt. The Archaic Tunic in TOTK is easily missed however so let us guide you with the correct coordinates that you need to take you right there and start benefitting from it's armor - even if it is just +1!

To find the Archaic Tunic in TOTK, you simply need to head to coordinates 0143, -1638, 1378 in the game. This will take you to the Pondside Cave over on the southwest side of the Great Sky Island.

When you get to the cave, venture inside, but beware of attacks from the Keese and Bubbulfrogs that you will probably encounter in there, although you can just run past most of them with no problems.

You'll need to pass all the way through the cave until you find a chest, get that open to get the Archaic Tunic and start enjoying your new look.

While this shirt is fun to get, and any boost is useful early in the game, you'll soon find better armor for Link, none the less this is still a useful item to get early in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Now you have the Archaic Tunic leave the cave, and start to create a boat to cross the water. You'll need the Zonai cell to do this.
