How To Obtain Surfing Pikachu In Pokemon USUM

Even though Pikachu is a pure Electric Type, players could legitimately obtain one with the move of Surf in previous Pokemon Games. In said games, players could only obtain this rare type of Pikachu by a Mystery Gift Event of some sort (usually via Wi-FI). However, in Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, a player can actually receive a Surfing Pikachu within the normal gameplay.

In order to obtain this very special Pikachu, a player must first score the high score in Mantine Surf on all four islands that make up the Alola Region. After accomplishing this very difficult task, a player can then go to the Surfing Association in Heahea City and receive their Surfing Pikachu from the chairmen of the organization!
