At the 'Mode Select' screen move the cursor to 'Expert' and press and hold the '1-Player Start' button and rotate the 1-Player turntable clockwise two full revolutions and then release it. Then rotate the 1-Player turntable clockwise one full revolution stopping the cursor on 'Expert'. Press any 1-Player keyboard key to select 'Expert' mode and you will now be able to select 'Slake Mix', 'Nagureo Mix' and 'Another Mix'. 'Another Mix' cannot be played in Battle mode.
