My iPad broke and I'm stuck using a fire tablet. New version but still blows. I'm shopping and need advice. No apple products.

Once you have started a game with an iPad you cannot change to a non iPad device and visa versa. You can however use the other format device and create a new game identity and play all you want but once you have created a game you cannot change devices with that player identity.
Found this out the hard way.
