To add a frien in Battlelands Royal, tap the green icon at the bottom of the main screen that has three which figures in it. From there you can use the blue '+ ADD' button at the top of the screen to add your firends, as long as you know their full BattlerTag. Your own BattlerTag is shown on this page under the blue add button.
Also from here you can manage your buddies and see your own requests too.

I don’t know they are bad at explaining how to operate everything I and to look it up on google half the time
Battlelands royale sucks. For me it so only a practice game for when I play Zooba it is a really good game I gave up on trying to invite friends
