The game is set in creepy home of the iconic family where your objective is to interact with every member in outlandish ways while crafting all sorts of horror-centric collectibles as you make renovations that include expanding the mansion with new rooms and decorating them with an assortment of grim accessories to make it a house that's the stuff of nightmares. How to Unlock Characters

The different characters that make up the Addams family are unlocked by level. When you unlock a character in Addams Family: Mystery Mansion it moves the story forward so you should be looking to unlock new characters as soon as you level up. When a character is available to unlock they will appear in the mansion with an exclamation mark notification and can be purchased by spending the indicated amount of Addams coins. Once a new character has been unlocked you will be able to play their story quests.

How to Unlock Outfits

The various outfits for the family members of the Addams family are unlocked by collecting the cards you get as rewards in the Kooky boxes. These cards unlock special actions for your family which are useful for completing desires. You can purchase the remaining cards that you may need for an outfit directly using Addams coins from the 'Outfit' selection screen. The Outfit collecton can be accessed by tapping the 'Collection' icon in the left corner of the screen.

How to Fulfill Desires

Regularly check the 'Desires' of the characters you unlock so you can earn Addams coins. You will be able to make space in your inventory by granting common items which are easy to find if you need to obtain them again for crafting recipes. Use the refresh button on desires you don't want or can't grant right away.

How to get Expansion Materials

You can access Fester's hardware workshop by either tapping the toolbox icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen or go to the workshop itself which is located in 'Fester's room'. Fester's hardware workshop will help you acquire the 'Expansion Materials' that are required to expand to high-level zones. You can either complete the special orders for the requested items to craft random expansion materials or you can save time and just purchase them with Addams coins.

How to Play 'Moments'

Moments in Addams Family: Mystery Mansion are special pieces of furniture that let you earn rewards when characters are assigned to them. Try to get every available character to the selected Moment to gain more chances of getting a special item. Wait out the requested wait time and come back to claim your reward. Characters who are busy completing an action will not be available for a moment. Also, once assigned, a character can't be used to complete any other action.

How to Unlock New Rooms

To unlock new rooms in Addams Family: Mystery Mansion you need to be at a certain player level. When a new room has been unlocked it will get give you either a new moment or a new crafting building. Focus on unlocking the crafting building zones first as they will provide you with new items and recipes to fulfill. To unlock a room you just need to select it, collect the items, and have the indicated amount of Addams coins requested.
