Once you have finish seeing the FMV, leave the inn and watch the event.
*You can save the game by speaking to the Adventurer. They wear a red
set of clothing and are highlighted with a S symbol on the map.
*If you ever get lost in Bravely Default, go to the yellow pointer highlighted
in your map. It points to the next destination objective.
*To learn magic spells, you will need to purchase them from the shop before
you can use them.

Head north to Gardisra Castle. Speak with the King, then leave. Head outside
to the world map and then go northwest to the caves.

|Brave: Using the brave command, you can have an additional command during |
| your turn. However using the Brave command requires BP, and you will |
| not have your turn back until your BP returns to 0 or higher. |

|Default: Using the Default command, will put your character into a defense |
| stance and replenish your BP. Use this command to defend and stock |
| up your BP. |

*Learning how to take advantage of the Brave and Default system is the key on
winning battles.
*Holding the A button during battle will allow you to fast forward battle
animation.

Follow the path west until you have reach to the end of the valley, you will
meet Agnes and see an event.
Now escape from the valley, you will also be forced into two enemy encounters
between grunts. Just deal with them like regular monsters. Once you exit out
of the cave you will learn about the Friend Summon function.

|Friend Summon Tutorial|

|In Bravely Default, you are given a function called Friend Summon. By using |
|this command, you can record your own attack, ability and other miscellaneous|
|function to be summon by other players from the Street Pass function and vice|
|versa. To update the street pass, speak to the Adventurer. You can only |
|update the Street Pass once per day. |

-----------------------+ First Kingdom Gardisra---+----------------------------
Once you have return to Gardisra, go to the castle and speak with the King.
You will be given a new function called the Nolende Reconstruction. You can
access it by touching the village icon on the left side of your touch screen.

|With this function you can reconstruct Nolende village with Streetpass users.|
|Each area can be reconstructed or upgraded after a villager spend a certain |
|amount of time on that area. Doing this will benefit you with new abilites, |
|and items for the Adventurer. *You do not need to be playing Bravely |
|Default to wait for construction time, you can have the DS closed and the |
|time will progress. |

Before you head to the next destination, you should equip your characters
with new gear and stock up on healing items. Now head to the world map
and go to the lake at the south east area. Watch the Event and fight the boss.
*Boss strategy varies between players as each have their own playstyle and job
classes. The following boss strategy is based on my methods to win.

|This is the very first boss battle and it can be a pretty tough one to start.|
|I recommend on taking out Holly first, as she is the support unit, she can |
|cast protect and heal her party. Try to get Holly's HP down to like around |
|25% or more (70 to 80 HP) and then unleash your brave command and attack |
|her consecutive times to kill her before she can heal herself. Then focus on |
|Bearing. Bearing can hit very hard after he use his BP along with the |
|Invigorate command to attack. This can deal around 70 to 100 damage depending|
|on your status. Use the Default command to stock up BP and attack Bearing |
|when hes in Negative BP. |

*You will obtain a Monk and White Mage Asterisk. With this you can now class
change into different jobs. Each job have their own unique ability and status
parameters. For more detail information on each job, read the Job Section
on section 5.
Each character can will can use two sets of job abilities. The primary is
based on your character class and the other is from the equipped on the
ability section on the menu.

Alot of the monsters in this dungeon will have poison properties. I recommend
having a White Mage or bring some antidote for this area. The dungeon is
pretty straightforward, use the switch level to open the gate to the next area.
Once You reach to the Yellow Exclaimination mark you will fight a boss.

|Ominous is a pretty tough boss, the good news, is Edea joins your party and |
|her damage output is insanely high because of her Ise-no-Kami sword. So spam |
|her brave command and attack Ominous. Use Anise as a support character and |
|Tiz as another fighter. |

Return back to Gardisra and enter the castle throne room to see an event. Now
leave the kingdom.

|Deathblow Tutorial|
=============================================================================
|From now on, you can use the Deathblow command. Deathblow are special attacks|
|that requires a certain condition before you can use them in battle. Using a |
|deathblow command, will give a status buff to your entire party members and |
|will also change the battle BGM (Background Music). Additional Deathblows can|
|be unlocked in Nolende village. |

the fort at the north end.

Watch the event, and shortly after your cover is blown, so be prepare to fight
some grunts. Near the end of this dungeon you will find a Blue Chest, you
cannot open that at the moment. So don't bother trying, you have to wait till
chapter 6 before you will have access to it. Once you find the Adventurer,
the exit should be near, saved your game and head outside to the airship.
Prepare for another boss battle.

|Heinkel has high defense, its highly recommended to have a Black Mage for |
|boss battle. All of the enemies here are weak to thunder, so immediately take|
|out the grunts first. If you don't they will poison you with their poison |
|arrow. The best way to take out the grunts, is to cast the thunder spell on |
|all targets, this way you can prevent Heinkel from using his cover ability |
|to bodyguard his grunts. Once you have taken out the grunt you can focus on |
|taking out Heinkel. Heinkel's ability Iron Wall and Shield attack gives him |
|a tremendous amount of defense, that makes it very difficult to deal enough |
|damage with your melee fighters. However once Heinkel HP drop down to 1000, |
|he'll use his charge ability, that will greatly increase his attack power but|
|lower his defense. This is the best opportunity for your Melee fighters to |
|attack him. |

Once you have defeated Heinkel, return to Gardisra, then go to the throne room
and watch the event scene. Leave the Kingdom. You now have the airship,
"Echalote" at your possession. Take control of the airship and fly to the
southeast continent of Lakrika.
*The airship can only land in water, and requires a port to dismount.

Head to Lakrika City at the center at the southeast continent. Watch the event
,then speak to the villager highlighted with the yellow exclaimination mark
and then see talk to the King Matamatto VIII at his throne room for another
event. Now leave the city. At this point of the game, you will be introduce
to sub quest or continue with the main story. All Side quest desintations
are highlighted with a blue exclaimination mark.

Sub Quest 1 is now available. Finishing this Sub Quest will reward you with the
thief and merchant class. For more info read section 4 or use the search code

Head to the Wind Temple, which is just directly south of Lakrika.

Alot of debris will be blocking your path on the first floor, so you will need
to wander around and use the second floor to get to the other side.
* You will also notice a Owl Wizard standing there, you can get a new summon
ability from him once you have unlocked the Summoner Job class.
Once you reach to the north end of the first floor, there should be a switch
you can press to open a shortcut to the entrance area. Go the crystal room and
see the event.

Leave the wind temple and use the airship to fly to the forest area north
of Lakrika. Land in the lake and enter the small house.

Go to the cave in the southwest, not the one that is directly west.

In this dungeon you will encounter enemies that can use ability to confuse your
allies. Its best to finish off each monster quickly to avoid difficulties.
When you reach to the 3rd floor, you should find a Adventurer. Save
the game before you go to the next area, because there will be a boss right
just ahead.

|The Dragon is one of the easiest boss battles in Bravely Default. The Dragon |
|is immune to fire magic and relies on only physical attacks. Just stick to |
|the basic on keeping your HP UP and exchanging attacks and the Dragon will |
|go down in no time. |

Now that you got the Rainbow Thread, leave the dungeon and go back to Yuruyana.
Watch the event, and rest for the night. Head back to the Wind temple.

|Ultros has two heads, one is ice and the other one is fire. The ice head |
|does very high damage to a single target, while the fire head will do damage |
|that hit all allies. Focus on taking out one of the first, because this boss |
|hits very hard. If your gear is poor at this point of the game, I suggest |
|having two White Mage to heal support your party. |

Once you have defeated Ultros, you are prompt to shine the crystal again. Just
rapidly press the X button until Airy tells you to stop. You will also gain
an additional support point. Now return back to Lakrika and watch the event.
Leave the city for another event.
You can now unlock the Time Mage and Magic Swordsman class. For more info
read section 4 or use the search code [SQ02].
Leave Lakrika and enter your airship to see an event. Your airship will be
broken, so you will have to travel everywhere on foot. So go to the forest
on the east.

Be careful when traveling in this forest, all the water puddle will poison you
when you step on them. If you have a level 4 Freelancer, there's an ability

reach the exit. Go to the city located in the center.

Leave the water Temple and return to Flowell and speak to Obaba again. You can
now do sub quest 3 and 4. Finishing them will earn you the summoner and hunter

|Ice attacks. Magic is not the best choice of attacking this boss as it cast |
|reflect on itself. So just deal with the Land Turtle like a regular mob. |

Leave Mt. Chelate and go to Yuruyana's house. Speak to Yuruyana and watch the
event. Return to Flowell, and go to north section of town to see an event.
You can now unlock the Red Mage and Valkyrie class. For more info read

find the ruins on the west.

|This boss can be pretty rough if you don't have an ally that can use attacks |
|that hit all targets. If you got a white magic user, cast shell on your party|
|When Rusalka strikes, he will disappear and reappear with a water attack that|
|split himself into 4. If you have the Valkyrie class, the Cresent Moon skill |
|is a great way of getting rid of Rusalka Fakes in a instant. Once you have |
|gotten rid of the fakes, Rusalka will shortly repeat this pattern again. |
|Rusalka got alot of HP, so this boss fight might take a while. |

Release the Crystal with X button, until Airy tells you to stop. You now gain
another Support point. Leave the Water Temple and go to Flowell and speak with
Obaba. Return to Airship by going through Stagnant Forest. If you pick up
the summoner job class, you can get the wind summon "Hraesvelgr" by speaking
to the Wind Sage in the Wind temple.

Travel west until you have reach the southwest continent of Eisenburg.
Leave your ship and listen to Lutz's discussion. Leave your ship and
from here keep heading west until you find the city by the volcano. You will
also see an event in the middle of reaching your destination.

Enter the large mansion, to see an event. Leave Hartsurt and head east to
the battle fortress and speak to Goodman. Watch the event, and leave. You
can now start the Black-Iron Blades side quests. To do so return to back to
the Harbour where you first landed in Eisenburg and speak to Lutz and hear
the story about the Black-Iron Blades. For more info read section 4 or use

Now continue on with the main event, head to Fort Gulaap, its located in
the northeast region of Eisenburg.

Fort Gulaap has a layout of three floors, you can access each are simply by
pushing the lever in each area. Once you have reach to center area of the
second floor, saved the game and fight boss right ahead. Obtain the poison
sample and return to the battle fortress on the center of Eisenburg and
speak to Goodman. You can start start the Superstar sub quest. For more

Leave the fort, and head northwest to the Mithril Cave. In the Mithril Caves,
you need to rescue all the hostage. First you need to find an enemy grunt on
the screen usually around a corner or by a treasure chest. There is a total of
four enemy grunts in B1, and five in B2. Once you have successfully rescue all
the hostages, exit out of Mithril Cave and watch the event scene.

Now go to Fort at the furthest north.

once you have reach to Stark Fort, you will see an event. Go inside the
Fort, from here there is three stairways, from the left, center and right.
The Center Path will be blocked until you have clear the Fire Temple. The
stairway on the right is to advance through the main story. The stairway on
the left is to fight the Chemist Kada. Once you have reach the second floor,
you will rescue the boy Egil. You can return back to Hartsurt city to continue
forward to the main story.

Once you're are back in Hartsurt City, go to the mansion on the center. Watch
the event. Now go back to the Mithril Cave on the north. Head all the way
down to the last floor, and find the door at the north center of the map.
Watch the event scene, and Egil will unlock the door for you.
---------------------+--- Volcano Underground Cave ---+------------------------
This dungeon is really long, you be going around four floors to get to the
next destination. There is alot of Magma in this dungeon, each time you step
on them you will lose around 10% of your HP, so equipped the Freelancer Level 4
ability "Hopscoth" or use alot of healing. When you finally reach to 1F west
you will find the hidden Fire Temple.

Inside the Fire Temple, you can find the Adventurer near the Crystal
Room to save your game. Head to the Southeast area to find Fire Sage.
Challenge the Fire Sage and survive his attack to learn Prometheus Flame
summon spell. *Recommend you to equip the Black Mage Lv 4 Skill " Resist Fire".
Once you are ready, go to the crystal room for a boss fight.

|Chaugnar will start the battle with it's barrier on. You will only do one |
|damage to it during this moment. As it has its barrier on, Chaugnar will cast|
|its drain spell on your allies. Best to keep using the default command until |
|Chaugnar turns off it's barrier. During this time, it the best moment to |
|unleash your strongest attacks on it. If you don't finish it off, it will use|
|its Energy Burst attack, which can wipe out your entire party instantly if |
|you not in a defending postion. *I suggest using skills like Spirit Barrier |
|from the Valkyrie job class to survive this attack if you forgot to defend. |

Release the Crystal by pressing the X button rapidly, until Airy tells you to
stop. Now you will gain another Support Point. Now leave the fire temple and
return to the world map. You can now do the Sword Master Side Quest, just
head to Stark Fort. For more information read section 4 [SQ10]
Go to central fort of Eisenburg and speak to Captain Goodman. Watch the event
scene and then from here you need to go to several places. To Hartsurt City,
then Goodman's Mansion in Hartsurt. Then go to Grandship and speak to the
customer on the far west in the pub. Then go to the Inn in Gardisra, return
back to Goodman's Mansion. Then go to Gardisra castle.
At this point of the game, you can now start the Ninja side quest scenario,
for more detail read section 4 [SQ11].
Now head to Grand ship and watch the event in the pub. Leave the pub and go
to the north section of Grand Ship. Watch the event and then leave Grand Ship.
Go to the Inn in Gardisra and get the Oricalcum from Egil. Return to Grand Ship
and go to the north section, the door on the center can be unlock now.
Open that door and head down.

In this dungeon you will need to go find two levers to activate the elevator
at the beginning of the dungeon. Once you have access to the elevator, you
can reach to the Engine Center. You can speak to the Adventurer and
save, a boss fight will be just right ahead.

|first and then focus on Victor. |

Once you have defeated the Duo, you will get the Magus and Devout job class.
Return back to the entrance and go to the center area. Watch the story event.
When you have control over Edea, try to leave the room. Watch the scene between
Brave.

and rescue your party members.
Ringabell is located top center.
Agnes is located on the southeast corner.
Tiz is located on the bottom center.
When each of your party members rejoin you, they will lose all their job
support abilities and you will need to equip them again.
*You will also notice a treasure chest is located next to the room that Agnes
is located in. You cannot open the door this room, but you can get the treasure
chest by going near area next the stairs on the southwest corner. There is
a hidden passage located on the bottom.

Once you exit out of B1, you will see an event scene and will be back to
the Council Headquarters. Head to the elevator on the northeast. You will
end up on the 47th floor. Go to the next floor, you can find Edea's room on
the northeast exit. In Edea's room You can rest to fully recover party.
Once you have reach to the Adventurer, save your game and take the elevator
for the next boss fight.

|battle, once you have dealt 35000 damage or more, Brave will automatically |
|revive himself, you will need to defeat him three times to win this battle. |
|This makes Brave's total HP to be 105000. |

Watch the event scene, you will return to the 1st floor of the Council
Headquarters. The door on the north exit will be now unlocked. You can also
start the Vampire sub quest, for more information read section 4 [SQ12].
Now take the north exit and go to the Tower of the Undead on the east.

In this tower, you can find the Thunder Sage and learn the summon skill Deus
EX Machina on the southwest area at the second floor. The summon attack does
about 3500 damage to your entire party, if you still have the katana "Raikiri"

In the 4th floor, one of the stairs will take you to the Earth Temple.

Once you have successfully defeated the Gigas Lich, release the crystal by
rapidly pressing the X button. Watch the event scene and leave the dungeon.
Go to the areas highlighted with an exclamation mark and call out Grand Ship
by pressing the ship icon on your touch screen.
Watch the event scene and fly to the area highlighted wtih an exclaimation
mark. Once you are at the Holy Pillar, Airy will ask if you are ready, say
yes and watch the series of events.

Speak to the innkeeper, than talk to the King.
You will also have Anazel's diary in your inventory. You can check by it
pressing the Book of D icon on the touchscreen.
Leave the city and enter through Nolende Hill, run to the end and watch the
event scene. Agnes will join your party again.
Leave and return back to Gardisra. Speak to Ringabell on the east and then
go to the kingdom's cemetery on the west and speak to Edea. Return to
the inn and watch the event scene. You will have access to Grand Ship again.
New items and spells are available in the Grand Ship Shops.
You can also obtain the final summon "Susanoo", to get this summon you
have to fly to island that is north of Flowell. Land on the island and on the
top area you will trigger a scene with a sage. Survive the Susanoo attack
to obtain the summon. Susanoo does from 6500 to 8500 damage, you can
survive this attack if you equip the ability Angel's Blessing from a level 8
white mage, but the skill needs to activate to survive the blast which is
all based on your luck.
Now due to circumstances of the story, you will now be doing everything
you have done from the beginning of the game again. You can examine all
the blue exclaimination marks to fight bosses you have previously encounter
before. But beware, they are much stronger than your previous encounter.
If you want to continue with the main story, than go to each of the
Temple and release the crystal again. *If you have the Vampire Job you can
learn ability from the bosses in the crystal room with Genome Drain.
You can automatically fast forward to the final chapter by destroying
the Crystal during the crystal release segment. Just keep rapidly press X
and ignore Airy's warning.
Doing this will bring you to the final chapter, but not the true final
chapter. However I do not recommend doing this at this point of the game,
because you will be underlevel and wouldn't know about this detail in the
story yet.
You can fight the same sets of bosses in later chapters, however the bosses
will have higher status than their Chapter 5 counterpart.
All the boss are in the exact location as you have previously encounter them.
Sub bosses such as Barbarossa, requires you to release the Water Crystal
before you can get the event to find him. Lord Lester requires you to defeat
all the dragons found in keystone again.

After releasing two crystals, go to Yuruyana's House. Watch the events,
and head to the cave on the west. You will only have Tiz and Agne in your
party, luckily all the monsters in the cave are pushovers.
Once you have reach to the end, speak to Yuruyana. Then leave the dungeon
and reunite with your party members.
Go to the remaining two temples and release the crystals.
Once you have finish this task, go to the Holy Pillar and fight Anazel again.

Watch the event scene, when you have control on your characters, you will be
back in Grand Ship. You will notice a glowing dark object in the ground,
pick it up. This is the Treasure Chest Key, which unlocks all those blue
treasure chest you were seeing earlier. Majority of the items found in the
chest are probably the best items found in the game, so remember to pick
those up.
You can also watch another event scene by speaking to the King od Gardisra.
Anyways to progress through the main game, go the temples and release the
crystal. After releasing three crystals go to Yuruyana's house and speak
to Yuruyana. Do the exact same thing as the previous chapter, where you go
the cave on the west and find Yuruyana at the lowest depths and talk to
him. You can also start the Evoker Sub quest, for more information read
section 4 [SQ13].
After this revelation, you can try and destroy the crystal to get to the
final chapter. Clearing the game on the final chapter and saving a clear
file will bring back to the Crystal Release story segment. So its a good
way of seeing alternative ending.
If you want the true ending, than do the same thing before and release
all crystals and go the Holy Pillar.

And the cycle repeat itself, anyways I suggest fighting all the sub bosses
you have previously defeated. Not only the bosses are now stronger, but you can
steal some of the best equipment in the game from them.
If you chose not to fight them and wanted to be done with the game, then you
have two options, go to the final chapter or get the True ending chapter. To
get to the final chapter, simply destroy the crystal by pressing the X button
rapidly and ignore Airy's warning during the crystal release segment.
Use search code [MW09] for details on the last chapter.
If you want to get the real true ending, than repeat everything you have
previously done from the previous chapter, that is go around the world and
release the crystal in each of the temple and then go to Holy Pillar and
fight Anazel. Repeat this process, and you will be in Chapter 8, and than
repeat the exact same cycle again to get to the real ending.

*The bosses have been upgraded for Chapter 7 and 8. Not only you can steal some
of the best gear, but they also drop some of the best armor found in the game.

If you destroy the crystal from Chapter 5 to 8, the game will automatically
fast forward the game to this chapter. Immediately you will fight a boss you
can't win. One of the coolest things you can check is the title screen, the
title will automatically change and the whole subtitle of the game will make
sense now.
Leave the temple and head to the Nolende Crater and enter The Aurora of
Darkness.
*There is also optional dungeon at this point of the game if you finish the
Vampire sub quest again speak to Lord Lester. It will reveal a dungeon
on the northeast islands. In that dungeon you will find some of the strongest
equipment found in the game and also the strongest boss awaits for you in
the last floor.

|of the two forms put together. Airy have a variety of attacks that can hit |
|hard and cause your party members to be poison, The attack you have to watch |
|out for is her Zetta Flare, this is hard hitting fire attack follow with |
|Ulitma right after. After you have done 60000 HP or more damage, she will |
|heal herself 9999 HP, this actually fully recovers her HP and not actually |
|9999 HP being recovered, she does this twice in the entire battle, making her|
|overall HP a total of 180000. Airy is also weak towards fire attacks, a way |
|of taking advantage of this, is just the Magic Swordsman job ability to imbue|
|your weapons with fire. |

|The very first form of Ouroboros take the shape of your party members and |
|have abilities found in various job class. After defeating his first phase |

|his death attacks. When you defeated his 2nd form, Ouroboros will take shift |
|to another phase again, this form uses the exact same attacks from his second|
|phase except he can use Demon Hand which reduce your entire party BP by 1. |
|Once you him to his 4th phase, he can use his World End attack, this is |
|Ouroboros second strongest attack. When you finally have reach to his last |
|form, Ouroboros can use all majority of the skills from his previous and his |
|world end will be replaced with Disaster which hits even harder than World's |

<Bonus Dungeon>

You can access the bonus dungeon when you reach to the final chapter. Accessing
this dungeon is suicide at low levels, so it is recommended you to be fairly
high level and have strong job class abilities. To go to the bonus dungeon,
first you need to see the events involving Yuruyana, once you do head northeast
on the world's map where the snow cresent island is located, you will find the
bonus dungeon there.

Some preparations you need to know about this dungeon, there is only one
save point and its only on the first floor. The dungeon also disable the
teleport function, so in order for you to leave, you will need to run all the
way back. There are some really dangerous monsters, that is more recommended
for you to run away then fight them.

If you manage to reach to the 9th floor, there's a monster called Gub-Gub
that you can steal Mega Elixers. Its highly recommended to have at least

|The ultimate boss in Bravely Default, the Adventuer hits extremely hard, his |
|"All Slash" attack can hit an entire party of 6000 to 7000 HP, which can |
|instantly wipe out an underlevel party, and not only that but his loyal fox |
|companion is real annoying. The fox can take damage for the Adventurer and |
|the two bosses has the ability to revive each other. If you defeat one of |
|them, you need to defeat the other one immediately or else all your efforts |
|will go down in the drain. If your BP ever drops below zero, you will most |
|likely will experience a quick game over. There is many ways of defeating the|
|Adventurer, most of them relies on exploiting your job abilities to the |
|highest degree. One particular setup which has a team with the Dark Knight |
|ability and ability from other class such as, Merchant and Freelancer's Mime |
|skill can allow you to defeat the Adventurer in two to three turns. Using |
|The Merchant's ability "Low Leverage" you can reduce the amount of damage |
|taken, and have the party members with the Dark Knight ability equipped, spam|
|Death Wish (boost attack power under death sentence) and Insanity, this will |
|spam Darkness until HP reach to 1, follow with a Mega Elixer right after, and|
|use Insanity again, then have your other party members mime the exact skill |
|set. IF the setup was done correctly, you will end up using Darkness more |
|then 60 times (The damage need to be near 9999 per hit) to wipe the boss out.|
|Then there's also a last and final option to defeat the Adventurer, by using |
|the Merchant's final ability "Acquisition" and pay off the Adventurer to win |
|(This requires nearly maxed out money, and exact same method in Final Fantasy|
| X International, when Yojimbo to defeat the secret boss "Penace". |

Sub Quest 1: Thief and Merchant's Asterisk [SQ01]

Availability: In Chapter 1, when you arrive in Lakrika and have seen the event
between the king.
This is the first sub quest avaialble in the game, the map should be now have
a blue indicator label with the word "SUB". This is your destination for sub
quest events.
First go to Lakrika and enter the mansion on the farthest east end and speak
to Nikosguy Boritori. Leave the mansion and speak to the man that is near
the mansion. Leave Lakrika and head to the Oasis on the west to see an event.
Now to the cave in the northwest corner for another event.

This dungeon is loaded with statue traps that can blind your party when you
touch the gas they breathe out. Clear this dungeon and reach to the end
to fight a boss.

|This should be a pretty easy boss battle with the proper setup, the two boss |
|does not really hit very hard, but Naerik have a skill that can silence your |
|ally, so equip the magic users with silence resist. Jackal will usually try |
|steal a potion from you, so you don't need to worry about Jackal too much. |
|Take out Naerik first, then focus all on Jackal. When Jackal's HP reach down |
|to 10% he can heal himself with a potion for 600 HP. |

Once you have defeated Jackal and company, return back to Lakrika. Before
you confront Boritori, you should stock up on revive items as the next boss
fight can be a little luck based if your HP is below 600. Once you are ready,
head to the mansion on the east end of city and confront Boritori.

|Not exactly a easy battle here, you probably expect Boritori to be a push |
|over based on his appearance, but he's not. Naerik remains the same as the |
|previous battle, you can take him out pretty quick. Boritori is a whole |
|different story, his attack "Takeover" does a gurantee 300 damage regardless |
|of defense, so each if use his brave command to hit the same target twice, |
|your ally member is gurantee to be K.O. at this stage of the game. If you |
|have a Lv5 Black Mage, you can use the ability Damage Split, which will |
|divide the damage taken between your party members. This is helpful if you |
|want to spend a lot of reviving items. |

Sub Quest 2: Time Mage and Magic Swordsman's Asterisk [SQ02]
===============================================================================
Availability: In Chapter 1, after restoring wind the back, go to Lakrika and
see the speech with the King.
First you need to leave town and enter the Lakrika during night time. You will
notice that during night time, one of the windmills can be enter, head there
and enter the secret passage. Clear the dungeon by finding two switches,
which will open the door to the elevator. Watch the event scene and fight
boss.

|act as the support member in his team. So once you have take out Matamatto |
|focus on defeating Naerik. |

Availability: Speaking to Obaba in Flowell after returning from the Water
Temple.
Go to the Flowell Weapon shop to see an event. Leave Flowell and head northwest
to the blue exclaimination mark. Watch an event and enter the Flowell Garden.

In this area, there will a some blue flowers that when stepped on, it will
cause silence to your entire party. So try your best to avoid them. You can
have the Freelancer Level 4 ability "Hopscotch" to avoid taking terrain damage.

|The grunt units here are the most annoying part of this fight. Take them out |
|first, because they can cause confuse to your party. Mefirea can also call |
|out for more grunt units, if you're lucky you might never see her call out |
|another grunt. After 3 turns, Mefirea can use her summon attack which deals |
|around 400 to 500 damage to your party. Best method of winning this battle |
|is to find a fast way of taking out Mefirea since her defense is poor. |

Now that you have obtain the Summoner Job class, you can learn new summoning
spells by speaking to the elemental sages. Remember that Owl in the Wind
Temple? You can learn a summon skill from him. But you have to survive the
blast in order to obtain the spell. It does roughly around 900 to 1200 damage
to your party based on your magic defense.

Sub Quest 4: Hunter's Asterisk [SQ04]

Availability: Speaking to Obaba in Flowell after returning from the Water
Temple.
You will need to speak to three different NPCs in Flowell. They are highlighted
with a blue exclaimination mark. Once you have spoken to all of them, leave
Flowell and head to the northeast area. You will forced into a battle with
two grunts units. Defeat them. Head east until you see a large tree. Before you
enter, I recommend you to save your game, because the next boss boss battle can
be rough.

|they will most likely end up causing abnormal status on your party. Artemis |

|random but it does around 2000 damage divided among your party. But the key |
|of winning is to use your default command to stock up BP and defend against |
|Artemis's attack as she usually like to save up 2 BP before unleashing all |
|her attacks. |

Sub Quest 5: Red Mage's Asterisk [SQ05]

Availability: Returning to Flowell after speaking with Yuruyana.
*If you have the Locket Accessory, equipped it on Edea for this event.
When you come back to Flowell for the third time. You can start the Red Mage
side quest. First speak to the man dress in red, he's highlighted with a blue
exclaimination mark in town. Watch the event. Finish the Saint Flower Festival
or else the next event won't trigger. Go to the inn and rest for the night.
An event should trigger where Ringabell is lost in thought. Come back to
Flowell During night time, and speak to the people highlighed with the blue
exclaimination marks. Ringabell and Tiz will decide to follow Fiore, and
should end in a failure. Repeat the same thing for tomorrow, Edea will be
bait for the next event. You will end up in the Underground Room, check up
on Edea in the cell and fight the boss.

|Einferia is a hard hitter just like her younger sister Artemis, however all |
|of her special abilities require BP to use, she usually go with a pattern of |
|Cresent Moon, or Jump. Her Cresent Moon does high damage too all of your |
|allies and her Jump ability does a very high damage to a single target on the|
|next turn. If he use her Jump, Its best time to use the default command, to |
|defend and saved up BP. Once Einfernia's HP is running low, she will cast |
|Spirit Barrier on herself which use her MP as a shield to protect herself. |
|The Spirit Barrier disappears after 10 turns or when you have drain all her |
|MP. |

Author's note: The Valkyrie is one of the best class you can get at this point
of the game, great status and have amazing attack skills. However this class
is too reliant on BP.

Sub Quest 7: Pirate Asterisk [SQ07]

Availability: Before going to Fort Gulaap.
After speaking with Goodman, you're suppose to go to Fort Gulaap, at this point
, a blue exclaimination mark will appear on the port you first landed in
Eisenburg. Return there and speak to Lutz and hear the story behind the
Black-Iron Blades. The next part of the sub event is not shown on the map
unlike the previous sub quest. You need use your ship and go around an area
with a lot of fog. ( * Locations I have seen it spawn, southwest to Grand Ship,
north of Grand Ship) Its in a different location each time. But once you are
near the fog, An event scene will occur, in which your party encounters a ghost
ship. Choose the second option to board on the Ghost Ship.

Sub Quest 8: Superstar Asterisk [SQ08]

Availability: After obtaining the Poison Sample from Fort Gulaap.
Return back to the battle fortress in the center of Eisenburg and speak to
Captain Goodman. Talk to him and select the third choice. Watch the event
between Pudding and her soldiers. Now leave Eisenburg and use your ship and
go to Grand Ship. Enter the bar and speak to the Old Lady highlighted with
Blue Exclaimination mark and then talk to another old man within the same
area that is also highlighted with a Blue Exclaimination mark. Leave Grand Ship
and go to the following city in order and speak to each of the NPC highlighted
with a blue exclaimination mark.
1. Lakrika (Desert City in the southeast continent)
2. Gardisra (First City)
3. Flowell (Flower City in the northeast continent)
4. Hartsurt City (City by the Volcano In the West Continent )
After you have finished this task, return back to Grandship and speak to the
old lady at the bar. Return back to the Fortress in Eisenburg and speak to
Captain Goodman and choose to the 3rd option to fight Pudding.

|Pudding is a very strong supportive unit, as a superstar class she can buff |
|her party, making them hit extremely hard. These grunts are very powerful |
|and can kill your party members in a few blows and also have attacks that |
|cause confuse. My method of wiping out Pudding, is to using Valkyrie's |
|Cresent Moon and Judgement to dish out as much damage as possible and also |
|dealing damage to the grunt units. The summoner job class also works out very|
|well at for killing the grunt units. A lazy and cheap way of winning this |
|battle is to use the summon your friend feature and summon the friends that |
|can do 9999 damage to get rid of Pudding as soon as possible. If you let |
|Pudding call out a new set of grunts, they have lower HP and also a different|
|set of items to steal. (star Pendant.) |

Sub Quest 9: Chemist Asterisk [SQ09]

Availability: When you go to Stark Fort to find Egil.
You can not really miss this side quest. All you need to do is take the left
stairway in Stark Fort to find Dr. Kada. Once you have found Dr. Kada, defeat
him to get the Chemist Job class.

it before you can access the area. Enter the Vampire Castle and watch the
event scene. You will need to find 6 keystones to gain access to the Vampire
Castle. Each keystone is located on the world map, and when you examine them
you will fight a dragon.

|more damage as your HP gets lower, if you keep your party members at nearly |
|full hp it does very little damage. If you have poor luck, Lester can use |
|his Energy Burst and Bone Crusher right after, this can instantly wipe out |
|your party. |

Sub Quest 13: Evoker Asterisk [SQ13]

Availability: During Chapter 6, after releasing releasing three crystals and
have spoke to Yuruyana at Caves.
Return to Yuruyana's house for to find a letter. Afterwards you will need to
defeat some bosses before you can trigger the next event. First find Yuruyana
in the Eternia General Headquarters. In the last floor the room where Brave
is usually at, you will find Yuruyana there. See the even and then defeat the
following bosses from the order listed below.

|Nolende Reconstruction is a unique feature in Bravely Default, where you can |
|rebuild a village by finding Street Pass users. By reconstructing this |
|village, you will gain many benefits that will greatly aid you on journey. |
|These benefits will allow the Adventurer to sell you items at the save point |
|and also new abilities and effects for Deathblow attacks. |

|Friends you added by using the Friend Code does not count as a member of the |
|Nolende Village. To increase the village population you must find them using |
|Street Pass or by speaking to the Merchant and use the Search function. The |
|Search function only works once per day. |
