Shovel Knight 3DS Cheats and Tips

In the first phase of the Tinker Knight fight you can defeat him instantly by attacking him with the Mobile Gear.

When you start a new profile and enter your name as 'IM&SGC14' (without the quotes) a message will appear on screen confirming correct code entry. If you name your character again to whatever desired ALL relics will become unlocked, your health and mana will be increased, and you will have the Dynamo armour equipped. In Iron Man mode you can only play one level, which will be timed.

This feature will become enabled when you start a new profile and enter your name as 'J&2JMP!' (without the quotes). If the code has been entered correctly a confirmation message will appear on screen.

You can make boss fights easier by purchasing two Troupple Chalices and have Troupple King fill them with ichor. The ichor can be health/magic restoration or brief invisibility.

Save a game where you have defeated the final boss to be asked when you start up the cleared file if you want to start New Game+.

If you go left immediately in the King's Knight stage you will discover a place that has four statues and a music note. If you go to the right side of it and jump up and hit the top part of the building you will reveal the Yacht Club Games logo.

Use the shovel drop attack which is basically Shovel Knight jumping on an enemy's head often as it is his best attack and results in multiple hits. The shovel drop can also be used as a defensive maneuver.
