Then they won't be sweethearts or married anymore, and it won't show in the mii's friendship status that the deleted mii is that mii's ex because that mii was deleted, and has been forgotten about by every other mii, and the house for the married couples will disappear to, and where the house was before will be an open gap left, and the next couple to get married will likely take that spot, so pretty much the same thing as if they brake up except for the friendship status thing...
