Well I am not professional, but just wait a day or two after your pet is gone.Then go on the phone and go to adopt pet and your pet should be there.

Didn't for me either! My sims froze for like 5mins and finally government came and took my little Peanut away and I had to adopt new dog! Miss my Peanut!!!!

K you have to have 200000 money go to graystone park and buy it back

If you havent been playing that long I suggest to not save and quit the game and then go back an earlier save where you have your pet
