You don't need it. Just go to Kakariko Village, go to the Graveyard, and go inside Dampe's graveyard. Race the ghost and he'll give you the Hookshot, which is the replacement for the Boomerang.

You can't but you get a new waepon go to the graveyard and more the grave with flowers in front of it you will find a hloe and must ba a adult

Ya can't. Simple as that. And... A new weapon is to replace it. Hookshot!! You can also get a longshot. You can't use weapons that you got as a kid *Beside sword... I think...* That would be slingshot + boomerang
