Start by going to Kakariko Village as an adult. Go into the windmill, and pull out your Ocarina in front of the person inside. He will teach you the song of storms. Go back to that guy as a kid and play the Song of Storms for him. The windmill will then spin too fast and cause the well to drain. Go into the well and explore a little. Eventually, when you lower the water in the mini-dungeon, you will be able to find Dead Hand. Defeat Dead Hand and you will receive the Lens of Truth.

Go to the windmill room. The spinny windmill dude gives you the song of storm on the ocarina. You have to be an adult. Then become a kid again and play him a song of storms. Then the windmill will spin faster and faster and faster and the well water will drain. Go in the well, and when you get past you'll get Eyes of truth.
