When you have cleared ALL the puzzles in the game you will receive a message with the challenge to complete every puzzle with a Rainbow Medal. When you achieve this you will receive another message congratualting you on your achievement and be given 'Platinum Status' and your file will be recoloured to platinum. Note: You can only get Rainbow Medals on the Hard difficulty setting and the amiboo puzzles do not count.
To unlock the Expert level puzzle books you must clear ALL the puzzles in Books 1-40 and then watch the credits.
When you scan the indicated amiibo figures you will unlock the corresponding special Nintendo-related puzzle.
