Hyrule Warriors: Legends 3DS Cheats and Tips

Instead of having Achievements or Trophies this game has medals. There are three tiers of medals (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) and once unlocked can be viewed in the 'Gallery' menu. Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding medal.

A Hundred Years Ahead (Bronze):

In one battle, defeat 100 or more enemies with Special Attacks

A Sea-cret to Everybody (Gold):

Found ALL secret elements on the Great Sea Map

A Secret to Everybody (Gold):

Found ALL secret elements on the Adventure Map

Bug Catcher (Silver):

Defeated 100 Gold Skulltulas

Connected Master Worlds (Silver):

Cleared the Master Quest Map

Connected Seas (Silver):

Completed the Great S..

In Adventure mode you will be able to find fairies in yellow jars at enemy keeps. When you set them free they will become companions and help you in battle.

Although there are multiple weapons and weapon types a character can have you will need to unlock the Smithy to power them up. This is of course unless you find them on the battlefield. The Smithy option will unlock after a few missions in Legend mode.

If you have purchased Hyrule Warriors Legends will be able to transfer the new characters to Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U.

When you complete Legend mode the 'Hero' option on the difficulty setting of the individual scenarios will become unlocked. Hero mode has increased battle difficulty and you will earn better item rewards.

Get the following Rental Skills by raising a fairy's personality to the indicated amount.

Fill Special Attack (Bronze):

If you press any button except A when an Adventure mode is loading you will be able to play notes on an ocarina. Pressing your control-stick Up or Down will add vibrato to the note and you can continue to do this until A is pressed. When A has been pressed the mission will begin.

If you are playing Linkle and she is armed with any crossbow weapon you can make her raise her weapon in the air and sing the 'get item' melody from the Zelda series. This is done by emptying her chargeable meter and pressing 'Strong Attack'.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding character will become unlocked.

Agitha:

Complete the Adventure mode stage at coordinates G, 4 after using a Water Bomb on the rock in the water while searching.

Cia:

Complete the Legend mode Stage 'Grand Finale - Liberation of the Triforce'.

Darunia:

Complete the Legend mode Stage 'Ocarina of Time - Land of Myth'.

Fi:

Complete the Legend mode Stage 'Skyward Sword - Land in the Sky'.

Ganondorf:

Complete the Legend mode Stage 'Epilogue - Shining Beacon'.

Ghirahim:

Complete the Adventure mode stage at coordinates C, 7 after using a Candle on the topmost of the five trees in a single row in the ..

Complete the specified mission to unlock the corresponding new map. These maps will contain new missions and new rewards, including weapon upgrades for ALL characters.

Rewards Map:

Complete any of the Golden Skulltula pictures. (New missions unlock within for each picture completed)

The Great Sea Map:

Clear Adventure Quest mission 'Defeat the Dark Ruler' on space A-6.

Gold Skullutlas can be found around the world and they will drop illustration pieces when you defeat them. When you complete illustrations you will be rewarded with bonuses, there are a total of 180 Gold Skullutulas and 9 illustrations.

Fairies will have one of five possible elements, these are Fire, Water, Lightning, Light, or Darknesss. Using a fairy with the same element of the stage will make their magic stronger.
