The Sims 4 is a single-player life sim game that was released in 2014 on various platforms including the PS4. The developers have included a number of cheats that can be used in the game and you'll find these Sims 4 cheats for PS 4 along with some helpful tips to help you get more money fast and other helpful things in the game.

Cheat Codes
During gameplay press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 to display the console window and press the X button on your controller to be able to type the 'testingcheats true' (without the quotes) command. When this process is completed successfully, you will see a message in the cheat console that says cheats are enabled. You can then input any of the cheats below into the cheat console to enable the corresponding effect in your game. Remember though that if you enable cheats it will prevent trophies from becoming unlocked.

Pick Helpful Traits
There are plenty of different traits that you can give your Sim in The Sims or PS4. The following traits are helpful for your Sim's emotional wellbeing. These are Active, Self-Assured, Ambitious, and Romantic.
Claim your Reward Lamps
Make sure you claim your Reward Lamps from EA. These are the rewards that EA introduced for registering The Sims 3 and any expansion packs. These are worth picking up as they will affect your Sims' emotions and personalities.
Earn Money from Recycling
In the Sims 4 you can earn money from recycling by buying the NanoTouch Touchless Trash Can for $1200. Whenever your Sims then throws something out each household member will earn $10.

The most money you will recieve in the The Sims 4 is by going down the following career paths.
- Astronaut Path: Interstellar smuggler - 14,868 Simoleons per week.
- Secret Agent Path: Triple agent - 12,875 Simoleons per week.

Learn Skills
Usually when a Sim does something in The Sims 4 they will also learn a new skill. Every skill has 10 levels and you can track your progress by keeping an eye on the learning indicator. Each time it fills the Sim will level up and open some new possibilities.

Career Cheats
Type the following cheats into cheat console to influence your Sim's working career. These cheat codes allow you to add a specified career, make your Sim quit their job, or give your Sim an instant promotion in their career.
To enable cheats on The Sims 4 on PS4 you open the cheat console by pressing L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 (all four shoulder buttons) on your controller. Once the cheat console appears at the top of the screen you must type in the 'testingcheats true' (without quotes) command and press 'Enter' on the onscreen keyboard. If you see a confirmation message for correct code entry you can input the codes below to enable the corresponding effect.
Adds the Career of your choice to the selected Sim:
Type careers.add_career into the cheat console, followed by the name of a career, e.g. Add_culinary.
Removes the specified Career from the selected Sim:
Type careers.remove_career, followed by the name of a career, e.g. Careers.remove_career writer.
Gives the selected Sim a promotion in the Career of your choice:
Type careers.promote into the cheat console, followed by the name of a career, e.g. Careers.promote business.

How to Enable the Cheat Console
To enable cheats on The Sims 4 on PS4 you open the cheat console and enter the testingcheats true command.
To access the cheat console you must press and L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 (all four shoulder buttons) on your controller. If you have done this correctly a thin box will appear at the top of the screen. This is the cheat console, you can select it by pressing the X button on your controller. It is here were you type testingcheats true, and press 'Enter' on the onscreen keyboard. If this process has been successfully completed a message will appear in the cheat console saying that cheats are enabled. Any of the cheats below can be added to the cheat console. If the cheat console disappears, just press and hold L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 on your controller to open it back up.
Money Cheats
In the Sims 4 you are going to need lots of Simoleaons to do the things you want in the game. Typing the following cheats at the cheat console will enable you to get a quick cash injection into your bank account.
- Get 50,000 Simoleons:
Type motherlode into the cheat console.
- Get 1,000 Simoleons:
Type kaching into the cheat console.
- Get 1,000 Simoleons:
Type rosebud into the cheat console.
- Change the total amount of Money you have to the number you enter:
Type money into the cheat console, followed by the amount you want.
- All Houses and Lots are made available for Free (Must be entered from the Neighborhood view):
Type Type FreeRealEstate on into the cheat console.
Build Mode Cheats
In build mode you can alter your house, buy and place furnishing, or if you prefere build you own house to your own specifications. Typing the cheats below into the cheat console will help you in what you decide to do.
- No Object Placement Rules. You will be able to place things closer together or even overlap them:
Type bb.moveobjects into the cheat console.
- Unlock all of the Furnishings you would normally have to unlock by playing the game:
Type bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement into the cheat console.
- Activate the Buy Debug Mode. This mode allows you to buy additional items that aren't normally available:
Type bb.showhiddenobjects into the cheat console.
- Allows you to Edit the Hospital, Police Station, and Science Lab. Note: You must have the Sims 4 'Get to Work' Expansion:
Type bb.enablefreebuild into the cheat console.
- Increases the Size of an Object:
Select an object, hold L2 + R2, and then press Up on the d-pad.
- Decreases the Size of an Object:
Select an object, hold L2 + R2, and then press Down on the d-pad.
- Add more Options to Manipulate your Roof:
Click the roof, then press shift + C.

| How to get twins |
You could do your sims whims, save up points and buy the fertility reward. It cost 3000 points but it allows you to have a higher chance of becoming fertile and having twins or triplets. Quicker fixes would be to download the MCC command center mod and control how many babies your sim has, this is a cheat way though. |

Yes, you can reset your sim. You hold the shift key, control key and, 'c' key down at once to bring down the bow. You type (without quotation marks around it) "testingcheats true" then it enter once it say that that it's enabled you hold the shift key down WHILE clicking on your sims. Then you find reset object or reset sim and click it. Your sim should be rest and perfectly fine. This has happen to me like three times now. I'm happy I know how to fix it now. I hope this helps!!! |
