Steep PlayStation 4 Cheats and Tips

To get the Shaked by the Bell achievement/trophy you must fly into and ring a village church bell while wingsuiting. The best place to attempt unlocking this is in the Tyrol section of the mountain. At the very bottom of the hill, you can find the village of Zweiselstein where there is village which has a church with a bell. Add a flag to this location using 'Right click' to drop a large green waypoint.

If you then use the small cliff nearby called Kleiner Kirchenkogel and jump off with your jumpsuit equipped you will be able to fly into the village and ring the church bell. All you need to do is try and maintain high altitude until the end of the run otherwise you will not have the distance you need. Take a look at the video below to see how it is done.

To get the Tour Guide achievement/trophy you need to find 149 Points of Interest in the Alps. Listed below are the locations where you can find each of them. It is recommended that you wait until you are Level 25 before you attempt this as you will then have access to the unlimited helicopter which will make it a lot easier.

Also, you can fast travel back to the start of a challenge without losing progress, but if you fast travel anywhere else it cancels it and you have to start again. Unless you are exploring you should take advantage of Steep's fast travel feature whenever possible to save time trudging through heavy snow to reach your destination. Fast travel comes in particularly useful when you are miles from anywhere when you are exploring and no new Mountain Stories or Challenges are showing up and you want to get back to previously visited drop zone.

There are plenty of areas to explore in Steep and you will be rewarded by finding new events and great places to try out new tricks. The best way to find these distant places is by paragliding or wingsuit flying from high up outside of events and by venturing off the beaten path and scoping all around using your binoculars.

Steep allows you to restart races almost instantaneously without being penalized so don't be afraid to quit mid-event if you feel things have gone badly and there is no point continuing because you have missed a jump or lost speed for whatever reason. If you have missed your markers there is no point wasting time on the run.

It is recommended that you use your first run on any given event to familiarize yourself with the course so you can figure out what the best route is for you to take according to the discipline. If you need to perform tricks then you will be looking out for the biggest jumps and if it is speed you will want to know how to get to the bottom with the quickest time.
