Introduction

This is my long review on: The Ledgend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This will include explinations on why you should buy this game (although you cannot buy it anymore from the shops but you probably could off of ebay.) The game starts you off as a lonley Kokori Boy without a guardian fairy. (which is really odd because every Kokori has a Guardian fairy) Until you are embarked an a great quest to save the outside land of hyrule from the evil lord Ganondorf. You get equipped with a sword and sheild and you are ready to go off on your 50+ hours gaming experience! I hope you will enjoy my in-depth review and will gain more knowledge on this game.

Graphics

The graphics are very high-standard for a Nintendo 64 game bt the game can be a little glitchy at times. The faces of the characters are well defined but the structural side of things could use a little touching up. Some of the characters and objects in motion are a little tacky. But still for a game console made in the 20th century the graphics are superb. The Sprites could use a little more defining but apart from that this game's graphics are really cool!

Sound

The sound effects are really good. I mean how cool is it to hear the neighing of a horse when you constantly stab it in the back of the head with an arrow? Animal cruelty aside, this games sound effets are great but some added sound could be added might I suggest that the monsters actually roar or something like that instead of an "oof" when you hit them with a megaton hammer? Anyway the sounds are nice and clear and can even make you laugh at some points.

Gameplay

In four words for the gameplay "straight to the point" this game has a well structured storyline. Which follows the journey of a troubled Kokori as he tries to: Rid the world from evil, find out about his past, go on quests, stab many, many things, destroy nine evil mideeders and sink to the bottom of a lake with boots with iron soles. If one or more of these things attarct you, you should buy this game. If none of these things attract you, buy this game anyway! Seriously though, if you are into Medevil-ish storylines you should buy this game.

Lastability

The lastability, hm, where do I begin? Well, this game goes for over 50 hours! It has a WIDE variety of sidequests all mushed into one massive quest! Seriously if you have done everything there is to do in this game there is always new little nooks and crannys that you can squeeze into. You can even just muck about on it making up your own story-mode!

Overall

A great game. Great graphics, great sound, great lastability, great storyline. In one whole word to sum up this great game of Zelda 64: Ocarina of time.... Great! I hope you enjoyed my review and that this has advanced your knowlege in this game!
