Change Camera Angles

In Red Dead Redemption 2 third-person is the default camera view. In most cases it works well but anytime ou are indoors, or looting locations it is more benefical to switch to first-person view as it will make picking up individual items and looking at things easier. First-person view will also make controlling horse-drawn carriages easier.


Loot Everything

Always take the time after every gunfight to wander around rifling through pockets of the corpses laying on the ground. You will see a hand-drawn X on your minimap indicating the location of every bad guy you can loot. When you loot houses make sure you check every cabinet, drawer, and chimney - especially the chimney as this is where people kept their valuables during the Wild West era.


Easy $30 in Opening Chapter

During the opening chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2 there are two gunfights that leave a lot of your enemies dead on the ground. Make sure during thoses scenes you ignore the people telling you to hurry up and loot every corpse you find. This should give you $30 in your pocket, all the ammo you can carry and a mostly full satchel.
