Is there any way to actually win?

On the Xbox One, I've played through 3 times on casual because I kept getting my ass kicked on the harder difficulties) and there seems to be no way to win the final battle... WTF? Yes, fallen heroes now re-spawn, but on or about the 5th game turn, the Cadence start beating on the un-healsble chalice and ignore the heroes.

We get that - the final battle and it's 11 waves ate pretty awkward in terms of total victory... It also does not help matters that the average time just to complete this final battle is more than two (2) hours!

The best advice that we can five you on this is to take your time here. Yeah, that is not exactly a special secret tactic or anything, but the thing about this particular battle is that it is the sort where you basically lose by attrition as the game slowly grinds away at you.

Pretty much every gamer we know who has completed the game says the same thing - take your time, try to make as few mistakes as you can manage, and conserve your condition as much as possible.
