To get past the shadow in act 3 you have to get invisible mode which is in the shopping cart mini game if you complete it you get the invisible mode and then go into the basement and get to the shadow then crouch and ta the you did it.

I beat the shipping cart, I went back and made sure and I just end up in the room with the shooting apples. But I still can’t get passed the shadow man.

So if you want invisibility in hello neighbor you need to beat the fear market that's all
