When you shoot ALL the Wildlife Photography photos this bright yellow sub-aquatic submarine will become unlocked. The Kraken is more maneuverable than the Submersible, it has a depth limit of 500ft before being crushed by the water pressure, instantly killing the occupant.

That is part of the story and missions - just keep doing them until you get the icon on the dock and hit it up to begin the mission and collection.
