Save

Make sure you remember to frequently save your progress, especially if you are full on energy and haven't done so for a few minutes.

Charge Shot

Make sure you remember to use the charge shot if you are struggling against bosses as it can deplete them of a quarter of their health per shot on lower levels.

Skill Trees

There are three skill trees and they each represent something different. The bottom skill tree focuses on attack, the middle skill tree is location based, and the top skill tree is utility and movement.

Upgrades

Whenever you see life and energy upgrades on the screen it is worth making the effort to track down their location and grab them.

Grinding

It is not necessary to grind but you always have the option to do it as most enemies will respawn if you move off the screen. If you are approaching the next level of your Experience bar you may want to consider grinding to reach it quicker.

Change Character Colour

You can change your characters colour by pressing Left, Right, Down, Up (3), A (jump button).
