::DAWNGUARD QUESTLINE::

- For starters, some people including myself have,
had problems with the content loading itself.
My advice is to shutdown your xbox and restart.
If the game tells you the content is loading,
or has loaded. Then it has.

-The problem is the markers and the dawnguard,
questline still may not begin. Mine took
5 hours of playtime until it appeared.
i do not know if there was an update or not,
but i did have my xbox off and then when i rebooted,
the content finally loaded. So thats my story and,
adivce.

1. DAWNGUARD

- Once the quest FINALLY pops up, you 
will see a new location on your map.
Simply follow the marker to the darklight tower.
it is a very simple trek, WEST of RIFTEN.

- Go inside the tower and speak to ISRAN,
He will inform you of whats going on.
He will also give you the CROSSBOW, which is 1337!
This will start the next part of the questline
awakening.

2.AWAKENING

- Isran will tell you of Dimhollow Crypt, things
are easier now that we have OUR map markers.
problem is dim hollow cave is hard to get to,
for NEW players. New players will have to circle
around one of SKYRIMS mountains most likely.

- Dim Hollow Crypt is South West of Dawnstar.
the trek is not to bad, maybe a twist and a turn.
It is also not very far.

- Once inside the crypt you will have your marker.
its real easy just battle the enemies and vampires.
Have some potions, decent gear, or play on NOVICE,
if your having trouble.

- Finally you will do battle with LOKIL, once 
you rid of him and his servants, there is a puzzle.

- First press the button, then its pretty easy.
you want all the PURPLE sconces LIT. So basically,
just keep pushing them until they are LIT, then go
on to the next one. This will cause a cutscene.
and you meet serena. This will Start the next quest.

3.BLOODLINE

- We are still in the Dim hollow crypt, so follow
the marker to the exit. Then we have to follow the marker
again to icewater jetty. Which is WAY NORTH. My advice 
from closest city is to start at Solitude and head North
west. Once again, this is an easy trek. You may even have
a better or closer marker point.

- Get in the boat, to fast travel to The Castle.
Once inside, speak to Harkon. and ACCEPT to become 
a vampire. He will then teach you the ways of the VAMPIRE.

3.1 - Vampire Info

- You can float or stay on the ground. The vampire has
its OWN PERK TREE WOW ! Drain blood from life forms,
to increase your VAMPIRE PERK LEVELS. You will, now
be a full fledged vampire. ALL The vampire perks,
come with it. 

Newer aspects; the form itself, the bat call power,
revert back to normal form, your eyes will change color.
you may drain life from foes, and summon undead. PLUS
the original vampire perks and negative perks !

And thats just the begining, as once again there is
an ENTIRE PERK TREE for the vampire alone.

- Once your done learning your new skills
the quest will complete, talk to harkon to start
the next quest.

4. The Blood Chalice

- Speak to Garon, he will bring you to the blood
chaliace, take it and fast travel or find , REDWATER DEN.
which is North West of Riften. 

- This is a SHACK location. North west of riften, and
also not to far from it.

- Once in the den you can talk or kill everything.
the choice is yours. Killing everything is an EASIER
approach and your best bet. So basically destroy ALL.
pick up the keys off the bodies, and most of all
follow the marker to the RED WATER SPRING.

- At the spring, two vampires with names, will
attack you. Despose of them any way you like.
then take the chalice to the spring and fill it.
Return to the Vampire castle with the chalice.

5. Prophet

- Speak to harkon at the castle, then he will
inform you to locate a moth priest.

- Speak to serena, she will tell you
to travel to the college of winterhold.
a map marker will appear so fast travel, to the 
college if you have the location, if not follow the
marker.

- Once inside the college go to the arcanenum. Once
again good thing we have our markers. Speak
to Urag-go-Shurb in the Arcaneum. He will
tell you of the moth priest possible location.

- Urag-go-shurb will give you another marker, which
is dragon's bridge. Fast travel or travel there. it is
an easy trek either way it is near the center of the entire
SKYRIM province. It is a LITTLE TOWN, and has the little town
icon.

- Before going to dragon bridge, you MAY want to feed
on a cattle or person at the castle volkithar. This will
ensure that people do not TRY and kill you. The reason for 
this is that people in SKYRIM fear and hate vampires.
It may make people hostile towards you. 

- At dragons bridge, talk to anyone there, even a Guard.
He/she will inform you that the moth priest headed down
the road south of the dragon bridge. So take the bridge
and head south. There will be no marker. So just look 
for the bridge, it has a dragons head on it. MAKE SURE
you are heading south from dragon bridge on your HUD compass
trust me it will help in case you get lost.

- Along the road you will find a murder scene.
Invesitgate the scene of the attack and you will
come across your map marker again. It should be on a 
vampire. Search his body and read his vampiric note.
The note will inform you of the moth priest location.
as well as a new map marker and new map location which
is Dim hollow cavern. Fast travel or Travel there.

- Dim hollow cavern is not to far south from where
we just were at the murder scene. So follow the road
south and eventually you will run into it. especially
if you have been paying attention to the marker.

- Once inside dim hollow, you will have to fight some 
enemies. Put things on novice if it is too hard. If you
want to play at a higher difficulty. You should have 
good and smith enhanced weapons. Some good gear for this 
ENTIRE quest line, is the Dawnguard set. You can get it
off the Dawnguard soldiers. Kill them or find some in
darklit tower where the dawnguard is based.

- Dawnguard armor is GREAT vs vampires. It has Mods
that increase damage vs vampires on weapons, as well as
mods that increases defenses and magic defenses. Overall
it is a great set of equipment and looks very neat.

- Follow your marker to the switch that will deactivate
the barrier the moth priest is held in. He will be hostile
Dispose of him until he is defeated yet not dead. 
Turn into vampire form and use vampires seduction on him.
Then turn him into a vampire and he will become your servant
or thrall. Follow the quest notes on screen as well. If your
confused still, it is rather a simple part of the quest.
Talk to him and tell him to go to the castle volkithar.
When you fast travel there, he will be there as well.

- Speak to harkon to inform him of your success.
Then get the moth priest to read the elder scroll.
this will complete the quest and start the scroll
scouting quest which is two parts.

6. Scroll Scouting

- Harkon will give and tell us about a bunch of
optional ways to find the next elder scroll which is the 
blood scroll.

- It is much easier and quicker, if you just speak
to our new companion who is right next to us, Serena.
She will tell us that her mother may have the scroll.
After a bit of talking no matter which option you choose.
The conversation will end up in conclusion of her mother,
and the elder scroll being somewhere in the castle courtyard.

- Follow serena and the marker outside the castle and around it,
you will eventually reach the castle courtyard.

- The Moondial is the most confusing part of this whole entire
segment, for now at least. The Moon dial is missing some pieces.
Fortunately, they are all found in the courtyard where the 
moondial is as well.

- There are 3 pieces and they are hard to see, but they are
all located in the courtyard. one is by the death bells.
another once located in the corner near a puddle of water.
and finally the 3rd one is on top near one of the balcony entrances.

- Place all of these in the floor of the moondial. This will activate
the moondial and open up a path down to the deepest part of the castle.
Thankfully markers will appear again back on the screen. This will
lead us to our destination. Fight your way through armies, of Gargoyles
and skeletons. 

- There is a chain that can be pulled behind a living gargoyle,
pull it and this will OPEN a hidden area to the LEFT, which will
allow us to progress through the dungeon, eventually leading, to
Serenas mothers chambers.

- Once in the chambers we learn of Serenas mother VALERICA. we must
find her journal which is located in the area we are in now. Search 
the book shelf, the book is red and is easy to find. Read
the book and keep it if you would like, the next quest marker
will pop up and we need to gather some ingredients. to enter
the SOUL CARIN.

- all the ingredients including the ground bone meal, can 
be found in the current area. Hopefully you will have a torch
or two, this will make things much easier and brighter. Gather
all of the ingredients and put them inside the basin that the 
marker is showing to us. This will open the way to the soul carin.

- Once again once in the SOUL CARIN, follow the marker to Valerica.
Valerica ,Serenas mother will be in a magical barrier. The only way
to break it down, is to degeat the 3 keepers.

- The 3 keepers are easy on novice and count as undead, if you
have the famous dawnbreaker from skyrim main content, this is
easy and a sinch. Even at high difficulty levels. If not,
I suggest playing on novice because these guys can be tough!

- Good thing is there are markers for each of them, follow the
markers and destroy 2 of them. ONE of them you will have to enter
a portal of sorts, that will lead us to the top of one of the Soul,
carin towers. The FINAL keeper will be up there, destroy him.
Then take the portal back down. Follow your marker all the way
back to Valerica.

- Valerica will tell you of a dragon that may pose a problem.
Follow valerica inside the door and go in. The dragon she told 
us about is inside, Durvenkil is his name and he is an undead 
dragon of sorts. He looks real cool and is rather tough, as 
he summons undead knights and skeletons.

- Good thing for us we have the power of novice difficulty
if he gets to hard. Also the dawnbreaker will take him out 
easy , as he is considered undead. Combine that with the 
explosions from destroying his undead summons, this makes
for a very simple battle.

- Once the Dragon is slayed, Valerica tells us he might return.
Ignore that for now and take the elder scroll. We can now leave.
On our way out we will meet the dragon, who just talks to you
and gives you a NEW power word, TWO to be exact, we will get into
those in the NEW SHOUT content section of this guide.

6.2 Scroll Scouting

- MAJOR problem, if your starting a new game, we will have
to get the Dragon elder scroll AGAIN. Which means talking 
Urag-go-Shurb, Reading his book in arcaneum. Following
the marker to septimum signis outpost. Talking to Septimus.

- Learn of Aftland location, travel all the way to Aftland.
Destroy everything in the dungeon, or run through like mad.
We want to get this over with. Follow your marker and remember
the first level of the Dungeon you must JUMP over the pipes.
Don't forget that.

- Another note there will be a lever that you is beyond the 
gate, you can still hit it though, just hit the lever and
then walk through the now open gate.

- Follow your marker all the way To the room with the lexicon.
Place the lexicon where the marker states.

- THERE WILL BE 4 switches. ONLY TWO will light up.
hit the left one 4 times. This will open up the OTHER
two switches. One is on the LEFT and other on the RIGHT.
hit the right one 2 times. then finally the final left one
once. This will reveal the Elder Scroll DRAGON.

7. Seeking Closure

- Go back to Castle Volkithar, speak to dexion the
moth priest who is now blind. he will tell you he went
blind from reading the elder scroll. He can read them
no longer.

- Then he will tell you there is a way to read the others,
this will close the seeking closure quest, as well as chasing
echoes and finally beyond death.  Start UNSEEN VISIONS.

8. Unseen Visions

- This one is easy and is all marker based, the only
difficult part is if you encounter, a "problem" at the 
end of the quest.

- Follow the marker to ancestor glade. Go inside,
Go to marker which will hold the MOTH priest knife.
take the knife and carve a nearby tree with a marker on
it. Then look for moth swarms, you must find 7 of them.
this is easy as there are lots of swarms, walk in to them
and make sure the quest keeps popping up. Do this until
you have 7 swarms. Finally stand in the column of light
and read the elder scroll.

- You will then have to speak to serena. Serena MAY
be inside the closed gate, and dawnguard may appear as well.
IF you can NOT talk to her, kill all the dawnguard from outside
the glitched gate. THIS HAPPENED TO ME. YOU may only have to
speak to Serenea and finish the quest.

- After speaking to her, the gate will open, complete the quest.
Then TOUCHING THE SKY quest will begin.

9. Touching the Sky

- This is a really long one but luckily, we do have some
markers to start with at least. SO ! go to Dark Fall cavern.
There will be a marker for this and it's simple to get to.

- Once in the cavern, you will come across a bridge. The bridge
will fall on your second pass of it. Keep exploring, until you
find a dead body. Read the note on the dead body if you please.
Be prepared to fight some trolls. It's pretty simple there are only
2-3 trolls. Keep heading through the cavern, until you see what 
looks, like and IS a SNOW ELF !

- Wow ! Ok, speak to this snow elf, he will tell you
about Auriel's bow and Divine akatosh and more interesting story
motivators. After the conversation he will be explaning what you
need to do, to aqcuire the bow. We have to collect 5 basins of
water. They are scattered across, darkfall passage and forgotten vale.
The Snow Elf will open the way go inside to darkfall passage on your
marker.

- Ok this part has NO marker as of right now, Explore the whole
area if you have to, KILL all the falmer if you have to. I suggest
playing on novice as falmer are hard. KEEP checking your map,
to make sure you are NOT going in circles and wasting time.
Once again looking for uncovered areas and paths if your lost.
We are ultimately looking for another Shrine of Auriel, like
the one we have just seen in Dark fall cavern. Once this is found
take the basin and fill it with water. This will open up
a passage to the Forgotten vale, where we will now have an easier
time because finally the Markers RETURN !

- There will be 4 basins left, you can choose to follow your 
marks. You may also teleport back to darkfall passage, which i DO
NOT recomend thanks to -- (ZANEX990) Because it may confuse
you.

- You may use the portal to travel to other areas of the vale.
Like the shrine of resoultion or the shrine of learning. This
MAY speed up the process if you MISSED a certain marker.

- There will be 2 dragon fights here, they both come at once
near one of the shrines. Take them down, they drop basic dragon
drops nothing special. 

- Once all 5 basins are filled You will gain entrance to 
the inner sanctum. You may fast travel back to one of the shrines.
The Final shrine is near the inner sanctum. The marker will then
pop up as well, so just follow it into the sanctum.

- The Sanctum is more of a combat based area, rather then an
exploration based area. Keep eye on marker, and be prepared
to fight some nasty falmers. Have potions, health, magicka,
stamina and more. Resist cold is a MAJOR HELP as well.
All in all, working your way through the sanctum is easy enough.
you will then find Geleb the Snow elf's EVIL vampiric brother.

- This evil snow elf, will have you do MORE battles, 3 rounds of
them with falmer, charus and more. Then you will finally do battle
with him near the Auriel's Bow chamber. Once again, resist frost for
the save. Fire attacks for the kill and FTW !

- You will finally net that awesome looking SNOW ELF gear and 
continue to follow your quest tips and eventually aqcuire the
Auriel Bow.

- The Auriel bow can shoot ANY arrow and it deals 20 points
SUN damage and extra vs undead. Which ROCKS ! It also looks uber 
cool. But that's not all, It also can shoot sun hallowed arrows !
These arrows explode into a burst of sunlight, setting undead on
fire and dealing extra damage, aside from looking awesome. Thats
still not all ! If a sun hallowed arrow is fired at the sun, It will
start raining BOLTS of holy sunlight down on foes. Truly an amazing
weapon created by the MASTERS at Bethesda.

- To get more of these arrows, give ELVEN arrows, to Geleb
the Snow elf, for every 20 arrows he will give you 20 sun 
arrows. You may return to him via FAST travel at anytime.

10. Kindered Judgement

- This is easy and is basically the end of the story line
for dawnguard. As well as the "final boss battle". Just 
fast travel back to the castle, follow your marker to 
Harkon.

- Use Auriel's bow and destroy his gargoyles, skeleton summons
and more. He teleports and recharges health so be careful. Sun
hallowed arrows do the most damage and are GREAT vs him. Try not
to MISS. If you do i suggest lower difficulty because he CAN 
Destroy you, even in vampire form at high levels.

- Once he is dead, you may pick up some of the following, items
off his body. The blood potion which can now be found. This potion
is similar to feeding for a vampire.

- Harkons blade, Drains 15-15-15 magicka,health,stamina from
the target and gives it to you. UBER ! it is also a short katana.
you will also get the vampire royal armor, if you have not picked
it up at Valericas tower already.

- The game will then continue after as there is still more to 
do. Although this completes the dawnguard story questline.


:::: JOINING DAWNGUARD :::::

3. Bloodline

- I start at quest number 3 because obviously, quests 1 and 2 are
the same regardless. At the end of quest number 3 CHOOSE to NOT
become a vampire, then leave or attempt to leave the castle.
Things will fade to black, you will awaken outside the castle.

4. A NEW ORDER

- Travel back to fort dawnguard, by following your markers.
you will notice, it is under attack by some vampires. Destroy
them all with your fellow new dawnguard friends.

- After the Battle talk to Isran, the quest will continue,
you will have to recruit 2 new members into dawnguard.

- This is easy as of course we have the markers, First go
to recruit Jurard the women, who is near draudach redoubt.
it is little bit east from there. She is going to ask you
for some help but if you persuade her she will just come along
with you. If not follow the marker and complete her little task.

- Recruting Gunmar, follow the marker to gunmar's location.
Tell him about Isran needing his help, then take him up
on his offer to defeat a bear in the nearby cave. Follow the marker
Destroy the bear then talk to Gunmar and he will head to Dawnguard.

- Head back to the fort, talk to isran, after his speech the quest 
will end.

5. PROPHET

- Follow Isran by reading your marker, he wil lead you to 
Serena the daughter of harkon who is in the vampire fort.

- After your done with serena talk to Isran again.

5.1- PREMPTIVE STRIKE

- Talk to Gunthar and listen to what he says about trolls.
he will ask you to do and pick up a few items in order
to get assistence from his trained troll. Once this is
accomplished you may have an armored troll companion in battle.

5. PROPHET

- Continue just as we did in the vampire questline. We must
locate a moth priest. Go to the college of winterhold, talk to
urag -go-shrub. He will then tell you to travel to dragon bridge.

- Again, If you have done this before, travel along the road
south of dragon bridge. Investigate the scene of attack. Go
to the dead vampire body and read the note. A new marker will
appear check your map, and locate Forebears hideout. Fast travel
there or to the location closest to it on your map.

- Once in forebears hideout, destroy all and leave nothing to
hinder your journey to the moth priest. Pick up the weystone 
focus after killing the vampire leader malkus. Place it in the
weystone source this will deactivate the barrier and let loose,
a hostile moth priest. Defeat him, then talk to him about the
elder scroll. Tell the moth priest to meet you at Dawnguard Fort.
Then Return is Isran to complete the quest.

6. Scroll Scouting

- Refer to the vampire section above for the scroll scouting 
quest.

7. Beyond Death

 This is basically the chasing echoes quest, refer to that
section of the guide. At the end you will slay durenvir the
bone dragon. Then talk to serena's mother who will give you the
elder scroll. This will complete scroll scouting, if you have both
the dragon and blood scrolls. It will also complete the beyond death
quest.

7.1 Bolstering the Ranks

- We want to find A "crazy" priest of arkay, who is named,
florentine. Isran needs his help, he will give you the new
location on your map. Find florentine, who will be locked in
a cage. Destroy the enemies around you and one of the enemies
will have the key. Unlock the gate and talk to florentine.
He will eventually decide to  go to fort dawnguard. This
will complete the quest.

- This will lead to ganing the rune Hammer weapon.

8. Seeking Disclosure

- talk to the moth priest at fort dawnguard, tell him you have
both elder scrolls. He is now blind from reading the first one.
This will start the next quest unseen visions.

11. Kindered Judgment

- The Final Quest for the Dawnguard, is the same as the final
quest for the vampires. We must slay harkon. So do exactly that
go to castle volkithar and destroy him. I do not want to spoil
the ending for you, so i hope you all enjoyed the walkthrough !




:::::SIDE QUESTS::::

1. Lost to the Ages

- Wow is this quest hard ! there are NO MAP MARKERS!
at least there were NONE for me. So i will explain 
the locations and what to do, even starting this quest,
is difficult to do.

- So you might know redwater den, from the dawnguard
main questline. If you do, then go there. if you don't
its west of riften.

- In the cell chamber,NOT the room where all the addicts
are. The CELL CHAMBER which is a floor below. There is a book
around there on a desk or table of sorts. PICK UP that book
read it and it will start the quest as a MISC quest, telling
you to travel to Arkghthamdz.

- Do exactly that and travel to Arkghthmadz. Go inside
and meet Katria.  Quest info will pop up to reach the 
summit. OPTIONAL BUT VERY IMPORTANT. Pick up katria's
journel off her body. This is the only guide we have
since there are no markers. 

- Akghthmadz holds the first piece of the Aetherium 
pieces. Head down make sure to keep checking your map,
and look at the tonal device page, at least once or twice.

- Once you reach the tonal device, you must hit the spinners
I suggest arrows. Some should be locally found. Shoot the 
devices in this order. BOTTOM LEFT, BOTTOM RIGHT, TOP LEFT
TOP RIGHT, MIDDLE. I MIGHT be wrong, but this puzzle is a 
QUICK trial and error.

- After the tonal device is solved you will get the first
Aetherium piece, which starts the Aetherium hunt.

- NEXT LOCATIONS

- Mzluft

- South EAST of WINDHELM.

- RALDABAR

South West of WINDHELM

- DEEP FOLK CROSSING

- Around MARKARTH area NORTH WEST
of Arkanthamdz. and directly north west of 
Btharadamz, the dwarven ruins with the INEFECTED 
enemies.

- RUIN OF BZLAFT

- FORGE AND FINAL LOCATION !

OK ! this can be really confusing, so i have a video

This is just a MAP of the locations, to make it 
easier for the player.

- FINALLY ! in the forge, destroy all the enemies.
Then use the FORGE ! wow Finally . The Reward is well
well worth it ! and ALL the materials are located
in the area your in right now so don't worry !
I will NOT Spoil it for you how awesome the rewards are
congratulations on a heck of a hard quest.

2. Impatience of a Saint

- Wow NO MARKERS once again. To start this quest you will 
Have to talk to Jiub.  It is very hard to depict, where to
go if you have been to Soul carin before, you would, 
understand. So i made a few tips up.

- To find Jiub there will be another soul and some oxen,
not to far off from where he is. He is sitting down
indian style near which looks like a pile of rocks, setup
for a possible fire camp.

- Once you talk to Jiub the quest will begin. Hopefully
you have already ran into some notes.

- the 10 ! yes TEN notes are scatterd all through the Carin.
I will give you exact locations, as well as general area specific
ideas.

- Durvenir, Near the Boneyard Near his Chest NOTE#2
- The Merchant on a barrel- #10
- The Candle lit Shrine
- Chests, alot of them are right near some chests
- finally the rest are in open shrine lit areas.

- I am not going much into depth, because the soul carin
has no markers at all, you would need a visual. Best advice
honestly is to explore the whole thing, seeking landmarks
or big obvious places.

- Remember, Chests,shrines,durenvir,the barrel merchant, and candles.

- The Reward is not really worth it. Sain Jiubs locket and his 
book which only has High sell value. The Amulet is decent, It
gives 50 carrying capacity + 50 to stamina.


3. The Vampires Secondary Quest lines.

- These quests are ALL based around your perk tree. The more
perks you have aqcuired will allow you to get the following
"worth it" quests.

- The Blood Rings Quests
- The Amulets Quests
- The Chalice Quests

- The Catch is that you must or may have to complete some random 
quests in between, such as deceiving the herd, the hunt, protecting
the blood line etc.

- talk to the other vampires in the castle, for more information 
if need be. It is really easy to accomplish. Once again LEVEL your
vampire perks, that is the whole point of the boring quests. The 
quicker you level, the quicker you will get the good quests.

- Also, after you complete these 3 quests, The other quests, will
just continue to circle, even at full vampire potential.

4. Rising at Dawn

- this quest will heal your vampirism.

::::::: NEW GEAR ::::::::

1. Crossbow

- The crossbow is an entire NEW weapon for Dawnguard DLC.
although it falls under bow catergory for your perks. It 
can be found as a gift from Isran, for starting the dawnguard
questline. You can also find more as a vampire when you defeat
dawnguard guards. It fires with great accuracy, but has slow 
reload time. The Damage is actually quite good as well.

2. Dwarven Crossbow

- Same thing as the crossbow, except dwarven and obviously more
powerful. There is also an enhanced version, both of these can be 
leveled up at a smithy and enchanted or even poisoned. Get these
from completing the main quest line as a DAWNGUARD. do NOT become
a vampire.

3. Auriel's Bow

- NOW WERE TALKING ! This is probably the best item, or 
most talked about item in the DLC Dawnguard. It really rocks.

- This bow does 20 points of sun damage as a base. YET it does
triple that to the undead. Add that ontop of your base arrow damage.

- Also, you may used sun hallowed arrows on it, that when they hit an
enemy it causes an explosion of light that envelops around enemies.
To get sun hallowed arrows. Find elven arrows first, then talk to Geleb
the snow elf, and he will make these for you with the elven arrows.
you need at least 20 elven arrows.

- Further analysis indicates, that when a sun hallowed arrow is SHOT
at the SUN. Light will start beaming down from out of the sky, doing
damage to every enemy it strikes.

- Still want more? take 20 elven arrows to Serena, and have her make
you blood cursed arrows, shoots those at the sky and you will destroy
the sun for a day. Letting you roam freely and powerfully as a vampire.

- Finally this item is acquired at the end of the dawnguard VAMPIRE
questline. So i suggest completing it by following this guide, As fast
as possible to get this amazing piece of gear.

4. Dragon Bone weapons

- The player may now FORGE dragon weapons from the forge
various types are included and they obviously take dragon scales
and bones to complete among other items.

5. Shellbug helmet

- A sort of MISC helmet that can be made, with the MISC option at
a blacksmith forge. It offers good defense, and looks like clavicus
viles mask, except with color. It's more of an easter egg then anything
else.

6. Aetherial Crown 

- Wow! this item rocks ! It looks amazing has great defense, and doubles
your current standing stone ability. For example if you have the mage stone,
magicka regenerates at 20% faster rate. So with the Aetherial crown, it will
regenerate magicka at a 40% faster rate, so in a nut shell it doubles standing
stone abilities.

- It can also be smithed, and even enhacnted with the right perks. You
can find this item at the end of the very challenging, lost to the ages
quest.

7. Aetherial Shield

- Really awesome looking dwarven shield with the aetherial glow on
various parts of the shield. Not to mention an incredibly cool 
modification.

- This shield when successful block goes into affect, will
turn an enemy Ethreal for a short while, leaving them unable
to attack, but also unable to hit you as well.

8. Aetherial Staff

- Really cool looking, but my least favorite despite how
powerful it is. This bad boy, summons a Dwarven Sphere, and or
dwarven spider worker to your side for 60 seconds.

9. Dawn Guard Light Armor Set

- Comes Complete with armor, boots, gloves, and helmet
all LIGHTWEIGHT. looks awesome, can be upgraded.
Modicfications on these has a 25% less VS vampires.
Vampire soul drain has less of an effect on those FULLY armed
with the whole set. That is the only way to get the bonuses.

10. DawnGuard Heavy Armor set

- You need the full set, Armor,gloves,boots,helmet to get 
the bonus modifications. Which are similar or the same to the 
light weight set.

-25% less damage vs vampire attacks and drain life spells while
wearing the entire heavy armor dawnguard set.

11. Dawnguard Heavy Shield

- Get these as well as every piece of the dawnguard, equipment.
Off of dawnguard soliders and or by joining the dawnguard over
the vampires.

- This shield offers a +10 to bash attacks VS Vampires.

12. BoneHawk amulet

- These are found all over the dawnguard content. One for sure
is in castle volkithar. They look cool , but have no current
modifications. I am suggesting they are to be used as enchanted
gear with a unique look.

13. BoneHawk ring

- These are found all over the dawnguard content. One for sure
is in castle volkithar. They look cool , but have no current
modifications. I am suggesting they are to be used as enchanted
gear with a unique look.

14. Harkons Blade

- Kill harkon to get this one, at the end of the vampire
questline of dawnguard DLC.

- It is a short katana, looks awesome with a nice golden
hilt. It glows red and has the following awesome modifications.

- It will absorb 15 health, 15 magicka and 15 stamina, off
of ANY target ONLY when weiled by a vampire. Really powerful
does not eat much stamina, and can be variously upgraded.

15. Vampire Armor set.

- These are found all over the content off of vampires.
- Comes in Red,white,black,blue. Decent lightweight armor.
good when enhancted comes with boots and CLAWED gloves when
the set is complete.

16. Royal Vampire Armor

- Magicka rengerates 125% faster, PLUS looks diffrent
and has cape when worn. Find this one in Valerica's study
or off of the final vampire battle. Against Harkon demon 
vampire king himself.

17. Snow Elf, Or ancient Falmer Set

- Comes with Torso Armor, Gloves and Boots NO Helmet.

- No modifications, besides that it can be enchanted
and worked with at a forge to enhance defenses. No 
weapon or helmet of snow elf origin has been discovered
yet.

- Looks awesome, get it by beating a snow elf at the end
of the DLC vampire side content.

18. Locket of Saint Jiub

+50 stamina
+50 carrying capactiy

- Complete the Impatience of a saint quest to receive this one
off Jiub the saint.

19. Ring Of Erudite

- Complete the blood magic rings, quest after the dawnguard questline.
Talk to the vampires and keep completing thier quests. This one should
appear after your vampire has enough of the required perks. So my advice
is to use your vampire often during these side quests and level him fast!

Ring Of Erudite
- 100 Magicka +
- Magicka regenerates faster

20. Ring of the Beast

- This is the second ring you aqcuire from the blood rings quest.
They are both easy to locate, in caves and one is on a ship. Just
follow your map markers.

Ring of the Beast
- + 100 health
- Claw attacks do 20 hit points more damage

21. Auriel's Shield

 Another GODLY item, this one is very powerful and hard to get.
I hope you kept your water basin.

- First go to the Forgotten vale, fast travel there.

- once There go to the shrine of radiance. Enter the inner sanctum.
To the back left of the room, is a pillar activate it with the water,
basin. Kill the giant inside and pick up the RUBY paragon.

- Now we want to head back to the teleporter. Go to the shrine
of resoulution. Make your first left and drop over the moutain.
Look for another large structure. There will be a device to place
the ruby paragon. Place it and go inside the ruby portal.

- Once inside follow the narrow path there will be a lone
falmer. Destroy this falmer, and he will drop Auriel's shield
among other common items.

- This shield stores energy from blocked attacks, When a power
bash is performed it releases those energies to a powerful
sun attack. 

22. Amulet Of The Gargoyle

- Receive this amulet from the amulets of the night quest, which is
explanied in the side quest section of this guide.

- This amulet will let you cast 2 gargoyles for the price of one
in vampire lord form only.

23. Amulet of Bats

- Same as gargoyle it can be won, in amulets of night quest.

- When using your bats power, the bats will leech health off
of nearby foes and give it to your avatar.

24. Enhanced Crossbow

- After the "new order" quest, talk to Sorine a member of the 
dawnguard in the fort dawnguard. She will tell you of ancient
schematics by dwarves. Thus The Ancient Technology quest will begin.
This quest will lead to the Enhanced crossbow being a part of your
arsenal.

25. Rune Hammer

- This hammer can place a fire rune on the ground, as well
as doing fire damage with regular attacks REALLY AWESOME !

- find it off florentine from completing the bolstering the
ranks quests.

26. Zephyr Bow

- Found in Arkanthamdz near a tree log, walk across the log 
and pick it up. Awesome mod it shoots 30% faster then a normal 
bow.

:::: NEW SPELLS :::

- Necromantic Healing

- this will heal a vampiric undead ally 
when pointed at them over a period of time. 


- Heal Undead

- This will heal your undead allies, such as skeletons
zombies and other summons yes even warthmen.

- Conjure Boneman

Conjures a bone man archers, this can be found on an altar
in the Soul Carin.

- Conjure Mistman

Summons a skeleton shoruded in mist which looks cool, this is 
an Adept level summon and is more powerful then boneman. It 
can also be found in the Soul carin.

- Conjure Wrathman

EXPERT version of the soul carin summon skeletal spells.
this can be found obviously in the soul cairin and well.
It summons forth a very powerful skeletal ally. It may be healed
with the Heal undead spell.


::::::: NEW PERKS ::::::::


** VAMPIRE **

- The Vampire is really an all new power, or transformation.
Very similar to the werewolf, except with diffrent stats and 
attributes , as well as a personal skill tree.

- The vampire has many spells at his disposal
whether you are in human form or more importantly,
vampire form.

- Human Form Spells
1. Vampires Seduction -  Charms an enemy to bend to your will.
This one is great if your planning on feeding. Use this to feed,
and or turn NPC into a vampire when needed.

2. Vampires Servant- This is another charm, except you can
CONTROL an npc and tell them where to go. They will serve you,
fight with you and you can feed on them if you would like as 
well.

3. Vampiric Drain 
- Use this to drain health from enemies and give it to yourself.

4. Raise dead
- Raises a dead enemy or npc to fight for you.

5. Vampire Lord
- Turns you into a full fledged vampire

- Active Effects

1. Champion of the Night

- Illusion spells cost 25% less to cast

2. Blood Stone Chalice

- Vampires drain, drains stamina and magick in addition
to health.

3. There are more of these active effects, but none to,
important, such as resist frost, diease, they are good
except it is old vampire content. This is dawnguard.

!!!!!!VAMPIRE PERK TREE!!!!!

1. Power of the Grave

- Increases Health Magic and Stamina + 50

2. Detect all creatures

- Detects all creatures with a blue hue, even automatons.

3. Mist Form

-Turn into invulnerable mist, while stamina magic and
health regenerate.

4. Supernatural Reflexs

- This slows down everyone and everything, except for, your
character. Personally i still felt he was slow as well.
Although you are still fast enough for it to be overpowered.

5. BATS

- You start with this ability, it is a teleport of 
sorts. With the amulet of bats, any enemy touched
will result in regained health to your avatar.

6. Raise dead

- You start as a vampire lord with this ability.
raises an undead ally to fight for you.

7. Vampiric Grip

- This one is great, it is like darth vaders choke
spell. Also a sort of telekinesis from bioshock and other
games with a telekinetic spell. You can launch your enemy
into the air, a real far ways. This is great for crowd
control.

8. Summon Gargoyle

- Summon a very powerful gargoyle to fight for you. It cost
low mana and even less mana with the unearthly will perk. It
is very strong and with the amulet of the gargoyle you may cast
2 for one spell cost. 

9. Corspe Curse

- Paralyze just about any target for about 10 seconds.
We all know how powerful, paralyze target is in this game.
Imagine it at a low mana cost. Once again, great for Large
enemies and it can paralyze Giants.

10. Unearthly Will

- 33% less cost to Night and blood ablities. Which is
basically everything in a nutshell. So it lowers mana
cost by 33% if your confused, For vampire lord only.

11. Blood healing

- Holding the power attack button when enemies HP is low,
will perform a bite attack, which can increase your perk
rate. With the blood healing perk, when this action is performed
you will regain ALL of your health as well.

12. Poison Talons

- This makes your talons do lingering poison damage.
poisons target + 20 points of poison damage, on top
of base damage. Then going into a vampire bite after this
is really sweet. Also melee lets your mana recharge.

13. Night Cloak

- Bats will surround you permanately. The bats
will restore health and damage enemies within melee range.
This ability not only looks cool, but is the most powerful
perk in the game, and may stack with the amulet of bats.

**EXTRA**

-A vampire also has the basic drain ability, you need to either
kill an enemy with the drain, or bite power attack to increase
your perks in the vampire perk tree.

- In Human vampire form, you also have the vampiric drain,
which will let you drain life from foes. This is in human
form only.


*** WEREWOLF PERKS ****

- Beastial Strength

4 levels, each level incresaes your melee strikes
by 25% for a total of 100% or double damage over base damage.

- Totem of ice brothers

- Summons an ice were wolf to fight by your side.

- totem of the moon

- Summons an ally werewolf to fight along side with you.

- totem of terror

effects your howl of terror, with this totem activated
it will become stronger ( howl of terror)

- Totem of the predator

Basically a detect or illusion spell, lets you see
what enemies are doing/ located. It also increases
the effect of your other totems.

- Animal Vigor

100 point bounus to health and stamina in beast form

- savage feeding

- Lets you feed off the undead, and refills half health 
per feeding, also extends beast time.

- Gorging

While Feeding you increase health twice as much.

BONUS

The Totems Of Hircine

After joining the companions talk to aela, she will tell you
about the totems of hircine, you must have werewolf ability for
these quests to begin. Quests locations are randomly generated 
so just follow your markers.


These totems give you a special ability when in wolf form.

Totem of brotherhood allows you to summon red spirit wolves
2 of them and they look uber cool, and are very powerful.

Totem of the hunt gives you the detect life ability.


::::: BONUS :::::::::

1.Shirne oF Auriel 

- This is in dark fall cave, which is all the way
north west of skyrim. and SOUTH WEST of Dawnguard
quest line ICE WATER JETTY. So remember Darkfall 
cave. 

- Once you find it, go in find the bridge
when you travel back over the bridge it will break.
Get out a TORCH. Make your way through unexplored 
areas. Check your mini map often. There will be 
TROLLS. Take them out, use fire especially. Once 
they are gone, you will eventually find your way,
to the Shirine of Auriel.

- NEW PERK !

-The Blessing of Auriel will Grant you +10% damage
to your BOW attacks. Obviously this includes the new
Crossbow.

as well as cure dieases and heal all wounds.


2. NEW HORSE ! Arvak !

- There is a MISC quest where you must give arvak his skull back.
the skull can be found in the soul carin, The Soul Carin is HUGE
and there are no fast travel's or markers. So my advice is to 
get out there and explore !

- If you find the skull the quest will pop up. Bring it back
to arvak who is also in the soul carin. He will then give you 
this spell. Which allows you to summon Arvak his horse.
You may summon Arvak in Tamriel or the Soul carin.

3. BloodStone Chalice

- After doing the Chalice quest for the main dawnguard questline.
You will notice that the chalice is in the main hall of the castle.
To your right in an open room on the table, lies the chalice.
When you drink from it you will receive a new perk or active effect.

- NEW PERK !

- The Power of drinking from the chalice will let your vampire,
drain attack, drain magic and stamina. In addition if you complete
the ancient power quests, which is part of the secondary questline.
It will make the effect last longer up to 5 days !

4. The Reaper

- The reaper can be found in the Soul Carin. He has his own
personal area. Go thorugh his door. To activate his presence you
must collect 4 reaper shards. They are scatterd all over Soul Carin
mainly in the chests.

- Defeating the reaper rewards you with 3 black soulgems, among
some other common drops. It's up to you if you need the soul gems
or not.
