1. Introduction
===============
Hi there people! This is my first ever FAQ so it might not be very good =[but I
gave it my best shot! I decided to write my guide for James Bond: Quantum of
Solace on the X-Box 360 because number 1. there wasn't already one for it.
2. Although its not the hardest of games I felt it had its challenging parts.
I wrote this guide whilst playing through the game on the 007 difficulty but
tried to write it so people playing through for the first time could use it
as well. Like I said, I don�t think this is the most challenging game in the
world but from browsing around on the internet I found that alot of people were
having problems. Anyway, its my first guide so feedback would be nice and if
you have anything to add or spot a mistake please don�t hesitate to contact me.

5.1. Whites Estate
==================
This mission is just 'a get to know the basics' mission really. Start off by
running down to the wall in front of you and taking cover. Pick up the SAF .45
and equip it. Take out the four guys in front of you and move slowly forwards.
Take cover behind the wall near the steps and kill the two men in front of you
who run out of the gate on your right. Once they're dead head to the gate they
came from and pick the lock. Head through the gate and take cover from the
gunfire from the boats. Once they've gone run down the steps and takedown the
guard. Once he�s finished with take cover behind the wall and kill the three
guys opposite. Once they are dead turn around and be ready for a guard to rush
out of the door. After he�s dealt with head over to the computers and hack
into the CCTV system. After this the doors to your right will slowly start to
open so head on out. Make your way to the entrance of the greenhouse and make
your way slowly in. The second you get flanked take cover on the left hand side
and look to your right were an enemy helicopter will appear. Fear not, you
don�t have to destroy it, just shoot the guy whos shooting at you. Once he�s
dead the helicopter will disappear and the guys who flanked you should have
aswell. Head on up the path and kill the lonely guard. Once you see the second
greenhouse, if your quick enough you can kill the guard. if not its just one
more to kill in the minute =P. Run towards the greenhouse and take cover on
the right hand side of it. Pick off all the enemies you can see then run to
cover behind the first flower bed thingy. Take out the remaining guys in front
of you from here until there is and explosion. After this head out of the
greenhouse and towards the mansion. Head up the right hand side and shoot the
guard on the balcony to open the cellar door. Jump down and take a breather.
Once in the cellar follow the path around until you can see a big open room.
Take cover behind the wall and wait for the guards to run into your line of
fire. You should be able to kill three or four. Once they are dead run down and
take cover behind the front set of barrels. Two guys should appear at the end
of the room so take them out and head towards the far end of the room. Run up
the steps and kill the guard at the top. Once he�s dead head up the next set of
steps and take cover behind the kitchen counter. Take out the two guards in the
dining room then take cover behind the table. From here you should be able to
kill the guy waiting to ambush you on the second floor. Then head out and take
cover behind one of the pillars at the foot of the stairs and kill the other
guy. Move up both sets of stairs and kill the guy who runs out the safe room.
Go up to the safe and open the secret door. head through it and hack into
White's computer.
The next bit is fairly simple. White had rigged his house to blow up so you
have to run like hell and kill him before he escapes. Run out the room and head
down the stairs ( don�t worry about killing the guards). Once you get to the
bottom of the stairs turn right and run through the destroyed wall. Take cover
immediately behind the plant pot and kill the two Elite guards Once they're
dead run out and shoot the helicopter until it starts swaying.
Congratulations! You've completed your first mission on 00!

5.2. Siena
==========
This mission starts off by a fellow agent killing another and its your job to
hunt him down, as usual.
Head through the door at the end and run down the steps. Follow the underground
tunnel whilst taking out the occasional goon as you go. When you get to the
open area take cover immediately and start picking off enemies. Ahead of you on
the right hand side there is and explosive tank which makes things a little bit
easier. Once you think you've got most of them slowly make you way forwards and
jump over the grate. Run forwards and take cover on your left and once again
start picking enemies off. You should have picked up a decent gun from one of
the enemies a minute ago so this bit is a little bit easier. Make sure you kill
the guy up on the left of you as I normally forget about him. Once they are all
dead there will be an explosion and some rocks will fall, carving a nice little
opening for you. As you head over there one of the guys you killed should have
dropped a SAF 9mm ARO Scope which is a really good gun so I would recommend
picking it up. Head through the gap and kill the guy who runs out. Wait until
the rocks blow up the head through the tunnel. Kill the guy who jumps down in
front of you and keep going until you reach a point were a timer appears.
The rocks will be blowing up again and you have to jump and duck under them
before the time runs out. Once you get to the end a cutscene will appear.
After the cutscene run to the wall on your right and take cover. Move to the
end and start picking off enemies ( make sure you get the guy in the window).
Once they're dead run up the steps and climb up the drainpipe directly in front
of you. Jump through the window on your right and head through the apartment.
Move up the steps and jump onto the roof opposite and watch the mini cutscene.
Once your on the other roof run and take cover behind the wall and take out
the guys opposite. Once they are dead three more guards will run out. If you
are quick enough you can kill them all before they get onto your roof. When
their dead slowly move forwards and be ready to kill the guy who is hiding
below you. If you don�t get him in straight away he will murder you. I found
the best way was to rush him and use a takedown. Head forwards and through the
next apartment but be ready to take cover. Step out into the open to trigger
the enemies then run back and take cover behind the apartment wall. From here
you should be able to kill the two guys in the upper windows. After you've
killed them slowly move out and be ready to shot the explosive in the room
opposite. This will kill the two remaining guys. Once they're dead jump over to
where they were and run through the apartment. If you head to the top floor
there is an A3 Raker( which is a sniper rifle) so I would recommend picking
this up. Head back down another floor and move outside to trigger another
cutscene.
After the cutscene kill the guard opposite you and run over the bus and up the
drainpipe. Take cover immediately, behind the chimney, and take out the guy in
the bell tower. When his two mates appear give the some of the same and run
forwards towards the over chimney. Take cover once again as more enemies will
be appearing. Shoot the explosives in the other tower to take out a couple of
guys and then just stay in cover taking out the ten or so enemies. Once they
are all dead head into the bell tower.
A tip from Nosmo75: When you see the guy in the left hand tower shoot the bell
to kill him and watch the bell swing to the right then back. Leave two or
three guys alive on the scaffolding and they will run into the tower. The
increased weight will shift the bell and cause the whole thing to coollapse.
Another cutscene will start and after it you will be engaged in combat with
Mitchell. Not really much I can say to help on this bit really, just press the
right button and when it says 'mash', mash like hell!

5.3. Opera House
================
This, in my opinion, is one of the best missions in the game.
Move forwards and hack into the CCTV if you wish. Move forwards and you should
see a camera ahead with a red light on it. If you stay in view of the camera
for more then two seconds you will be spotted and elite guards will come and
pretty mush destroy you so it's bets to not get spotted. Just before the camera
there is a box on the left. Approach it and disable the camera. The camera
should now have a green light instead of red which means you can walk in front
of it. Move forwards sticking to the path until you get to two switches. Press
the left switch once and the right switch twice to align the boards. Head
forwards and be careful at the end as the electricity kills you in one hit.
Continue along the path until you see a guard. Crouch behind him and initiate
a takedown on him (if you want to shoot him make sure you have equipped your
silencer). Stay crouched and head down the left hand side, into the water. Stay
there until the guard is near you and perform another takedown on him. Once
he�s dead head left and takedown another guard. On your right there is a switch
to lower a container so you can cross over the water.
Once you have crossed, head up the ramp and look to your right. You should see a
doorway. Don�t enter yet as there is another camera in here. Once it is facing
the other way run directly underneath it and disable it. Head through this
room until you get to the other end were there is a door on your left. There
is a camera directly above the window in front of you so make your way out of
the door way and take cover. When the camera is facing forwards sprint over
and disable it. head in the direction of the other camera, while staying close
to the right hand side. You should see a little gap you can crouch into with
the mains for the other camera. Once you have disabled it you can just run out
and up the steps. Continue forwards and take out the guy patrolling beneath you
( either with a takedown or with a silencer). Make your way up the steps and
ladder until you come to what appear to be a dead end. Press Y and you will
hop onto the ledge were another screen will appear of a guard looking at were
you are. Whenever he isn�t looking your way hold right and press Y to jump
across the gap. Continue up the ladder and take out the last guard in however
takes your fancy. When you get to you will view a cutscene.
This bit is fun! Take cover straight away and take out the sniper directly
opposite you. Once you have killed him the guards will have discovered your
position but don�t worry just yet. Take out the other two snipers and then get
ready for the real fight. The only advice I can really give you is take one
shot and if you hit or miss go back into cover. If you stay out of cover for
more then a second or two you will get owned. Try and take the snipers out
first and then take out the other goons. After a set amount of kills, or time,
I�m not to sure the structure you are on will collapse but your James Bond and
nothing can kill you =P.
Head forwards and stop at the base of the steps. With your sniper rifle look
towards the two spotlights in the on your left. You should be able to just see
the top of two guys heads from here. If you kill them here it makes going up
the steps easier. Once your at the top of these steps head over to were those
guys were and approach the narrow piece of wood. Cross it by keeping the white
dot near the middle of the line when you on it. I found the best way is to
press diagonally left or right so you move forwards at the same time. Once
on the other side jump down to your left and take cover, this next battle can
be fairly hard.
In the two towers opposite you there will be two snipers. Take these guys out
before anyone else as they just make this bit harder than it should be( there
are gas tanks next to both of them if your sniping skills aren't up to
scratch). Start shooting the guys below you until the 'time bomb' goes off.
Once it has slide down the ladder next to you and take cover behind the crate.
You will have a timer now so aswell as killing people you have to run like hell
aswell. From cover take out the guy in front of you then sprint all the way to
the end of the pier. When you get to the end remember to jump or you will fall
at the very last hurdle!

5.4. Sink Hole
==============
Start off by running down the path and taking cover from the gunfire from the
helicopter. Make your way from cover to cover until you reach the destroyed
aircraft and take refuge inside it. When Camille tells you she has the
helicopters attention jump over the wall in front of you and run under the rock
she is running over. When the helicopter moves follow the path until you
reach a ledge. Jump down and take cover. Move to the left of the destroyed
aeroplane wing and crouch up to the guard who is shooting at Camille. Perform a
takedown on him and pick up his gun. Take cover were he was and kill the
three guys opposite you. Once they're dead head over to were they were and
follow the path until your near some dynamite. Take cover on the wall opposite
it and take out as many guys as you can. When no one appears to be left head
on down and stick to the right wall. There will be a guard round the corner at
the end so dispose of him. Run up to the ledge in front of you and jump over.
Take cover behind the ledge in front of you, as this next bit can be fairly
difficult. Take out the three guys who run straight at you quickly then start
picking off the other enemies who are hiding behind the rubble. They will
probably throw a smoke grenade at you at some point to make things alot
trickier, aswell as the dust from the helicopter blinding your vision. Make
sure you take out the guy right at the end then once you think you've got them
all cautiously make your way forwards, towards the cave entrance. Jump up the
ledges and kill the guy who try�s to rush you, aswell as the guy in the cave.
Take a quick breather in the cave then head round the corner were you should
see a helicopter. Kill the guy who runs straight at you and run back and take
cover. Don�t worry about the helicopter, you don�t have to deal with it. Once
the helicopters been destroyed follow the path down to it. Pick up the ammo if
you need it and kill the guard on the other side of the helicopter. Mount the
turret and get ready to kill alot of people.
Start off by looking straight and kill the few guys here then immediately pan
left and take out the guards here ( there are boxes of dynamite littered around
here which can be very helpful). Keep your eye on the left hand side and kill
any survivors. When you are told to defend the right flank, pan right and look
up. Kill as many as you can here and keep an eye out to the left of the screen
for enemies running down. Once you've killed a fair few you will be told to
defend all flanks. I found the easiest way to do this bit was to get off the
turret and take cover behind the helicopter. From here you should be able to
kill most of the enemies as they will run straight in front of you. Once you
seem to have got them all come out of cover but remain crouched. Slowly make
your way into the helicopter and take out the two guys in front of you. There
will probably be a guy left on your left hand side so kill him aswell. Once
they are all dead you will get a new objective. Head forwards and up the hill,
making sure you take the guy out above you. Continue up the hill, go into the
cave and kill the two guys in front of you. One of them will have a sniper
rifle so pick it up and take out the guards below you. Once you have killed
two or three, two guys will appear above you on your right so take cover and
kill them with a different gun. Take out the remaining guys on the floor and a
helicopter will appear. You can either take out the gunners or attempt to
kill the pilot, its up to you, but I would recommend trying to kill the pilot as
it makes this bit much easier and quicker. Once the helicopter is destroyed
move forwards, towards Camille, to complete this mission.
================
5.5. Shanty Town
================
Start off by jumping down from your building and run forwards. When you reach
the end of the snake pit take cover and kill the guards. Continue forwards and
take cover on the right and kill the guy in front of you. As soon as he's dead
look to your left and get ready for two guards who try to rush you. Once they
are dead go through the doorway and take cover. Kill any remaining guards then
head to your right. Hide behind the box and take out the guy on the pier.
Slowly make your way forwards until a door on your right bursts open. Try and
shoot the explosive tank at the doorway, if not just kill the two guys who run
out in a normal fashion. Once they're dead continue forwards until you get to
a room were the bomb maker climbs up a ladder. Just to the right of the ladder
is a box with an 8-CAT in which is a wicked gun so pick it up. Head up the
ladder and take immediate cover. Take out the guys below and opposite you
until your told the enemy is coming from the right. Take cover to your right
and start picking off enemies. Watch the roof above you as one guy tries
jumping over to you from it. Once you think you've got them all go back and
take cover were you were a minute ago. When the garage door opposite you opens
shoot the explosive tank inside there to destroy everyone. Once everyone is
dead head down the ladder and look right were there should be an ammo box.
Pick it up if you need to then head towards the destroyed house and along the
path.

5.6. Construction Site
======================
As soon as you get out of the digger head forwards and over the pipes. Head to
your left and towards the crane. Jump onto the base of the crane and run up it.
When you get to the top go into the room on your left and go into the little
dip on your left. Crouch here and continue along till the end then jump out.
Run forwards and run through the cracked wall on your left hand side. Continue
along the obvious path made for you on the scaffolding until you get to the
edge were you see some pipes suspended in the air. Jump onto the pipes to
trigger a cutscene. When told to, detach the pipes by pressing X and watch
Bond fly.
The next bit is really easy. Just continue along the cranes and jumping when
told to. When you get back onto a building continue down the scaffolding until
you see the bomb maker going down in a lift. Look left and barge your way
through the door. Step onto the winch and tear the cables to catch up with him
then just sprint towards the moving van to complete the easiest mission in the
game.
============================
5.7. Science Centre Exterior
============================
Ahhh! Nothing like a little bit of sniper practice to calm those nerves after
a thrilling chase through Madagascar. Start off by picking off the three
guards on the first floor. There is one right above the front door, one
directly to your right and another right over on your far left who is quite
hard to spot. Once you�ve got these three, three more will appear on the roof.
You get told were they all are so take them out and head down onto the street.
Perform a takedown on the guard directly in front of you first then continue
towards the guy walking away from you. Remember to stay crouched or he will
hear you. Perform another takedown on him and finally another on the guy with
his back to you at the truck. Head down the right hand side of the truck and
pick the lock on the door. Head through the door and remember to stay crouched.
Go through the door on your left and wait here until the two guards have come
together. When they walk away from each other take the one out who is walking
towards you( either with a silencer or a takedown) and continue forwards up to
the other guy and take him out. I�m not sure with this next bit if you can do
it in stealth or not so from now on its all guns blazing. You should have
picked up an SAF 9mm Laser of a guard so I would recommend equipping it.
Take out the two guys in front of you then run to cover behind the boxes near
them. Wait until two guys are near the explosives on your right then shoot it
to take them both out. Kill the guy directly in front of you then shoot the
other explosive on your left to kill the last guy. Once you�ve got them all run
and take cover behind the truck on your right and wait for the next wave. As
soon as a guy appears on top of the truck kill him and look towards the right
of the truck. Try and kill the two guys who run out straight away before they
get into cover. Once they're dead look at the top of the truck and try and kill
as many enemies as you can before they get to ground level. There will be two
or three guys to the left of the truck who will keep advancing towards you
unless you kill them so my advice is take them out a soon as possible. There
will probably be a guy still alive on the right unless you got him on his way
down so find out were he is and kill him. Once the coast seems clear run up to
the truck and take cover on the right hand side. Up above the left hand side of
the truck, on the fire escape, a guy appears whose job is to piss you off and
kill you right at the end of this hard fought battle. Slowly edge your way out
and get him before he gets you or go into the truck and take him out from here.
Once you've got him head up the ladder on the truck and up the steps. Take
cover on this wall and make your way to the end where another guy tries to kill
you right at the end }=[. Once he�s out the way go into the room he came from
and pick up the D.A.D System ( you'll need it later). Head up the steps and
ladder and jump onto the ledge on your right. Make your way across while
avoiding the spotlight and climb up the pole. Take out the guy in front of you
then run forwards and take cover behind the vent. Take out the guy opposite you
who is hiding behind the cylindrical vent and run over to were he was. Shoot
the fire extinguisher in front of you and run down there to take out the two
guys. Take cover on your left and kill two more guards who appear ahead of you.
Once you've got them take cover next to the electrical box and kill the last
two guys. Once their dealt with continue forwards until three guards run out
in front of you. Either take them our normally or shoot the explosives its up
to you then head towards the air conditioning thing on your left. Take cover
here and wait for a couple of guards to jump off the helicopter. if you haven�t
shoot the explosives yet you might aswell now. Anyway however you kill them
take cover behind the air con to the right of them and start killing everyone
you can see. When you think you've got them all jump over the pipe in front of
you and take cover behind the air con on your right this time. Same deal really
just watch out for a couple of guys who will run right at you if you don�t kill
them quick enough and the guys on the roof opposite. Once the coast is clear
hop over the pipe and take cover next to the fire extinguisher. Wait for two of
the guards to get near the electrical box on your left then shoot it to stun
them. Once they're stunned dispose of them then take out the other guys at the
end.
I found this next bit really hard at first but the more I did it the easier I
found it. Head right, past your fallen enemies, and take cover behind the first
vent you see. Equip your D.A.D System and as soon as the helicopter appears
take a shot at it. Keep taking shoots at it every time it is stationary in the
air. After about 20 seconds the helicopter will fly over your head and a guard
will appear on your left. Quickly equip your SAF Laser and kill him. Once
you've killed him take cover on your left and equip your D.A.D System again and
start taking shoots at the helicopter. Once it flies over your head again go
and take cover were you did a minute ago and repeat this process. I�m not sure
how many times you have to hit it but I think its about five or six. When you
hear the pilot say he�s been hit you have completed this mission.
============================
5.8. Science Centre Interior
============================
Start off by crouching and heading forwards. Go down the steps and takedown the
guard. Hack into the CCTV if you want to have a look around. Head down the
steps and wait for the door in front of you to open. Run and take cover behind
the box directly in front of you. Be careful as there is a camera here. Once
the guards finish having their conversation head to your left and take cover
on the far side. The camera disable box should be just to your right. Disable
the camera then get back into cover. you have to take the first guard out up
this end or the other guard will see you. Once he�s dead move towards the
camera and find out were the second guard is. Just shoot him as your cover will
be blown in the minute anyway. Pick the lock on either door it doesn�t matter
but for the purpose of this guide I�m going to pick the left one.
As soon a the door opens shoot the guy who is running straight at you and take
cover behind the box in front of you. Start picking off enemies in front of you
while remembering to keep an eye out on your left hand side for guys who try to
flank you. Once you've got most of them jump over the box and take cover in the
little gap on your right. If the guards don�t see you go into cover here they
will all line up the left hand side so you can kill all of them in one go. If
they do see you go into cover just pick them off like you normally would. Once
they're all dead jump over the box head towards the door. It will close before
you get there so take cover on the middle catwalk and take out the three guards
opposite you. There is a gas tank next to the middle guy which will kill all of
them. Once they're dead cross the pipes over to were they were and look to your
left. You will see a ladder leading into an air duct so head on over there.
Climb down the pole and hack the door on your left hand side. Continue forwards
and stop on the other side of the desk. Crouch and take out the guy in front of
you. Head forwards and disable the camera from the box directly in front of
you. Head on past the camera and take cover behind the left hand wall. Wait
until the guard is right next to you then take him down silently. Continue
forwards until you see a camera with a green light. Wait until one guard
walks away then take out the one near the TV�s. Look to your right and you
should see the other guard. Once they're both dead go over to the TV�s and
access the elevator.
Once in the elevator stick to the right hand side of it. You will hear over the
radio that there is an intruder( hmm I wonder who that could be) and the
elevator you are in will begin to fall. After about 15 seconds a piece of the
ceiling on your right will fall down so I would recommend climbing through it.
Once your on the elevator roof look for a ladder on the wall and climb up it.
You will only just make it so as soon as you can run and take cover on your
right hand side. Don�t bother killing the guys in front of you as they get
blown up. Once they're dead head right and kill the two guys at the other end
of the corridor. Immediately take cover and shoot the guys on the opposite
side. Come out of cover and slowly make your way towards the side they were on.
A guy will rush up the stairs and try and kill you so be ready for him. Once
you've killed everyone on this floor make your way down the stairs. When you
get to the bottom, back up to the bottom of the first set and take out a many
guys as you can from here. you should be able to get three or four. Once you�ve
got everyone you can see head down the stairs and do a 180 degree turn. Take
cover behind one of the display cabinets and take out any survivors. Once you
think you've got them all head into the main area and just before the fire
look to your left. Take cover behind the wall on your right and get ready.
As soon as you see movement ahead of you start taking out as many people as
quickly as you can. To your right is a gas tank which will make short work of
a couple of them. once they're all dead look into the middle of the room from
your cover and start picking them off. Keep switching from forwards to right
from here as enemies will try and sneak up on you when your not looking. When
the coast seems clear hop over the wall and sprint down to the far end. There
should be a door open on your left hand side. Go in here and take cover near
the doorway. From here you should be able to take out anyone who is left on the
opposite side and anyone who runs at you ,you will be able to kill quickly.
Once they're all dead head through the door at the opposite end to were you
entered and kill the guy who tries to rush you.

5.9. Miami Airport
==================
Start of by hacking into the CCTV if you wish to explore the level ahead of
you, if not then just go through the doorway and take out the guard with his
back to you. My advice is to do as much of this level in stealth as possible as
it makes it much easier. Once he�s dead head towards the camera and disable it
from the box directly ahead of you. Take out the other guard who is patrolling
go down the left hand path. Follow this path around until you see another
camera. Just to left of it is the control box so when the camera is facing the
other way run up and disable it. Directly next to the camera is a door which
you have to pick a lock on so pick it and enter the room. Hack the computer and
watch the cutscene.
After the cutscene look to your right and get ready to takedown the guard who
enters the room. Once he's dealt with head through the doorway until you see
another guard. Don't kill him yet. Wait until him and his mates finish talking
then creep up behind him and take him down. Once you've got him head down the
steps and go left. You should see a guard in a yellow top. wait until he gets
near you then take him down. Continue down the corridor he was in and look
right. You should see the second guard here. Learn his route, then perform
another takedown on him. There are no cameras in this room so you don�t have to
worry about them. Once you have killed him turn around and go back into the
corridor you were just in. You will see a door just like the one a minute ago
were you have to pick the lock ( it's next to a big, green EXIT sign). Pick the
lock then enter the room and hack into the computer.
Look through the doorway on your left and you should see a camera. The box to
disable it is to the left. When the camera is facing to the right run over and
disable it. Once you disable it a guard will walk through the office in front
of you so be ready for him and kill him. head through this office and look
through the doorway on your right. You should see a guard and another camera
right next to each other. If your going for the ELLIPSIS achievement this bit
will probably be your downfall. In front of this doorway you will see a trolley
with some computers on it. Take cover behind this and then behind the wall in
front of you. When the camera is looking to the left of the guard shoot him
with your silencer then run to the pillar the camera is on. Here is the box to
disable the camera so disable it and hack the lock on the server room door on
your left. Hack into the computer and watch the cutscene.
Stealth is out of the question now so its back to all guns blazing. Take cover
on your left hand side and start picking people off. there is about a dozen or
so enemies here so it can be quite a tricky fight, especially when enemies try
and sneak up on you from the right . If you take out the guys on the right hand
side in front of you though this shouldn�t happen. Don�t forget about the guys
in the room on your left either. You can shoot the gas tanks on the ceiling if
you want but I don�t think it helps that much. When you think you've got them
all move forwards cautiously paying special attention to the room on your left
as there will often be at least one enemt left standing. Anyway once everyone
is dead pick up there guns and ammo( should be a SAF 9mm ARO Scope) and head
through the door they kicked down. Run up the steps in between the two vans and
take cove on your right. Once the enemies have run away go into the office next
to the fire extinguisher and open the box. Pick up the D.A.D System and take
cover in the doorway opposite the office and equip your D.A.D System. Look down
and you should see a forklift truck. Shoot the back of it and there will be a
massive explosion which should take out four or five guys. Stay in cover here
and take out as many guys as you can. Once you've got them all head through the
doorway and down the steps. When you get to the bottom take cover behind the
steps directly opposite you and start shooting at anything which moves. The
guards here are very daring and will just run right at you sometimes so be
ready. When tings go quiet look over to the far right hand corner and there
will be a guard there. Take him out form distance then run and take cover
behind the pillar on your left. take out the last remaining ground enemies and
the guy in the far left corner. From here look right and you will see a slope.
Go down it and quickly shoot the guard who tries and kills you right before a
checkpoint. once he's dead look to your left and you will see a box. Jump onto
it then climb over the fence to get your much deserved checkpoint.
Immediately take cover and start picking off enemies. they are up, down, left,
right, everywhere so just stay on cover and teach them all a lesson. Once
you've got them all head forwards and climb up the ladder on your left.
Immediately take cover and get ready for another fire fight. Start off by
taking out the two guys directly below you on the left then shoot anyone else
you can see. Take out the two guys on the catwalk opposite. There are
electrical boxes to stun them with if you so wish. Take out anyone else you can
see then move to the right. Sprint down the steps the up into the office on
your right. From here you should be able to kill most of the remaining enemies
just remember to cover both doors or you'll get snuck up on. When you can no
longer hear gunfire cautiously head out of the room and over to the office with
the blue wall. On your way over you will get attacked by the third wave of
enemies so take cover behind the closest thing to you and return fire. As soon
as you get a chance head into the blue walled office. From here just look
forwards and shoot everything as no one will sneak up behind you. Continue
forwards up this left hand side and keep killing enemies until you get the
message saying objective complete. Once you see this everyone is dead so just
run to the garage doors directly in front of you. Open them up and watch the
cutscene.
After the cutscene run out and pick up some ammo if you need it. Run up the
steps and take cover. I�m not sure what happens if you don�t kill everyone
quickly but as far as I�m aware you cant fail this bit. Just shoot the two or
three enemies and bobs your uncle, mission complete.

5.10. Montenegro Train
======================
I found this mission really fun. Reminded me of the good old train level from
Goldeneye on the N 64 ;].
Start off by heading out your compartment and going towards the end of the
carriage. Just before the end there will be a door with " electrical security"
written on it. Enter this room and climb up the ladder. Make your way along the
roof of the train until you come to some glass windows in the roof. Shoot one
of these out and drop down. You must take cover immediately or you will get
owned. From your cover position you should be able to take out most of the
guys. There will probably be one left right at the end of the carriage so
slowly move forwards and take him out. Once everyone in the carriage is dead
climb up the ladder and jump onto the freight train opposite you. If your
having trouble making the jump, jump in between the two crates. Once your on
the freight train pick up the ammo in the container then run out and take cover
behind the box. Try and kill as many people in the train as possible as it
means there will be less of them in a minute. Once the remaining enemies have
run away continue forwards and take cover behind the pieces of concrete. Take
out everyone you can see in the train opposite while using the fire
extinguishers and gas canisters to help you out. Once you've got them all
you'll get a checkpoint.
Continue along the freight train until you get to a ledge you have to jump
over. Do not jump over. Take cover behind the ledge and take out the two guys
in the container who would have pawned you had you jumped over the ledge. There
is a gas tank on the left hand side which will make things a little bit easier.
Once they're dead continue forwards and climb up the ladder. Take cover behind
the box on your right and kill the two guys who are in cover. Don�t bother
shooting the guys who are running along the roof as you'll just waste ammo.
Fall down the hole next to you and pick up the ammo if you need it. Take cover
and wait until the enemies stops firing at you. When they do stop firing walk
towards the end of the container and watch the cutscene. After the cutscene
shoot the big gas tank on your right and the little one straight ahead of you
to take out two of the four guys. You only have 30 seconds before your carriage
gets disconnected so rush up to were the gas tanks were and take cover on your
right. Shoot the guy at the far end the quickly run up to were he was. You
don�t have to kill the guy cutting the carriages apart as he dies
automatically. Once he�s dead quickly jump over to the other carriage and have
a quick breather.
Look to your left and climb over the barrier. Make your way across the ledge of
the train until you get to the end. When you jump over the barrier at the end
take cover and kill the two guys in front of you. Do a 180 degrees turn and
uncouple the train car. As soon as you do this jump over onto the other
carriage. Take cover behind the box in front of you and you should just be able
to see a explosive gas tank to your right. Shoot it and most of the enemies
should be killed. There will probably be a guy left just in front of you so
make short work of him and continue forwards. Further up the train you will see
two crates fall down and a guy jumping back onto the other train. Follow suite
and watch the 'dramatic' cutscene. Take cover to the right of the door and
shoot the guy who runs through the door. If you picked up a shotgun along the
way I would recommend equipping it now. There are two explosive devices in this
carriage so shoot them from you recover in the doorway then make your way
forwards. Take cover underneath the fire extinguisher on your right and take
out any remaining enemies. Once you've got them all head forwards and through
both sets of doors at the far end. Take cover on your immediate right and take
the guy out who is right in front of you. Shoot the gas tank in front of you
which will flush a guy who was hiding out. Run and take cover behind the box in
front of you and keep an eye on the door at the end. As soon as it opens try
and shoot the three guys who run out. If you don�t get them, don�t worry about
it just shoot them when their in cover. Once you've killed everyone head
towards the door at the end. Run through it and take cover just before the
ladder. Kill the guy who appears behind the gate and climb up the ladder.
Take cover straight away and shoot everyone you can see. When you think the
coast is clear jump up onto the ledge in front of you. When you jump up make
sure there are no lights above you as this will kill you. When your on the
ledge quickly shoot the guy who you couldn�t get a minute ago and take cover
behind the next ledge. A guy will appear at the far end so take him out. Jump
over the next two ledges ( remember to watch out for lights) and ignore the
ladder. Jump onto the next carriage and drop down the hole in front of you. As
soon as you drop down a flash bang will go off so remember to press A while you
cant see. This means you will be in cover when the light disappears. You should
be able to take out all four guards here, if not slowly make your way forwards
taking them out one at a time. When you get to were the last guard was turn
left and climb up the ladder. You'll get thrown into a hand to hand fight and
there isn't really any advice I can give. Just press the right buttons and mash
like mad when told too.

5.11. Casino Royale
===================
Start off by creeping up to the guy in front of you and taking him down. This
mission is best done in stealth for as much of it as you can. Once he's dead
head into the room on your right and kill the two guards in here. Walk out onto
the balcony and throw the guy off the edge. Jump onto the ledge on your left
and edge your way across. Be careful when crossing in front of the windows,
make sure the guards have their back to you. When you get to the end shoot or
takedown the guard at the end of the balcony and take cover behind the cabinet
in the room. When the guard walks out the bathroom take him down before he
reaches the room on the left or you'll have two guards to takedown right next
to each other. Once he�s dead go into the room on your left and kill the other
guard. Go back into the main room and turn left. Follow the path around until
you see yet another guard. Once he�s dealt with follow the corridor and push
the cart with pillows in to enter the locker room. When in here go to the cart
with a mop propped up against it and move it. It will conveniently stop next to
some lockers near a vent. Climb up, open the vent and make your way through it
until you hit a cutscene. After the cutscene follow the vent around until you
drop down and are thrown into the middle of a fire fight.
Take immediate cover behind the desk in front of you and kill anyone near you.
As soon as you feel you have a free second run and take cover on the right hand
side wall in front of the pool. From here run into the doorway on your right.
This room should be filled with steam and provides excellent cover for a pretty
hands on fight. Whenever your crosshairs turn red just fire as the enemy wont
be able to see you. Make your way up and down this area until you think you've
got everyone. When all is quiet head towards the far end of the steam room
and take out the two guys in a room at the far end of the spa. Once you�ve
killed them take cover behind the wall next the room they were in and look down
the path. Two more guys will have appeared so take them out. There is a fire
extinguisher right next to them which is quite hard to see. When their dealt
with go down to were they were and head through the door. You should be in a
posh little area now. If you want to get a sniper rifle then go into the room
were you killed those two guys as one of them has one. Follow the path around
and kill the two guys who are talking about the poker game. Go to the right
hand side of the balcony and jump onto the ledge. Make your way around until
you get to another balcony. Crouch, and wait for the guard to get right next to
you. As soon as he turns his back perform a takedown on him and take cover
behind the left hand door of the doors in front of you. When the guard isn't
looking towards you run into the room opposite with the vending machines in.
Go to the other doorway and perform a takedown on him. Head through the doors
on your left and jump over the counter on your right. Run to the end and pick
the lock.
You cant do any of this part in stealth so un equip all silencers you have and
get your biggest, baddest gun out ( will probably be a SAF 9mm). Shoot the guy
with his back to you then run and take cover behind plant pot on your right.
Kill everyone you can see then head up the stairs. Make your way to the
opposite side and go down the other steps. Kill everyone else you see and you
will get a checkpoint. People will have appeared upstairs now so go back up the
stairs and stop at the top. Take out the two guys you can see opposite you and
peek your head around the corner on your right. There should be a guy just the
other side of the table so put a bullet in his head. There will be two guys
right over on the far side now so if you picked up the sniper rifle then you
can use it, if not just use your SAF 9mm. There are explosive barrels
everywhere on this floor aswell so use them if you fell the need to. Take out
the other who appears on the other side of the table then finally the guy who
appears on your left. More enemies will have appeared on the bottom floor now
so head back down the first set of steps and take cover behind the light on
your right. Pretty much the same as the first battle we had in this room , just
kill the two or three guys you see. When it says objective complete quickly go
up the stairs and take cover, facing the double doors at the top of the first
set of stairs. Four guys will run out of here: two behind the lights; two
behind the doorway. Take them all out and head through the door they came from.
Continue along the corridor until you hit a cutscene with Vesper.
After the cutscene you have another Boss fight were you just have to press the
correct buttons. Not to hard, you should know how to do them by now =].

5.12. Casino Poison
===================
Easiest mission in the game but can spin you out!
The whole mission is on a timer but you get more time when you hit certain
stages. Start off by heading right and up the stairs. Continue up the stairs
and about half way through the next room there will be a door open on your
left. head through here and you will get a new timer of 30 seconds. The poison
starts to take more effect now and it becomes harder to walk. Continue forwards
and past the fountain. When you get to the end go through the door and head
right. Go as quickly as you can down this corridor, while avoiding people as
they will hold you up. When you get to the end of the corridor go towards the
window in the next room.
After the cutscene head past all the tables and down the stairs. Go down both
flights of stairs and go through the right hand front door. Go to the right of
the red car and run across the road. You will get hit by a car but don�t worry
about it. Continue forwards, go down the steps and you will be at your
beloved Aston Martin.

5.13. Barge
===========
Start off by disabling the camera on the hut in front of you. the box is right
in front of you. Go through the hut on your right and go out the other side.
The box to disable the camera on the warehouse is to the right of the guard and
through the bushes. Once you've disabled both cameras perform a takedown on the
guard and enter the warehouse. Take out the guard who is in front of you and go
over to him. He will have a sniper rifle so pick it up. Go to the far right of
the warehouse were there is an ammo box. Pick up some ammo and get ready.
This next bit is really fun if you have good sniping skills, if not its a
nightmare. If you don�t have good sniping skills just stay in cover and use the
FRWL instead. This guide is written from the sniping point of view although
it shouldn't really matter. Vesper will appear on your far right and the guards
will start coming from the left. Take out the two guards who come from the
left then look to your right. Take out the guy by the spotlight then the guy
who runs up behind Vesper. Next look in front of Vesper and take out the two
guys on the upper deck and the guy who jumps down in front of her. You will get
a checkpoint after killing these guys. Now look to your right and shoot the gas
tank when the guy is near it. Look left again and take out the guy on the upper
deck then the guy on the lower. A guy will climb up onto some crates aswell so
take him out if you can. A guy will jump down from the upper deck to the left
of Vesper next so deal with him then look at the doorway right next to her.
Kill the guy who runs out then the guy who jumps down to the left of her. One
more guy comes from the left then Vesper runs in that direction. Come out of
cover and run two windows to your left. Shoot the guy who appear right next to
Vesper but don�t worry about the second guy as you cant kill him. If you do all
of this in under 2 minutes you get the achievement I've got a little itch.
There are a number of ammo boxes in this room so get all the ammo you need then
head through the door on your left. Continue down the stairs and take cover to
the right of the doorway. As soon as the door opens shoot the guy who tries
running in. From here you should find it easy to pick off the remaining enemies.
There�s a pile of gas tanks to help aswell. Once you've got everyone head on
out and go left. Take cover behind the last container on your right and aim
towards the barge. You should see an explosive tank leaning against the ship.
When the two guards are near it shoot it to blown them to pieces. Continue
forwards, up the ramp, and take cover behind the container on your right. Shoot
the explosive barrels straight in front of you to wipe out most of the enemies
you can see and to get a cool slow-motion shot of it =P. As soon as you blow
the barrels up look to your far left at the end of the container. A guy will
run out of the end and can really piss you off if you don�t know he�s there.
End his life then look towards the mass of enemies advancing towards you.
One or two of them will run straight up to you so kill them before they get to
close. Another guy will run and take cover on the other end of the container on
your left. Once you've killed everyone here slowly make your way out of cover.
When you get far enough forwards two guys will appear on your right. Take cover
and kill them quickly. Once they're dead go over to were they came from and
crouch behind the crate by the cabin wall. Poke your head out and a enemy will
shoot at you then slam the door shut to the ship (if you want there are two
boxes of ammo right down the end of this walkway). Look through the window in
front of you and shoot the gas tanks inside the cabin. Head down the right hand
side and the door will blow open, allowing you to enter. Everyone will be dead
inside so just run in and go into the second room on your right. Behind the
table is a box with a TLD 22-s in which will help considerably in the next bit.
Turn around and go into the cabin opposite.
Follow the path outside and continue until you reach the top of the steps.
Continue forwards but be weary of a guard lying in wait for you around the
corner. Kill him, then continue through the container in front of you and up
the ladder on your left. Take out the guys on the roof opposite then jump down
and climb the ladder on your right. Kill the guy opposite you on the catwalk
and take cover. Shoot all the gas tanks you can see as they make this bit
fairly easy. Anyone who you don�t kill with the gas tanks take out with your
TLD 22-s. Don�t forget the two guys in the little control rooms on either side.
Once you've got everyone head along the catwalk and take cover on the left
hand side. Take out the guy climbing up the ladder and anyone else on the
ground. I often found that people would either climb up the ladder next to you
or sneak under the catwalk and shoot you from behind here so keep an eye out.
Continue picking off enemies until the coast is clear then look directly
ahead of you. There is a container in the air with explosive gas tanks on top
of it. Its practically asking to be shot so go ahead and shoot it. Once that�s
done jump down and head to were the container fell. Follow the path you
carved for yourself and head to the other side of were the doors closed. There
is a switch here which re-opens the doors so give it a flick and jump on down.
============
5.14. Venice
============
Follow the path straight ahead of you and go through the alley. Continue
forwards and go right. Go up the steps on your left and take out the two guards
patrolling here. I think this is the hardest part of this mission so its good
to get it out of the way early. Once they're both dead take cover on the left
hand wall, facing the electrical box. Wait for the three or four enemies to run
out and kill them. Once they're dead run over to the electrical box and look
down the stairs. Kill anyone who tries running up then run down the first
flight and take cover behind the wall. Equip a machine gun of some kind and
start picking off the numerous enemies. Once you've killed everyone you can see
run out towards the wall in front of you then run straight back and take cover
where you were a second ago. Kill the few guys who run out then head back up to
the top floor. Directly opposite you will be two guys who have just appeared.
Make your way over to the other side and deal with them. From here take out the
remaining four or five guys and wait until you here the sound of gates
opening. Run back down the stairs and take cover at the bottom of them on your
right hand side. There will be a guard standing at the gate. Take him out from
here then run over to were he was and through the gate. ( If your low on ammo
pick as much of it as you want up off the many enemies you just killed).
Once you go through the gate you'll automatically holster your weapon. Head
right and follow the path over the bridge. Go left, through a gate, and
continue up some steps. Jump down over the cones and do a 180 degrees turn.
Walk up the tiny piece of wood and make your way along the edge. Climb the
ladder and make your way left through the house. Don�t go down the steps, stay
on the top floor and take cover behind the wall. Shoot the explosives next to
the boat to wipe a few enemies out then just pick them off like you normally
would. Once they're all dead go left and go down the steps as the far end.
Climb the ladder and go through the house. Take cover and the end doorway and
take the guy on the balcony opposite out. Quite a few guys come at you here but
as far as I�m aware they never run up the steps. Take cover behind the wall in
front of you and start taking them out. I think there are about 15 of them in
total. When they stop running through the tunnel opposite you then you've got
most of them. When all goes quiet slowly make your way down the steps and look
to your right. There will be at least one, probably two, guys left down here so
quickly finish them off then head towards the tunnel opposite. Quickly look
behind you and up to your right and kill the guy in the flat window. Take cover
behind the wall to the side of the tunnel and kill the guy behind the
flowerbed. Once everyone is dead run over the bridge and over the boat on your
left. Climb onto the ledge and jump over the gap when the guard isn't looking.
Do the same when you climb over the ledge at the end and perform a takedown on
the guard. Head directly forwards and enter the building opposite you.
Once in the building go left and take out the guard in the doorway. Three
guards will appear even if you use a takedown on him so you might aswell just
shoot him. take out the two guards who appear on the ground floor and then the
guy one the first floor above you. If you take too much time you DO drown so be
quick about things. Hurry up the steps the guards came down and take cover
behind the wooden boxes. Take the guy on the far left out first then shoot the
explosives on the bottom right platform to kill two guys. Take out the last two
guys then look to your right. Run over the platform and take cover at the end.
Look around the corner and take out the guy behind the box. Continue along the
only path and take cover when you see a doorway on your left. Kill the guy
behind the wooden box and run to cover behind it. Shoot the other guy in the
doorway on your left then head up the stairs on your right. Once your at the
top go straight ahead and through the hole in the wall. Continue forwards
until you get to a switch which lowers some wooden planks. Do as its says and
cross the planks. Run up the stairs in front of you and take cover behind the
wooden box in front of you. Take out the two guys in front of you then look
right and run across this platform. Run around the corner and kill the guy who
runs straight at you. Enter the room in front of you and kill the guy who is
running away from you. head forwards and go left to hit a cutscene.
After the cutscene you will have a nail gun. You get a split-second head start
here so quickly aim at his head and pull the trigger.

5.15.Eco Hotel
==============
Here we are! The final mission! Here's were those many hours of gaming pay off
and you get those much wanted Gamerpoints!
Start off by running down the ramp in front of you. As soon as you get onto it
a car will speed out of the building in front of you. Avoid the car by leaning
against the right hand wall then head on down the ramp. When you get to the
bottom keep following the path around until you see a bit of wall which sticks
out on your right hand side. take cover behind this and shoot the guy who is
running away in the back. The first wave of enemies are fairly hard to kill
because all you have is your P99. Just stay in cover and kill everyone who runs
in your line of fire. When no one else seems to be coming take cover behind the
other wall just in front of you and kill the guy behind the pillar on the
right. This will trigger the doors on the left to close and more guards to run
out at you. Kill the guy on your far left first, as he can shoot you when your
in cover, then start picking off the rest of the guards. Keep on eye on your
left as more guards will keep running to here. The trick here is to be patient
and not rush out a soon as you think you've got everyone. Check everywhere
before you advance forwards. When you have killed everyone you will get a
checkpoint so that is a good way of knowing weather everyone is dead. As soon
as you hit your checkpoint, quickly run out and pick up as much ammo as you can
then run to the far side of the room. Take cover behind the flowerbed and look
to your right. When the gates open wait for a few seconds. About five or six
guys should line up pretty much next to each other in front of you. This makes
them incredibly easy to kill so just blind fire in their direction. More
people will come and two of them will take cover behind the car in front of
you. Shoot the car a few times to blow it up and kill these two guys. Just
pick off any more guys who run into the room now and when you've got them all
go and take cover behind something on your right ( facing the room the guards
came from).
Guess what�s about to attack us now? Yep, you guessed it. Even more guards! You
know the drill by now. Cover, fire, cover, fire you know how it goes. Shoot the
petrol tanks to stun your enemies. Once their all dead look to your right and
you will see some steps. Run up these steps and enter the office in front of
you. Take cover in the doorway and shoot the windows out. This is an excellent
position to take out the many more enemies who decide to have a go as they
can't sneak up behind you. There will be guys ahead of you and to your right
so don�t stay out of cover for to long. Once they're all dead you'll hit
another checkpoint and four or five guards will start running down the slope
off to your right. Get ready for them and shoot them as soon as they appear.
Once you've got them all breath a sigh of relief and head out the office. Go
right and open the case with a 8-CAT in. You'll need this later on. Head
through the doorway all the enemies came from and go straight ahead, up the
stairs. Pick the lock and head through the lockers. Take cover on the left hand
wall and wait for the shutter in front of you to open. Shoot the two guys who
run at you and continue forwards. Shoot the fire extinguisher on the floor to
put out the fire and continue along the path into the kitchen.
Take cover behind the first counter and kill the two guys right in front of
you. If you can see anyone else through the fire then you may aswell kill them
too. Go to the far left of the kitchen counter and look on the wall. Shoot the
fire extinguisher then run and take cover behind the next counter. From here
you should be able to kill five or six enemies. When you get a chance go and
take cover behind the counter in front of you. Move right and take out everyone
else who you can see. You should be able to kill everyone from here. Shoot the
fire extinguisher on the right hand wall and take cover on the right hand side
of the doorway at the end of the kitchen. Take out the three guys who run out
the door at the end and continue forwards. Run down the stairs and shoot out
the window on your left. Move forwards and go through the already broken window
at the other end. Take cover behind the wall on your left and move towards the
end. After the big fireball goes past you look towards the top of the slope
opposite you and kill the two guys standing here. Run up the steps in front of
you and go into the room on your left. Run out onto the balcony and take cover
behind the wall. Quickly kill the guy right in front of you before he jumps
over and kill the two guys behind cover. Jump over the walls and make your way
to the end. When prompted to do so shoot, the gas tanks to stun Medrano and
watch the quick cutscene of Camille killing him. Head over to Camille and pick
up the ammo if you need it.
Now you have to go after Greene so turn around and run through the doorway.
Walk across the beam and turn left. Run down the slope and turn left. Take
cover behind the wall on your right and equip you 8-CAT. Take out the guys who
come from the right first as they don�t respawn. Once they're dead take out the
guys on the top floor left hand side then take out the rest of the guards who
have joined the fray. Keep switching cover from the right hand wall to the left
to stop grenade attacks. When you think your getting near the end of the battle
about five more guys will come out on the top floor so use the same tactics to
kill them. Once they're all dead head towards the door at the other end of the
room and go to unlock it. You will get blown backwards all the way to the other
side of the room and Greene will pop up on the top floor. This bit is really
easy. The only annoying bit is Greene throws alot of grenades and you have a
time limit. As soon as you have control take cover on the right hand side to
avoid the grenade blast. Quickly shoot the gas tanks ( like the ones you shot
to help kill Medrano) on the right hand side and run to cover on the left
hand side. As soon as the cover on the gas tanks on the left hand side falls
off shoot the tanks. There will probably be a grenade next to you as you shoot
the tanks but don�t worry, you wont die. Once you've shot both tanks you will
have killed Greene.
You then have 30 seconds to escape the building before it blows up so do a
pretty sharp U-turn and you will see Camille waving her arms at you. Run
towards her and jump over the rubble in front of you. Run out the window to
your left and jump out into the desert.
Congratulations! You've completed James Bond: Quantum Of Solace! If you
followed the guide on the 00 difficulty then double congratulations as its a
pretty demanding game on this difficulty. Not as challenging as GOW or COD but
still pretty challenging!

6. General Tips
===============
1. If your playing the game on 00 difficulty cover will be your saviour. When
you come out of cover in the middle of a fire fight only stay out for a couple
of seconds max or you'll get owned!
2. Learn the art of blind fire before you try the game on 00 difficulty. It's
not to hard to master but make sure your pretty handy with it before attempting
this difficulty.
3. Grenades can be " cooked" by holding the grenade button. This means that the
grenade will go off quicker next to the enemy.
4. Whenever your close to an enemy, perform a takedown on them as it saves
ammo.
5. When you get told that " stealth is recommended" I would suggest using it as
it will make the mission easier.
