Minecraft XBOX 360 Editon has 20 achievements and 6 Awards.


Avatar Awards



Steve Gamer Picture

You receive this gamer picture once you have mined 100 total blocks in Minecraft.



Creeper Gamer Picture

You receive this gamer picture once you have killed 15 or more creepers on a 
difficulty of Easy or Higher.



Porkchop T-Shirt

You receive this avatar shirt once you have obtained a porkchop and cooked it in 
the furnace.



Minecraft Watch

You receive this avatar accessory once you have completed 100 day/night cycles 
throughout your mining career.



Creeper Hat

YOu can receive this avatar headwear by playing on a difficulty of atleast Easy,
crafting a bow, and killing a creeper by shooting arrows from that bow at the creeper.



Minecraft Wood Themed Dashboard Theme

You unlock this XBOX 360 Avatar Background by pressing pause while in the game, pressing 
the Y button then sharing the photo on Facebook.



Achievements



Benchmarking

Craft a workbench with four blocks of wooden planks.

Okay, here is what you are going to need for this achievement:

1. 1 block of wood

Okay, whenever you have your one block of wood in your inventory, press the 
X button. Then go 3 spaces to the right. The item that you now have your cursor 
over is called a crafting table. Once you have your cursor over the crafting 
table option, click the A button and you should get the achievement. If you do 
not get the achievement, put it to where the crafting table that you just 
crafted is in your hands. When it is in your hands, aim your cursor at the
ground and press LT. Now you should definitely have the achievement.




Getting Wood

Punch a tree until the block of wood pops out.

For this achievement you are not going to need anything but your hand. 

Okay, just walk up to a tree. Once you have walked up to the tree and are looking 
directly at it, press and hold the RT button. What you are now doing by holding the 
RT button is mining. Now whenever the block of wood disappears into a smaller form, 
you should get the achievement.



Taking Inventory

Open your inventory.

For this achievement you are not going to need anything.  

Ok all you have to do is start a game. Whenever you are in your game, press the Y button
on your controller. Once you have done this and a menu full of slots appears on the screen 
(which is called your inventory) you should get the achievement.



Time to Farm!

Use planks and sticks to make a hoe.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 2 Wooden Planks
2. 2 sticks
3. crafting table

Okay first what you have to do is set down the crafting table. Once you have set down the 
crafting table, press LT to use it. Once you get to the crafting table options, press RB. 
Pressing RB should switch to a different set of things to create on the crafting table.
Move your cursor to the right 3 times and the cursor should be over a wooden hoe. Press 
the A button over the hoe option and you should get the achievement.



Time to Mine!

Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe. 

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 3 Wooden Planks
2. 2 sticks
3. crafting table

Okay first what you have to do is set down the crafting table. Once you have set down the 
crafting table, press LT to use it. Once you get to the crafting table options, press RB. 
Pressing RB should switch to a different set of things to create on the crafting table.
The first option in that section should be a wooden pickaxe. Press the A button over the 
pickaxe option and you should get the achievement.



Time to Strike!

Use planks and sticks to make a sword. 

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 2 Wooden Planks
2. 1 sticks
3. crafting table

Okay first what you have to do is set down the crafting table. Once you have set down the 
crafting table, press LT to use it. Once you get to the crafting table options, press RB. 
Pressing RB should switch to a different set of things to create on the crafting table.
Move your cursor 3 times to the left. Press the A button over the pickaxe option and you 
should get the achievement



Acquire Hardware

Smelt an iron ingot.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 1 Iron Ore block
2. 1 coal ore
3. 1 Furnace

Okay first what you have to do is set down the furnace. Once you have set down the furnace, 
press LT to use it. This should bring up your inventory with a graph at the top. Put your 
Iron Ore Block in the very top box on the graph (Ingredient box) and then but the coal ore
 in the bottom box of the graph (fuel box). Wait a little bit and you should get the achievement.



Delicious Fish

Catch and cook a fish!

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. Fishing Pole
2. Furnace
3. Coal Ore.

Okay first you are going to need to find a body of water. Once you have found a body of water, 
cast your fishing pole into the water and keep it there. To do this press the LT button. Once 
you see your fishing bobber go underwater quickly without coming back up, immediately press LT again. 
It should bring up a fish. THen you are going to need to set down a furnace and put the coal in the 
fuel box. THen put the fish in the ingredient box and you should get an achievement. 





Cow Tipper

Harvest some leather

For this achievement you will not need anything.

Okay first you must walk around your map until  you find a cow. Once you have found a cow, run towards 
it. Once you are right next to the cow, start hitting it nonstop for about 5 times. The first cow you 
see may not drop leather when you first kill one. So you are probably going to have to kill more than one cow.
Once it drops leather, you should get an achievement. 



Getting an upgrade.

Construct a better pickaxe.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 3 Cobblestone blocks
2. 2 sticks
3. Crafting Table.

To get this achievement, you have to place down the crafting table. Once you have placed the crafting table, 
use it by pressing LT. Then press RB to get to the tools section. Since the pickaxe is the first option on 
the list when you press RB then you don't have move your cursor anymore to the right or left. Since your 
cursor is on the wooden pickaxe, press downwards on the Left Analog Stick and it should show you a stone 
pickaxe. Press A whenever your cursor is over the stone pickaxe to get the achievement.



MOAR Tools

Craft one of every tool (including the pickaxe, the spade, the axe, and the hoe)

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 9 wooden planks 
2. 8 sticks
3. Crafting Table

For this achievement you have to first place the crafting table using LT. Once you have placed the crafting 
table, use it by pressing LT. Once you have opened the crafting menu, press RB to get to the tools section.
Once in the tool section, press the A button once to craft a pickaxe, then move your cursor to the right. 
Then once your cursor is over the spade, click A, and then move the cursor to the right again. Once you cursor 
is over the Axe, press the A button to craft a wooden axe. Then move your cursor to the right again, therefore 
it is now over the wooden hoe. Press A to craft the wooden hoe and to get the achievement.



Hot Topic

Construct a furnace out of eight cobblestone blocks.

For the achievement you are going to need:
1. Any Pickaxe.
2. Crafting Table.

Okay first you are going to have to find stone on your world. Stone is a gray smooth looking block. Once you have 
found stone, start using you pickaxe to mine it by pressing and holding the RT button. Once you have eight blocks 
of cobblestone, you need to place your crafting table using LT to place it. Then press LT again to use it. Once you 
are at the crafting menu, move your cursor 4 times to the right. The cursor should now be on a picture of the furnace.
Press the A button and you should get a furnace and an achievement.



Bake Bread

Turn wheat into bread.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 4 Seeds
2. Hoe
3. 4 blocks of dirt.
4. Crafting Table.

Okay first you are going to need to set down the 4 blocks of dirt. To set them down you must press LT while holding them.
Do not put them on top of each other. Once you have set down each block of dirt, use the hoe on each of the four blocks by
pressing LT on the tops of them. Once all 4 of the blocks are tilled, plant one seed in each block by pressing LT (while 
holding the seeds) on top of each of the tilled blocks of dirt. Then once you have planted the seeds, you are going to have
wait a couple of nights before the wheat is fully grown. Once the wheat is 3/4 of a block tall, then this means it is fully
grown. To receive the wheat, you must mine (press RT) the wheat. Then once you have all your wheat, go to a crafting table. 
Once you are at your crafting table menu, press RB until you get to the food group. One of the options available should be a
loaf of bread. Click the loaf of bread. Once you have done this you will receive a loaf of bread and this achievement.



Dispense with this.

Construct a dispenser.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 1 piece of redstone
2. 1 Bow (as in a bow and arrow)
3. 7 blocks of cobblestone
4. Crafting table

Okay first you have to place and use the crafting table, using LT for both of these commands. Once you have the menu for the
crafting table open, press RB until you find the section with the dispenser in it. Once you have found it, put your cursor over
the Dispenser, and press the A button. once you have done this you should have a dispenser and a new achievement gained.



Monster Hunter

For the achievement you are going to have to play on a difficulty of atleast Easy.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. Sword

Okay first once you have your sword equipped and in your hand, wait until night. Once it is night time, monsters should be on the
loose. When you see a monster, go up to it, but keep a little bit of distance between you so you don't get damaged a lot. Then to 
kill the monster, rapidly press RT with the sword in your hand aiming at the monster. Once you have hit the monster a lot, then the
monster should die, possibly dropping an item and definitely giving you an achievement.



Leader of the Pack

Befriend five wolves.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. Minimum of atleast 5 bones. (recommended that you get a lot more). 

Okay first you are going to need to find five wolves. Once you have found wolves, try giving them a bone by pressing LT when aiming 
at them close-up. This may not work the first time so just keep giving it bones until you see hearts fly out of its head. This means
you have befriended a wolf. You must do this to 5 wolves in order to get this achievement.



Into the Nether

Construct a Nether Portal.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 16 pieces of Obsidian
2. Flint and Steel

Okay first you are going to need to set down 4 Obsidian blocks in a line. Once you have done this make a straight line going up 5 blocks 
of obsidian (including the bottom block).Then finish off the rectangle. When you finish off the standing obsidian rectangle is should look
like this (Obsidian = O, Air = X):

OOOO
OXXO
OXXO
OXXO
OOOO

You may use less Obsidian and make it look like this:

XOOX
OXXO
OXXO
OxxO
XOOX

Once you have your standing rectangle outline, take out your flint and steel. Then ignite the inside of the rectangle by pressing LT. This 
should give you a warp to the Nether and a achievement.



On a Rail

Travel by minecart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where you started.  

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. Some time
2. 250 Powered Rails (bring extra just in case)
3. 250 ordinary Rails (bring extra just in case)
4. 250 Redstone Torches (bring extra just in case)
5. Minecart
6. Atleast 500 Cobblestone

Okay first make a cobblestone lane stretching atleast 500 blocks in a single direction. Then at every even-numbered block of cobblestone, place an extra 
to the right of it. Okay now place an ordinary rail on the first block, and a powered on the second block, then you should have put a cobblestone block to
the right of where you placed your powered rail. Here you put down a Redstone Torch. So just keep putting the rails and torches in this pattern all the way
down until you are at the end of your lane. Then once you are finished set your Minecart down on an ordinary rail at either end. Push it a little bit by walking 
into it and immediately when you see it move, hop in it by immediately pressing the LT button. DO NOT try to let it leave without you, or this achievement will be 
a pain in the butt.


The Lie

Bake a cake using wheat, sugar, milk, and eggs!

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. 3 buckets
2. 3 piles of sugar
3. 3 rolls of wheat
4. 1 egg
5. Crafting Table.

Okay first you are going to need to milk a cow three times with 3 different buckets. To milk a cow, take your bucket in your hand and press LT while in range of the cow.
You can do this for all three buckets on the same cow. Once you have filled all three buckets, go to a crafting table and open its menu by pressing LT. Once the menu is opened,
press RB until you get to the food section. Once you get to the food section move your cursor over the cake option. Press A over the cake option for a placeable cake and an
achievement.



When Pigs Fly

Use a saddle to ride a pig, then have the pig get hurt from fall damage while riding it.

For this achievement you are going to need:
1. Saddle (found in a Monster Spawner)

Okay the first thing you are definitely going to have to do is find a pig that is at a very high height, usually on top of a very steep mountain is the easiest way to get this done. 
Once you have found a pig to this description, place the saddle on the pig by pressing LT on its back. (must be holding saddle). Then to mount the pig, press LT on the saddle. This
next part is kind of tricky, you are going to try everything in your power to make the pig fall from the top of the mountain. It may not work well, but try steering the pig. Once the 
pig has fallen, it should realize that it can not fly and also that it gave you an achievement.
