Below is a tabulation of the resources available in Mass Effect 2.

In the game, it may feel that the developers really skimp on what you get 
to work with, but in reality, there is quite a bit of resources handed out 
if you hunt for them and use them wisely.

* NOTES *

1.  Heavy weapon ammo was initially measured in numbers of grenades 
recovered because the Grenade Launcher is the only heavy weapon available 
from the beginning of the game (absent any DLC).  As a rule, I found that 
each crate would yield 4 grenades when the launcher was empty.  Heavy 
weapon ammo is a value that varies based on what weapon you are currently 
equipped with when a crate is accessed.  Since the potential yield of a 
crate appears to be a set value, the following lists the NUMBER OF CRATES 
to be found, not the QUANTITY OF AMMO per crate.

2.  Converting heavy weapon ammo values is tricky at best.  I have managed 
to produce the following formula, but I make no assurance as to how 
accurate it is.

[ 1 grenade = 2.33 Avalanche rounds = 1.67 missiles = 3.67% Cain ammo ]
[ 1 grenade = 58.33 Collector Particle Beam/Firestorm charge ]
[ 1 grenade = 1/2 Arc Projector round ]

3.  There were no heavy weapon ammo crates on Lazarus Research Station, but 
you do get the grenade launcher loaded with 3 grenades upon finding it.  
More so, whenever you recover a new heavy weapon in the field, it appears 
to come with additional heavy weapon ammo.  This document DOES NOT account 
for the ammo included in found weapons.  It only counts the number of heavy 
weapon ammo crates to be found in the game.

4.  All missions grant experience points, but once you reach Level 30, no 
more points add to leveling up.  Experience points in the Suicide Mission 
tend to only show up if you are not already at Level 30.

5.  You get a maximum of 51 skill points.  Squad mates get 30 with the 
exception of Miranda and Jacob who get 31 points.

6.  If you only do the main mission (recruitment/loyalty missions) before 
doing the suicide mission, you will likely only be at Level 27 with 48 
skill points to use...squad members will have 28 skill points to use.

7.  THIS GUIDE IS CURRENT THROUGH the Firewalker and Kasumi Goto DLC 
packages.

should be accurate, but there is always the possibility I got something 
wrong.  I apologize in advance for any errors that you might find that 
slipped through.

ammo crates during this mission.  I found an award of 200 credits after two 
distinct phases of this mission.  I also recovered caches worth 100 credits 
each that were dropped by Harbinger upon its destruction.
