Section 1 - Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my Download Content FAQ.  My name is Sakura, and with the
help of my husband, I have written for you this FAQ to help cover every single
detail about the Downloadable content in the game: Lost Odyssey.  

This guide is copyrighted to me, Sakura, and my husband, Sean.  I do not mind 
you using this guide on your site; I made this FAQ for everyone to share.

Section 2 - Download Content Introduction

What is Download Content (DLC)? 
Download Content is/are files you can download if you have an Xbox-Live 
membership.  They typically cost Microsoft Points (buyable through Xbox-Live), 
or require special purchases (pre-orders/promotions).  Once you access the 
Xbox-Marketplace, you can choose to purchase them for any game which has them.

What does it do?
Well, that depends on the DLC Pack you download.  Some add items, some add 
features, it really depends on what the game makers wanted to add in the game
as an extra for you to enjoy (at a price).

Download Content Pack 1 
Pack 1 is a Pre-Order Bonus Only.  If you pre-ordered the game, you received a
cool little card, with a 25-digit code on it.  Input the code on Xbox-Live, and
you get your fun extras.  You might find some extra codes available for sale if
you know where to look!  You can also create a Japanese account on your Xbox 
and download this for free.

Allows access to the dream �An Old Soldiers Legacy�; found at the broken Uhran 
bridge.  The menu names this dream as "The Old Soldier's Will", but when you 
view it, the name is "An Old Soldiers Legacy".

------------- Reflect-status on.  To increase your chances of hitting him, use
------------- Sed's ability "Counter Seal" on each character.  This ability 
------------- will seal the enemy's ability to counter "only once".  Once you
------------- attack, and said enemy fails to counter when he would have, this
------------- ability is used up for the remainder of the battle.  Cast it, 
------------- and pray your physical attack lands a blow.  Use Ground-Bound to
------------- create an earth shield to reduce kelolon's HP to 1 (cannot kill)
------------- with it if he Counters you.
------------- Summary: 1) Cast reflect to avoid death.  2) Ground Bound to 
------------- damage kelolon during counter. 3) Counter Seal to increase chance

------------- Leveler does the most damage, sometimes over 20,000Hp!  Forceus
------------- works good if you have nothing else.  Expect to die if you fight

The Strategy: The little bugger is immune to Magic, and dodges almost all of
------------- your attacks.  He is also immune to items.  If he doesn't flee
------------- during the first turn, which he most likely will, you will have 
------------- 3 turns to kill him.  At the end of the 3 turns, he will cast 
------------- death, and it will kill one character, provided you do not have
------------- Reflect-status on.  To increase your chances of hitting him, use
------------- Sed's ability "Counter Seal" on each character.  This ability 
------------- will seal the enemy's ability to counter "only once".  Once you
------------- attack, and said enemy fails to counter when he would have, this
------------- ability is used up for the remainder of the battle.  Cast it, 
------------- and pray your physical attack lands a blow.  Use Ground-Bound to
------------- create an earth shield to reduce kelolon's HP to 1 (cannot kill)
------------- with it if he Counters you.
------------- Summary: 1) Cast reflect to avoid death.  2) Ground Bound to 
------------- damage kelolon during counter. 3) Counter Seal to increase chance
------------- to hit kelolon one time. 4) Physical Attack.
Achilles� heel: Really, this guy has no Achilles' heal.  Use the strategy 
above, and you'll have as good of chance as anyone.

------------- it off, his Evade-Counter rate is incredibly high.  Counter Seal

------------- works good if you have nothing else.  Expect to die if you fight

Preparation: Before we tackle this guy head on, lets get to know him a bit.
------------ He's got nine different abilities in his arsenal.  Kelo-timate Hit
------------ is a Physical based attack that greatly damages all characters.

------------ character.  Prismus is a Magical based attack that greatly damages
------------ all characters.  Annihilation is an attack that causes instant

------------ Forceus is a strong spell that is used as a counter to any attack

------------ high defense and magical defense.  How do you beat him?  Lets

------------ With this setup, you have the ability to survive any attack or 
------------ counterattack that Killalon throws at you.  Granted, these is some
------------ luck involved in most of the skills; however, this is the best 
------------ setup you can have for this boss.  You are also offensively 
------------ prepared to deal some serious damage.  Oh, and if you don't have 
------------ Divide and Reversa, go get them now.  King Kelolon has Divide, 
------------ Treasure Hunt #15 has Reversa.  
------------ 
------------ Party Setup: Use all four immortals with the above skill setup.
------------ Now to choose a Mortal.  Pick Sed.  He has the highest HP out of
------------ any mortal, can equip 3 accessories (and special accessories, to 
------------ boot!), and can use 2 items per battle.  Equip him with Rose 
------------ Quartz (1 Turn Cast), Sage/Master Earrings (Lv 7/8 Black-White
------------ Magic), and Holy Guard (Crisis Defense).  
------------ Sed needs to be in the Front Row; All Immortals need to be in the
------------ back row.  With this setup for Sed, it lets Sed take all of the 
------------ Counterattacks (Killalon counters to front row characters) after 
------------ you attack, and it keeps him alive when he gets hurt too badly 
------------ (and he will get hurt), and it lets him cast any White or Black
------------ Magic in 1 turn; We do this part for the Reflect spell, as it is
------------ one of only two ways to survive Annihilation.  
------------ 
------------ Go stock up on healing items from the Kelolon Village.  They are
------------ very helpful in this battle. 
------------ 
------------ If you aren't level 99, go spend some time on Floor 24B of the 
------------ experimental staff remains.  You will level up every battle.  Once
------------ you hit 99 and are completely prepared, Save your game.  Then once
------------ more, travel down to floor 26B and open the door to face the evil
------------ Killalon.
The Strategy: One thing to remember here, if you stay on the defensive, you can
------------- survive easily.  Once you go on the offensive though, you have to
------------- nail him very fast, as his Generatus will kick in and he will 
------------- heal for 30,000+ per turn.   You will have to damage him for more
------------- than 30,000HP every turn to have a chance.  He has insanely high
------------- defense and magical defense, so Physical Attacks and Magic are 
------------- not an option.  We need Defense ignoring abilities.  All of the 
------------- Physical attacks involving Defense-Ignoring are too weak to be of
------------- use.  That leaves Gamble, Divide, and Reversa.  Scratch Gamble,
------------- we're going with the latter two.  Start off with Sed casting the
------------- spell "Reflect" on himself, Kaim casting it on two others, and
------------- Seth casting it on the other 2.  Have Sarah double-cast Divide,
------------- as well as Ming.  He will never cast Reflect on his first turn, 
------------- so you have done a good deal of damage, plus you are safe against
------------- Annihilation when he uses it.  Reflect lasts for three hits. Once
------------- Killalon hits any character three times, that character's reflect
------------- must be recast.  Here is Sed's job, in order of Priority: If any
------------- character's reflect wears off, recast it immediately.  If any 
------------- character is dead, throw an Angel's Plume at them immediately. If
------------- a character is damaged, even a little, throw a healing item at 
------------- them to recover HP, then use the Double-Item option to recovery 
------------- the MP of whoever is lowest.  If everyone has reflect and is 100%
------------- HP, have Sed cast Divide on Killalon.  If Sed is dead, have Sarah
------------- use Double Cast All-Resurrect and Divide (or Reversa, depending 
------------- on her current HP).  The reason you cast All-Resurrect instead of
------------- resurrect is for safety in case another character dies during 
------------- that turn.  All-Resurrect is a Lv 4 Composite Magic Spell.
------------- If a character is above 50% HP, Double-Cast Divide and Divide. If
------------- a character is below 50% HP, Double-Cast Reversa and Reversa.  
------------- With Auto-HP Recovery and all of your Absorbing Skills equipped,
------------- along with the insane damage you will incur during battle, you 
------------- will need to pay attention to your HP to decide on Divide or 
------------- Reversa.  If you let up on him, his Generatus will bring him back
------------- up to 100% HP in just 3 turns, so you need to stay on the offense
------------- or else stop, recoup, let him heal, heal yourself, and start over
------------- with the attacks.  This battle is possible to win in 3 turns with
------------- this strategy.

Development Chief Log 2
Professor K conducted a test of the prototype's interceptor
skills inside the facility.  A random security guard was ordered
to try infiltrating its zone of activity.  The experiment
fulfilled out expectation completely! The paramedics took
the guard back up to the surface, and after that we all
toasted to our success.

Researcher Log
Due to new confidentiality rules, from now on, researchers
have to go back to the surface using the lifts on every fifth
floor.  It's all good for security, I suppose.  I hardly have the time
to go up anyway with all the work on my plate, so it's not something that I�m 
concerned about.

Along with the prototype, we've been conducting research on 
an autonomous Guard Bot device.  We've already got a test model roaming the

downwards.  I couldn't even guess how deep it'll go in the

Guard Bot development is sailing right along.  We�ve added a �Shuffle� feature 
to scramble enemy formations as part of it�s support duties when deployed

that we�re nearing perfection here.

I�m conducting research into the latent abilities of monsters.  My focus 
recently has been on their counterattack performance, and I�ve collected 
monsters from around the world for this purpose.  Lately, I�ve been able to 
exploit the Counter Seal skill to limit enemy movement, but applying it to the
weapon is proving to be too difficult.  I�m afraid I�ll need to give up this 
angle.

Professor K has a cult of unwavering admirers around him.  Though he is 
undoubtedly a talented man, K often gets so wrapped up in research that he 
spouts off the craziest things at times.  If he keeps giving me these 
unreasonable demands, I just don�t know if I can keep going on.

It was utter chaos! The research monsters have escaped.  Our group was pretty 
far from the affected areas, but with all the cries and screams the monsters 
are making, we couldn�t concentrate on our experiments.  Prototype 2 and one 
of the guard bots managed to fend them off, but I really hope we don�t have to 
go through this again.

particle beam---has proven to be a formidable threat to all.

The Guardian Bot model has just undergone its second update.  Professor K 
handled this one by himself, equipping it with a special sound-wave emitter 
that capitalizes on the enemies� more developed abilities.  How on earth he 
managed to invent this, I do not know.  His innovation and skill never cease to

The Grand Staff�s out of control, and the Experimental Staff�s running the same
risk, so everyone�s on edge right now.  However, the large magic wave the other
day definitely did not come from the Sea of Baus.  I think originated more 
towards the north, near the Highlands of Wohl.

Our research has reached the final stages.  We can almost see the light at the
end of the tunnel.  Our experimentation on the Supreme K model should provide 
us all the data we need to finish weapon development.  Strength, beauty, 
perfection� the only thing that can beat Supreme K in any category will be the
true Terminus weapon itself.

The laboratory has expanded yet further underground.  This massive magic energy
is definitely flowing in from some other, larger reserve.  But there�s no need
to search out the source.  With our final weapon, we can take on any quantity 
of magic!

Development Chief Log 12
The new Supreme K prototype is live, although the design�s the same as 
always�even gaudler, if anything.  The boardroom seems to be getting pretty 
antsy, though.  Apparently the Council passed some resolution in response to 
the Grand Staff incident.  We�ll see what happens.

Magic Observer Log 4
The local magic energy�s suddenly surged ever since the Wohl incident, and new
monsters are getting attracted to it.  We�re starting to take casualties inside
the facility itself.  Although Supreme K has been able to deal with it well 
enough, this is going to become a serious problem if it keeps up like this.

We�ve received orders to halt experimentation after the Grand Staff trouble.  
That doesn�t affect us underground researchers much, but things must be crazy 
over at the Experimental Staff right now.

Apparently we have received orders to cancel the project, but K�s overridden 
the order himself.  Does he realize what he�s doing?

K wont leave the lowermost research lab, and with Supreme K patrolling the 
area, no one can come near him.  Apparently he�s intent on continuing his 
research, even if it means disobeying direct orders.

Development Chief Log 13
They decided to scrap the Experimental Staff.  There isn�t much time left, 
either.  We�ve got to convince K to leave the bottom floor.  He can�t stay down
there much longer after the Staff shuts down.  I imagine he�ll have no choice 
but to go up before long.

Development Chief Log 14
We tried out best, but K won�t listen to us.  He keeps telling us to hold on, 
that project is almost complete.  Our transport ship has already arrived.  We 
can�t wait any longer.  K can say what he wants, but we�re getting out of here 
and we�ll force the issue if necessary.

It�s done! It�s finally done!  I have realized the ultimate weapon!  I shall

Right, I�ll have this transported out tomorrow, then.  Hm, that�s odd.  
Why�why is the place shaking? 
What? The experimental Staff�s falling apart? We�ve been ordered to evacuate? 
Well, I suppose that explains why that researcher was yelling at me before I 
kicked him out of the lab. 

Professor K Log 10
Researchers are swarming in here.  They are ignoring my direct orders! 
Apparently they want to use the elevator to escape.  Well, let them! I�m not 
leaving here for anything!

Professor K Log 11
They�ve abandoned the Experimental Staff.  The shaking has not subsided, and I
can hear the alert siren from up above.  It�s too dangerous down here.  I�ve 
got to get out�
No! no, I can�t! Not without getting my baby to a safe place!  It�s time to use
the inner shelter.  I know it�ll be safe in there, ribbit ribbit.
