Hello, and welcome to my Sidequest FAQ. My name is Sakura, and with the help
of my husband, I have written for you this FAQ to cover and explain every
aspect of every sidequest in this entire game.

| next to the save point, agree to help him and he will give you a Coin to |

|-When you reach Burgusstadt, talk to Anne in the last house. "Tell her about|
| him" is the option to choose if you want a White Berry Potion, if you don't |
| tell her, she gives you 1000 Fol. |

|-Connect to Rico and talk to "Spirited Kid" in Nolaan to learn of Snouty. |

|-Connect to Rico in town and talk to "Spirited Kid" again to complete the |
| quest. |

|-In Nolaan, talk to "Distracted Man" to learn of something buried in the |
| Shrine. |
|-In Dragonbone Shrine, look for the first alcove off to the left to find a |
| pile of rubble that "looks like something was dug up". (this triggers the |
| quest) |
|-Connect to Rico and talk to the town Dog; He will tell you to wait until he |
| remembers where he hid the Ring. |
|[You must now wait until Castle Prevant is completed to finish this quest] |
|-Connect to Rico and talk to the town Dog again, he will mention something |
| about monsters in the Shrine. This triggers Sidequest 07, and you must |
| complete it before continuing this quest.] |
|-Once Sidequest 07 is complete, Connect to Rico and talk to the Dog to learn |
| that he buried the Ring by the well. |
|-Pick up the Ring by the well. |
|-Talk to "Distracted Man" for your reward. |

|Sidequest 04 - Clay for Pots - Sandstone, Ceramic, |
| Hearthstone |
| |
|-After you complete Dragonbone Shrine. Talk to "Cranky Old Man" in Nolaan to |
| activate this quest There are three types of clay you can collect. One by |
| the entrance to the Shrine, one inside the Shrine by the entrance, and one |
| in the secret room in the Shrine. They are "Poor Clay", "Soft Clay", and |
| "Gold Clay", respectively. |
|-Poor Clay rewards you with Sandstone. |
|-Soft Clay rewards you with Ceramic. |
|-Golden Clay rewards you with Hearthstone. |
|-Once you give him the Golden Clay, the quest ends, so give him the Clay in |
| the order listed above. |

|Sidequest 05 - A Letter for Denton - Karathos Wristband |
| |
|-After you complete Dragonbone Shrine, talk to "Doleful Man" in Nolaan. He |
| asked you to deliver a letter to Denton in Burguss. |
|-In Burgusstadt, talk to Denton in the last house on the right to complete |
| this quest. |

|Sidequest 06 - Nolaan Delivery Boy - Miraculous Medicine |
| |
|-After you complete Dragonbone Shrine, talk to the Shopkeeper. She will ask |
| you to delivery 3 different items. The potters wheel goes to the "Cranky |
| Old Man", the Hair Clip goes to the lady standing outside of the shop near |
| the town entrance, the Iron Arm Weights goes to the "Energetic Old Man" |
| walking around the town. |
|-Once all three items are delivered, talk to the shopkeeper again to end the |
| quest. |

|Sidequest 07 - Monsters in the Shrine - Ogre's Hammer |
| |
|-After Castle Prevant is completed, Connect to Rico and speak to the dog. He|
| will tell you about monsters in the Shrine. Go into the Shrine and find a |
| big Ogre. Kill the Ogre and the wolfs next to him to obtain an "Ogre's |
| Hammer" and complete the quest. |

|Sidequest 08 - Back Pain Medicine - Sacrificial Doll |
| |
|-After Castle Prevant is completed, talk to the "Worried Old Woman" standing |
| by the well. Agree to her request for some medicine and she gives you a |
| prescription for it. |
|-Talk to the shopkeeper in Burgusstadt to learn that you need 10 Harpy |
| Livers. |
|-Go kill 10 Harpys in the Luce Plains; Harpy Liver becomes a 100% drop during|
| this time period. |
|-Return to the shopkeeper in Burguss and talk to her to obtain the medicine. |
|-Return to Nolaan and talk to the "Worried Old Woman" to complete the quest. |

| inside of the cave that separates the North and South Sections. |
|-Return to the Officer for your reward. |

| by Lumpers. Kill the Gior to get the Fur you need. |
|-Return to the Minister for your reward. |

| to get a free bottle. This allows you to start Sidequest 17. |

|Sidequest 16 - The Lost Sword - Rabbit's Foot |
| |
|-After Vesplume Tower is completed, enter Burguss and go to the last house on|
| the right. Talk to Ralph and be told to fetch his sword. A toy sword. |
|-With Balbagon or Gustav in your party, head to the very lower right corner |
| of the Luce Plains. Break the rock and enter this area. Kill all of the |
| Lumpers to get the sword. |
|-Return the sword to Ralph to complete this quest. |

|-After Vesplume Tower is completed and you have a bottle of Zalacrest Wine |

|-Talk to "Lecherous Old Man" in the same bar to trade that for some medicine.|
|-Talk to "Mina", the little girl in the park, to trade that for a Veros |
| Teardrop. |
|-Talk to "Devout Priest" in the east room of the Castle and give him the tear|
| to complete this quest. |

|Sidequest 18 - The Cupid Quest - Blue Berry Powder Or |

| |
|-After Saranda's attack on the King of Kolton, return to Burguss and talk to |
| the "Rookie Soldier" wandering the hall of the Castle. He wants you to |
| deliver a ring to his future lover. |
|-In the restricted area on the west side of the Castle there are two women |
| guards. Either will accept the ring, but the correct one is the woman on |
| the left. Give her the ring. |
|-Talk to the soldier again to finish this quest. |

SAPRAN

|Sidequest 19 - The Memento - Marble Necklace |
| |
|-Pick up the "Bomb Comb" on the west side of Sapran. |
|-Talk to "Exhausted Old Man" while Connected to Aya to learn that he needs |
| that comb. |
|-Talk to him again to complete the quest. |

FAYEL

|Sidequest 20 - Blood of Fayel - Ring of Life (3% HP REG!) |
| |
|-After Gina reports that Gustav is missing you can start this quest. Connect |
| to Eugene and talk to the "Accessory-selling Girl" to be told to hunt for |
| the "Blood of Fayel". The blood is in the Oradian Dunes next to the Save |
| Point in the Oasis. The appearance is random, so if it isn't there, save |
| your game and reload until it appears. |
|-Return to Fayel, Connect to Eugene, and talk to the girl again to finish |
| this quest and get one of the best accessories in the game. |

|Sidequest 21 - Deliver Nina's Letter - Metetite |
| |
|-After Gina reports that Gustav is missing you can start this quest. Connect|
| to Rucha and talk to "Cautious Girl" near her. She wants a blossom ring. |
|-Up in the Oradian Mountains on your way to Vesplume Tower, there is a spot |
| off to the right (near the top of your climb) that overlooks the canyon. |
| This is where the ring is. Pick it up. (It's where Genma was/is on your |
| climb to Vesplume Tower on Disc 1.) |

|Sidequest 22 - Unlucky's Relative - Para-gone |
| |
|-After Vesplume Tower is finished, Connect to Michelle and speak twice to the|
| "Unlucky Woman" walking the streets. You are on the hunt for Burenelice. |
|-Speak to "Customer" in the bar to learn of his whereabouts. |
|-Talk to the woman again to complete this quest. |

|Sidequest 23 - Gustav's Memories - Panacea |
| |
|-After Vesplume Tower is finished, talk to Gina outside of Aya's room to |
| start this quest. |
|-Talk to Aya to learn the location of a bow. |
|-Talk to Gina again and you will told to go fetch it. |
|-Head up to the Oradian Mountain near the entrance to Vesplume Tower, then |
| head east to a dead end. The "worn bow" is a shiny spot on the ground here.|
|-Take the worn bow back to Gina to complete this quest. |

|-After Saranda's attack on the King of Kolton, Connect to Komachi and talk to|

|-Aya can craft this item, so whip one up and talk to Matilda while connected |
| to Aya still to complete this quest. |

|-After Saranda's attack on the King of Kolton, Connect to Dominica and talk |

|-Exit Fayel and hug the right wall to lead you into a dead end area (where |
| you met Gustav). There is only one bear, and you need to kill it. |
|-Once defeated, Connect to Dominica and speak to the kid again to finish the |
| quest. |

|-After Saranda's attack on the King of Kolton, Connect to Balbagon and talk |

| of the Save Point in the Oradian Dunes. |
|-Once defeated, Connect to Balbagon in Fayel again and return to Samson to |
| finish this quest. |

|-Enter the northwest house in Kolton and talk to Simon's Grandmother to give |
| her the Glasses. |
|-Talk to Simon's Grandfather and you will be told to wait a while. He asks |
| you to wait a while, so go kill some time by doing other quests or killing |
| enemies out in the Timberlands. |
|-Talk to Simon's Grandmother and you will told about a Pendant that you must |
| find. The Pendant is directly in front of where Edward stands down near the|
| dock. |
|-Return the Pendant to Simon's Grandparent to complete this quest. |

|Sidequest 36 - Confection Contest - Wedding Special |
| |
|-After you arrive in Kolton, Connect to Aya go to the northeast house. Talk |

| and forth between the apprentice and the master until they repeat themselves|
| repetitively. You must now wait until you visit Halgita. |
|-After visiting Halgita, Connect to Aya and speak to both apprentice and |
| master again until they repeat themselves. You must now wait until you have|
| spoken with the King of Kolton. |
|-After you visit the King, Connect to Aya and speak to both apprentice and |
| master again until you receive the "Wedding Special" reward. |

|-Return to the Breeder and talk to her again while connected to Rico. |
|-Return to the dog and talk to it again while connected to Rico. |
|[You must now wait until the assault on Halgita] |
|-After the assault on Halgita, Connect to Rico and talk to the Breeder again.|
|-Stay connected to Rico and talk to the Dog again. |
|-Stay connected to Rico and talk to the Breeder again. She won't give you a |
| reward quite yet; You need to wait a while, so go kill some time by doing |
| other quests or killing enemies out in the Timberlands. |
|-After a while has passed, return to the Breeder while connected to Rico to |
| get your reward and end this quest. |

|-Stay connected to Eugene and walk up the stairs to Svala's room and talk to |
| the guard on the right, guarding it. |
|-Connect to Rico and go to the second floor, west side, last house. Speak to|
| the mouse to get the ring back. |
|-Connect to Eugene and talk to Karin again. |
|-Stay connected to Eugene and talk to Empress Svala to end this quest. |

|Sidequest 41 - Dressed up Vic - Golden Fur Jacket |
| |
|-After the assault on Halgita, Connect to Vic and go to the second floor, |
| east side, first room. The lady here asks for a Barkcloth and 3 Golden Wolf|
| Furs. Barkcloth can be obtained from the General Shop is Halgita; Golden |
| Wolf Furs can be obtained from Vallins in the Oradian Dunes after Lunar Rain|
| starts to fall. You must Surprise Attack them to get this drop. |
|-Connect to Vic again and return to the lady to give her the items. She asks|
| you to wait a while, so go kill some time by doing other quests or killing |
| enemies out in the Timberlands. |

|[This is a multi-part quest] |
|-After the assault on Halgita, talk to Owen in the chapel on Floor 1. This |
| will start the "Shop Upgrading". |
|-Speak to each of the following merchants: Lively Shopkeeper, Hardworking |
| Weaponsmith, and Quiet Armor Shopkeeper. |
|-The Lively Shopkeeper needs 3 Lentesco Wood. If Faina is still in Halgita, |
| simply buy them from her and return to the shopkeeper to finish this quest. |
| If Faina is gone, Mandragoras in the Timberlands drop this wood. |
|-The Hardworking Weaponsmith needs 150,000 Fol. Save your money and return |
| to him to empty your wallet and finish this quest. |
|-The Quiet Armor Shopkeeper wants you to kill all of the Lizardmen gaurding |
| the Kolton Teleporter. Do so and return to the shopkeeper to complete this |
| quest. |
|-After all three quests are done, your shops will be upgraded. Speak to Owen|
| in the Chapel for your final reward. |

|Sidequest 43 - The Lost Katana - Herosong |
| |
|-After the assault on Halgita, Connect to Komachi and talk to Shido on the |
| east side of the second floor to learn that he lost a sword. |
|-Stay connected to Komachi and talk to Shinkai in the Library to learn of the|
| ingredients needed to forge a Replica sword. You need 1 Lizard Fang (from |
| the lizards in the Timberlands), 1 Rachnuvus Cloth (from the Spiders in |
| Dais}, and 1 Titanium Metal (General Shop in Halgita). |
|-Connect to Edward and the "Replica Katana" will be added to his I.C. list. |
| Craft the katana. |
|-Connect to Komachi and talk to Shinkai to tell him that you have the sword. |
|-Stay connected to Komachi and talk to Shido to get your reward and complete |
| the quest. |

|Sidequest 44 - Promised Doll - Capell Doll, Faina Doll, |

|[If you do not have the free vouchers from Xbox Live, make sure you craft 3 |

|-After completing Dais, talk to Faina in Halgita to trigger the quest. |
|-Talk to Faina again to give her 3 Damask Cloths |
|-Faina asks you to wait a while, so go kill some time by doing other quests |
| or killing enemies out in the Timberlands. |
|-Return to Faina to get your reward and end the quest. |

|Sidequest 45 - Vermiform Propagation - Laughter |
| |
|-After the lunar rain starts falling on the Oradian Mountains, Connect to |
| Touma and talk to Shinkai in the Library on the second floor of Halgita. |
| He will tell you to go kill Vermiforms. This triggers the appearance of |
| Vermiforms in the Cobasna Timberlands. |
|-Go into the Timberlands and kill all 8 (or 9, if you trigger Sidequest 46) |
| Vermiforms. Exit the Timberlands and re-enter to kill more. You need to |
| kill 11 or more. |
|-Return to Shinkai while connected to Touma to end the quest. |

|Sidequest 46 - Shadow of Vermiform - 50,000 Fol |
| |
|-After the lunar rain starts falling on the Oradian Mountains, return to |
| Halgita and talk to "Sarah" at the entrance. She will ask you to go kill a |
| very specific Vermiform. There are 3 Vermiforms in the large area where you|
| fought Orthros, one of those 3 will drop the "Blood Stained Seal". |
|-Return the Blood Stained Seal to Sarah to complete this quest. |
