Covenant and brute vehicles V 1.0

Banshee
In halo 3 the banshee has lost its ability to point itself directly at the ground which means a player has to judge very well when to start shooting and may be tempted to hover closer to the ground, making a skyjacking all the more likely
Beware of the tell tale signs of a laser attack, the laser sight on the banshee and the beeping sound are a good indication that you could about to be lasered
Remember! You can use the Power Drainer to bring the Banshee right to the ground for you to hijack or kill!
The best method to use the Banshee consists of going in for an attack, and the moment you aim for your target, retreat to a safe place then swerve back for another attack. DO NOT fly down towards the ground, you will be jacked.
If you hear the Missile Pod bleeping and you are not facing the attacker, boost away and find some cover, make sure you take a sharp turn behind it so the missiles hit it rather than you. Make sure the cover is close because the missiles will catch up with you in due course.
If you are under missile attack from the Missile Pod and are facing the target you can see the correct moment to try a Banshee trick and dodge the missiles.
Usually it is best not to use the Banshee unless you or your team have the Spartan Laser. It's harder to dodge than the Missile Pod if your enemy is skilled it.
As your shield starts to fade below 50%, try to quickly get to the highest possible point on a map and invariably away from your opposing team, also try to just hover here until your shield regenerates.
The Banshee makes a great way to get to sniping places that are normally unreachable, mainly because you can jump off while flying and it won't land in your sniping hole's area
When in a Banshee, us it as a support vehicle. Stay by your teamates! Running a Banshee out into the middle of your enemys can easily spell death to you with a well aimed sticky.
Faster than the Hornet, it has the ability to flee from most battles. Strike fear into your enimies with frequent fly-bys, fire off those guns. You dont really have to hit anything, just get there heads down so your team can move. This vehicle is still no match for a scorpian in a firefight, and it will be devestated if you stay around a hornet to long. Use it wisely!--
Banshees only spawn in Valhalla and Sandtrap and if you look directly above you when you start the game you should see a tower of some sort. When you hear a beeping sound, just fly to the opposite side of the tower and hear the Missiles hitting the other side of the tower. As for the laser, just fly low where there are teammates only. If you are not under attack by a Laser, DO NOT by any costs fly low. One word: Skyjack. BTW, when trying to skyjack a Banshee, just jump to the side of the Banshee when it flies over you, holding RB all the time. Don't jump directly in front of the Banshee when trying to skyjack it or the next time you look at the Banshee-flier's File Share you will see: Mid-air splatter.
Ghost
Try boosting to make a splatter kill more likely
Boosting is a good way to escape a battle quickly but be aware of the ghosts reduced turning abilities while in a boost.
You cannot shoot from the ghost while boosting
Try to not let people get behind you while on the Ghost:
1: You are more likely to be caught unawares and get hijacked.
2: The back of the Ghost leaves the driver more exposed and thus leaves you easier to kill.
Carried from Halo 2, while boosting if you press and hold "A", the vehicle's front raises a bit. It does slow you down a bit, however, it does makes splattering easier
When an opponent is at a distance and you feel like some splattering goodness, try to fool them by charging full blast in hopes of tricking your opponent into jumping early, but slowing down before impact, if you time your next boost properly you should hit them right when those feet hit the ground again.
You can no longer destroy the Ghost by simply shooting the Fuel Cell on the left side
Stick it! Theres not many things more satisfying then sticking a Ghost with a Spike Grenade, Plasma's work too.
This is a really underestimated vehicle. Although it lacks in defense when used in conjunction with a higher power vehicle (warthog or tank etc.) it can be an effective weapon. Its small size allows it to go where other vehicles cannot, making it ideal for clearing out structures and its speed makes it a great transport. Unlike its slightly faster human cousin the Mongoose, the ghost is only 1 person, however it has armament. Dont underestimate this little devil, it just might take you out!--
This is a hit-and-run vehicle; it's best for picking off individuals running through open areas.
Never stay in one place too long. Your boost is best utilized to escape from enemy contact. When you don't see any enemies, it's actually better not to boost, as this way you can react better to attacks such as grenades and sometimes rockets.
Avoid splatters unless you know the enemy is not paying direct attention to you. If they are shooting at you, then it's less likely you will be able to get a splatter. The front of your Ghost is your shield. If you try to boost and miss, they have the opportunity to shoot at your back now, or possibly stick you with a plasma/spike grenade. Sometimes, if you don't have enough momentum, it won't even kill them entirely, but simply reduce their shields. Instead, practice using the Ghost's weapons. Most people jump when the Ghost is around for fear of splattering, and throw a grenade. Since you can strafe, the grenade is easily dodged. Though the plasma cannons on the Ghost seem to be weak, it really just depends on how skilled you are at leading your target while strafing. Just be mindful of your surroundings and don't let them lead you against a wall where they can use grenades or even hijack your vehicle.
If you cannot kill an enemy within 10-15 seconds, use your boost to get out of there, especially if they've managed to cause any damage to your shield. Chances are, an enemy sniper or laser is lining you up in their sights while your prey is keeping you occupied. It's better to let your shields recharge and let the enemy forget about you for a bit so you can return and surprise them. Also avoid attacking groups, even pairs, of enemies, unless they're all moving on foot and you're boosting from the flank of their direction of travel. If you head straight into them, chances are all their assault rifles will be focused on you, and since your sides and rear are vulnerable, you don't want to be surrounded.
Don't charge head-on into a turret, as even the front of your Ghost can't withstand it. However, if you have the opportunity to hit the machine gunner while he's focused on something else, take advantage of the situation.
Learn how to maneuver the Ghost in such a way that you avoid enemy fire. It is entirely possible to make a nearly 90-degree turn which will cause locked missiles to arc away and miss.
You can also use the boost function to make the Ghost "fly" as you hit a ramp of some kind. This is most useful for breaking contact, but it's also just fun to do. While you're boosting, you don't need to press forward on the left analog stick. Instead, while you're in midair and boosting, you can use that control stick to shift your weight so that you remain upright when you land, losing as little momentum as possible and sometimes traversing certain chasms otherwise unable to be traversed by a vehicle. It's the same kind of thing a dirt bike rider does when jumping a hill. Tilt back on the analog stick while in midair. Sometimes, you have to release the boost for just a moment to better stabilize the vehicle. There are two main disadvantages to this technique, however. It often leaves you more exposed while in midair, and ramps can be somewhat unpredictable and cause your Ghost to tilt left or right, leaving you vulnerable as you go to flip your Ghost back over.
Don't be afraid to engage a Wraith! Unless there is a gunner in the plasma turret, or the driver is extremely good at leading its target, you can strafe and dodge the main cannon. Avoid getting too close to the front, as the Wraith can actually splatter you in the Ghost. Instead, fire a few shots at the driver and make your way around behind the Wraith where he's vulnerable. Unless the team is smart and has some defensive measure for the Wraith's backside, you can usually get in enough hits to destroy it. --
A fun thing to do against Ghosts, both in multiplayer and campaign, is to melee the driver right off the back. In either context, I've managed to time an early jump over a boosting Ghost and meleed the driver off the back of it before landing. Also, if a Ghost driver gets into a place where they can't escape quickly (occasionally people will drive a Ghost into the underground portion of Snowbound), you can sometimes beat them off without even jumping.

Wraith

The Wraith can now have two men aboard! One to drive and the other to fire the turret which is situated on top.
The driver can still boost and fire its large cannon although the boosting distance of the wraith has been reduced for the sequel.
It's funy to see a chopper trying to ram you if your in a wraith since it doesn't do too much damage against the wraith tank armor. then splatter them for a "sorta" easy kill :D --)
The Wraith can Splatter smaller vehicles.
Carried from Halo 2, while boosting if you press and hold "A", the vehicles front raises a bit thus making it easier to splatter a vehicle.
Have enimies hiding behind a wall? A rock? or a high place? The wraith is the vehicle for you! The arch on its main cannon can obliterate those cowardly foes that are just to afraid to face you!--
Keep it away from the enemy. Like most artillery the Wraith is best used at extreme range to bombard the enemie's base and keep them inside if its a structure. The Plasma Cannon on it is good protection but like its Halo 2 predessor an enemy can easily get incredibly close and be immune to the Wraith's weapons then simply board an destroy it. Keep the Wraith back at your base until you have the halfway spot secure. This vehicle is perfect for Sandtrap.

Chopper

try ramming other vehicles with the chopper to deal great amounts of damage
shoot while driving towards a player to take down their shields and then ram them for an easy kill
The chopper is equipped with a short boost ability, use it to destroy smaller vehicles by ramming them
As with the Ghost, you are more protected from the front, but left more exposed from the back.
If you run into something, don't back up. the chopper can turn on a dime
The Choppers auto cannons can flip most vehicles when fired correctly.
Choppers can destroy without guns; however, if charging too fast, not just the vehicle will blow up; even your Chopper will blow up, costing your life
I have never seen the Chopper blow up for charging "too fast". I do know, however, that if two Choppers charge each other at the same time, they both blow up. If your Chopper ever blew up during a charge, that's probably what happened.
If you tap the right trigger, you will fire in bursts of 2 shots in the same rate of fire, thus giving you more firepower.
The Chopper can destroy any other medium sized ground vehicle by splattering.
I find it impossible to flip this vehicle over

Prowler
You may want to consider NOT filling up all available seats in the prowler, especially in small scale games, as a well placed rocket or missile could reward the opposition with an easy overkill. (Usually resulting in an extermination.)
The Prowler may seem to be a very sucky "offensive" vehicle, but with everything that's Brute, it has blades on it. the blades are on the side(?) I think and if you hit a person, his shields will be down. At that point, another person on the Prowler can kill him. It's recommended to do this tactic in campaign and Big Team Battles. ;)
Go off of jumps and don't worry about landing. The Prowler can change its course in mid air.
If you do decide to fill the seats, then us this as a spectacular invasion vehicle. If the enemy has a strong defensive structure, drop of 3 or 4 guys to take the base by storm! Use the rear cannon to lay down cover fire if you want to go in loudly! If not just stay out of site. --
If you by some chance just feel like filling up per se on sandtrap that prowlers were put onto you might want to put in people with anti vehicle weapons such as the Spartan Laser, Brute Shot, or rocket launcher but thats in general whenever you use them.
Keep in mind the plasma turret on the Prowler is slighty stronger than the Warthhog turret
Also, you might not want to out maneuver anything because the Prowler is not very manoeuvrable
