Closing Statements I. The Achievements ------------------- Guitar Hero Metallica currently has 50 Achievements worth a total of 1000 Gamerscore points. Most of the achievements are pretty simple but a few are really only obtainable by guitar hero legends. If you have all 3 instruments and have some skill in guitar hero, you can look at about 800+ points in the game. A. The More I See - Complete the Tutorials 5G - You must complete all the tutorials. It is really boring to Guitar Hero veterans as well as Guitar Hero beginners. You can not do the drum tutorials unless you use the Official Guitar Hero drums. You can not use the Rock Band drums for them. B. Metallica - Complete any instrument career on Expert (Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Drums or Band) 75G - This can be done on any career. There is a trick to doing this. You can complete the entire career on an easier difficulty and then just complete the last song, The Thing That Should Not Be on expert and you will obtain the achievement. C. James Hetfield - Complete the career as the vocalist 25G - You must get 70 stars to unlock the last song to complete the career. It doesn't matter what songs you play. Just obtain 70 starts total. If you are good at gaining 5 stars on songs, you just have to play 14 songs total to unlock the last song. For vocals, you can easily put the difficulty on beginner and then set your mic in front of a fan or constant sound. D. Lars Ulrich - Complete the career as the drummer 25G - Same as Vocals except done with drums. Takes 70 stars to unlock the last song. Can be done on any difficulty. E. Kirk Hammett - Complete the career as the guitarist 25G - Same as vocals except done with Guitar. Takes 70 stars to unlock the last song. Can be done on any difficulty. F. Robert Trujillo - Complete the career as the bassist 25G - Same as vocals except done with Bass. Takes 70 stars to unlock the last song. Can be done on any difficulty. G. Holier Than Thou - Complete all instrument careers 150G - You must complete the Vocals, Drums, Bass and Guitar careers to unlock this. They can be done on any difficulty but all must be done on the same save file. H. One - Complete a song with any instrument on Hard or Expert in local Quickplay or Career 10G - Just as the description says, this can be done on Hard or Expert in Career or local quickplay. This can be done with any instrument. I. ...And Justice for All - Earn 100 stars in Band Career or any single instrument Career 50G - This can be done on any difficulty. Probably the easiest and fastest way to obtain it is to Vocals method. Put it on beginner and put the mic in front of a constant sound like a fan. J. The Ecstacy of Gold - Earn $15,000 50G - This is over time. Fastest way to get it is a 100 Percent songs on Hard or Expert. It will take a little big of time but not too long. After a song, it will tell you what your total is that you have obtained. K. Ride the Lightning - You triggered star power simultaneously (4 player band) 10G - You must have a full band playing. Can be online in Band Quickplay or offline in Band mode. Make sure while in song, you have around 5 vials of start power and then everyone activate star power at the same time. Better strategy is make sure everyone has a 4x first, this will net you two achievements instead of just this one. L. 2 X 4 - Earn a band Hot Streak (4 player band) 10G - If I am not mistaken, this is when you get a full band 50 note streak. Can be done online in band quickplay or offline. M. Metal Militia - 100% a song (4 player band) 30G - This can be done on any difficulty including beginner. So find 4 players that can keep a open note strum doing and a fan for your mic. The drummer will have to keep hitting the bass pedal but pick Stone Cold Crazy since it is the shortest song. N. The Struggle Within - Complete a song in a band in Quickplay or Career (4 players) 10G - Just complete a song with a full band, any difficulty will do. O. The Four Horsemen - Complete a song with all band members on expert in Quickplay or Career (4 player band) 20G - This can be done online in Band Quickplay as well. Easiest song to complete on expert for all 4 players is The Unforgiven. P. Nothing Else Matters - Complete the career in a band (2-4 player band) 50G - This can be done on any difficulty. You will need to obtain 70 stars total to unlock the last song to complete the career. Can be done with only two players. You don't need a full 4 player band. Q. Better Than You - Win an online Pro Face-Off match 10G - This can be done in private, public, or ranked. Just have to win. Any difficulty. R. Blitzkrieg - Win an online Band v Band match (8 players) 10G - Doesn't matter if it is private, public or ranked. This is really hard to do legit searching because no one hardly plays Band V Band online. Might need to find a group of people on the forums to help you with this one. S. Seek & Destroy - Play 20 online matches 25G - Doesn't matter what the match is or if it is public, private or ranked. Just keep playing online. Fastest way to get it is to play Battle mode and keep losing intentionally at the start of the song. T. The Unforgiven - Win an online Face-Off match 10G - This can be done in private, public, or ranked. Just have to win. Any difficulty. U. Reload - Download a song from GHTunes 5G - GHTunes is the online spot to download other people's created songs. Simply click on it off the main menu under Studio and then download a song. V. Hero of the Day - Complete a song on Expert + in Quickplay or Career (drums only) 30G - You do not have to have the Double Bass pedal to do this, it may be obtained with just one. You can only get this with Drums alone. No one else can be playing as well. No Band Quickplay. Only songs with a skull and crossbone beside them are Expert + songs. Easiest songs to do this on are Wherever I may Roam, Master of Puppets. Hell Bent For Leather is really short but has nothing but double bass in it. W. Wherever I May Roam - Complete a song in every venue 15G - Playing through the career will get you a majority of the venues. Replaying a song in career will let you pick the venue. Your last ones will probably be the Music studio and the Ice Cave. X. The Memory Remains - View a Metallifacts video 5G - When on the song list, choose bonus options for the song and click view Metallifacts. This will play you the song with all kinds of trivia about the band and song. Watch it beginning to end and this will pop. Y. Black - Win an online battle match with the Fade to Black power up 10G - This is a random power attack that you can obtain while playing battle mode. It will make the other players track completely black making them have to play by memory or make them look at your track if playing on the same difficulty. Remember that last part if doing this achievement legit. Can be done in private, player, ranked. Secret Achievements ------------------- Z. Trapped Under Ice - You completed a song at the Ice Cave venue 5G - This is where the last song in career is performed. AA.Lemmy - You rocked out as Lemmy 5G - To unlock Lemmy, you must play Ace Of Spades in career mode. Then purchase him off the character select screen for $10,000. Then play any Non-Metallica song. Or you could play the vocals career and play Ace of Spades. AB.Invisible Kid - You performed as the bassist 5G - Will unlock after playing any song as Bass. AC.Some Kind of Monster - You performed as the guitarist 5G - Will unlock after playing any song as guitar. AD.The House Jack Built - You completed a song in every In-the-Round venue 10G - You will get this after playing through a few of the venues in career mode. AE.Astronomy - You hit every star power phrase in the song Orion 10G - Can be done on any difficulty. Song is pretty long. AF.Stone Dead Forever - You completed a song at The Stone venue 5G - This venue unlocks after you finish career mode. So after you complete career mode, replay a song that you have already completed and pick The Stone as your venue. AG.Cure - You recovered from a poor performance in Quickplay or Career 5G - This is where you go into the red failing screen or your track becomes red. Then you come out of it and and finish the song. Easiest done on Medium or higher. Strum Up and Down really fast at the beginning of the song to get into the red, then start hitting all the notes to finish the song without failing. AH.Eye of the Beholder - You created a new custom band logo 5G - When you create a logo, save it and this will unlock. AI.Fixxxer - You created a new custom instrument 5G - You can create a custom instrument while creating a character. After completing the creation and saving, this will unlock. Doesn't matter what instrument. AJ.Blackened - You created a custom tattoo 5G - While creating a character, select tattoos and then create one. Upon saving, this will unlock. AK.Master of Puppets - You scored the highest individual score on a song in a band 10G - TO get this really easy, link up all 4 instruments and put three of them on beginner. Have some friends play them while you play on a higher difficulty. You will by default earn the most points. Can be done online as well. AL.Disposable Heroes - You created a new custom rocker 5G - Just create a character. Doesn't matter what you do to them, just create one. AM.Damage Inc. - You performed as the drummer 5G - Will unlock after playing any song as Drums. AN.Motorbreath - You performed as the vocalist 5G - Will unlock after playing any song as Vocalist. . AO.King Diamond - You rocked out as King Diamond 5G - To unlock King Diamond, you must play Evil in career mode. Then purchase him off the character select screen for $10,000. Then play any Non-Metallica song with him. Or you could play the vocals career and play Evil. AP.Enter Sandman - You scored 330,000 on the song Enter Sandman on guitar 30G - This is challenging but isn't too hard. You can get this with 100% on Hard with a good star power path. If you are going for it on Expert, you can do it with 98% with a decent star power path. AQ.Dyer's Eve - You scored 450,000 on the song Dyer's Eve as the drummer 30G - Auto Kick cheat disables achievements. This can be gotten on Medium with a good star power path and 100% with both the Rock Band and Guitar Hero drums. Really challenging achievement. Very skill based. AR.Fight Fire with Fire - You scored 340,000 on the song Fight Fire with Fire as the bassist 30G - This is only possible on Expert. Must have at least 98% notes hit to get this. Again, really challenging and skill based. AS.Stone Cold Crazy - You scored 65,000 on Stone Cold Crazy as the vocalist 30G - This can be done on Medium and up. Secret to doing it on medium is to use an online keyboard during the freeform parts. Use your star power for the freeform parts and then use an online keyboard to kill a lot of points. You must still do well on the song. Other than that, you must get about 88% on Expert when doing it legit. AT.Creeping Death - You scored 575,000 on the song Creeping Death as the guitarist 30G - Must have at leats 99% hit notes with a good star power path. If you miss at least 4 notes, just restart. Hard achievement! AU.Battery - You scored 1,000,000 on the song Battery as a band 30G - This is obtainable with Vocals on Beginner, Drums on Medium and Guitar and Bass on Hard doing doing at least 95% notes hit. That is the easiest set up for it. Not too hard. AV.The Unforgiven II - You won an online Face-Off match by 25,000 points or more 10G - Doesn't matter if it in Private or Public. Just win by 25,000 or points. Doesn't matter what difficulty. AW.Green Hell - Drummed every green note and finished the song Blood and Thunder with the rock meter in green - Just play on Easy and hit the green notes, you can miss other notes but no green ones. Must finish song with rock meter in green as well. AX.The Unforgiven III - You won an online Pro Face-Off match by 25,000 points or more 10G - Doesn't matter if it in Private or Public. Just win by 25,000 or points. Doesn't matter what difficulty. II.
