Closing Statements Downloadable Content List ------------------------- 1. Boss Battle Track Pack - this will help with the point achievements and it is free. The Devil Went Down to Georgia is really hard but has a lot of notes, if you can get the song down, you can easily get all the point style achievements. The pack is also free. 2. Ernten Was Wir S�en - This is a single song that will net you really high points and has a lot of notes, pretty easy for a expert song. 3. Death Magnetic - I'm only putting this on here for the fact that All Nightmare Long really makes all the point achievements really simple. So if you have the points and are good at the game, this will help you get a 1000 in the game. The songs are also really fun as well. I. The Achievements ------------------- Guitar Hero III currently has 59 Achievements worth a total of 1000 Gamerscore points. I have included the easiest songs for certain achievements as well as added the Downloadable Content songs as well. Which are marked with the ** symbols. A. Enlightened Guitarist - Gold Star 20 songs on Expert 30G - There are two ways you can do this, legit, or glitch it. Legit, you have to perfect 20 songs on expert. They must be career songs. Probably the first couple of tier songs are the easiest. If you are looking to glitch it, go to the cheats menu, enter the code for performance mode, then enter the code to unlock all (both found on the cheats page) Then go to career, expert and pick Through The Fire and Flames, then automatically fail and this achievement should pop. B. Hendrix Reborn - Complete Career Lefty and Righty 10G - For this you must complete the career at least twice, once on righty and then go to your options and change the setting to lefty flip, after you beat the career on both, this should pop. Must do the whole career on both. Doesn't matter the difficulty. Try playing looking in a mirror if you are right handed when you do lefty flip. C. Who Needs the Power - 200k on Cult of Personality without Star Power 15G - This can only be done on Hard or Expert. Easier on Hard but you must pratically perfect the song. A little trick you can do is near the end of the song when that pause comes up right before the final 5 seconds of notes, activate star power then and as long as you star power is up when the song ends, it doesn't count that you used it. D. Whammy Mania - Use the Whammy Bar on every held note on Number of the Beast 15G - This can be done on any difficulty. What you mainly want to do is tape down your whammy bar a just perfect the song, you must hit every whammy note. E. Star Mania - Activate Star Power 3 times on Through the Fire and Flames on Expert 15G - This is only obtainable in Quickplay. TTFaF is the hardest song on the game and you must first unlock it by completing career mode on any difficulty. Best tip I can give is as soon as you fill your star meter up where you can use star power, use it. The song is fairly long, there are a few chances to get this in it. F. Life of the Party - Host Ranked Online matches and win 15 consecutive songs 10G - You must host the matches and win 15 times in a row. You can check your consecutive streak on the leaderboards. This achievement is glitched and doesn't unlock when it is suppose to for most people. It may pop up randomly sometime after you have won 15 matches in a row. G. Search and Destroy - Join Ranked Online matches and win 15 consecutive songs 10G - Same as Life of the Party except you must join ranked matches. This achievement has the same glitch as Life of the Party as well. H. Too Many to Count - Hit 250,000 notes in Career 25G - You will get this eventually, just play a lot and you will get it. Must be done under 1 band. I. Never Gonna Spend It All - Earn $350,000 in career lifetime earnings 10G - You must earn this much money among all your careers. If you are going for 5 stars you get more money and will get this quicker, but it still takes awhile. J. That's What Friends Are For - Complete Co-op Career 25G - Just complete a co-op career with a friend on any difficulty. Must be done locally. K. Back Up Hero - Complete all songs as the back-up guitar player 10G - Must complete the co op career as the Bass or Rhythm Guitarist. All songs. Must be done locally. L. Guitar Wizard - Complete all Co-op as the lead guitarist 10G - Must complete all songs in the co op career as Lead guitarist. Must be done locally, any difficulty. M. 100 Million!?! Gulp!?! - Earn 100,000,000 points total in Career 30G - Just keep playing songs under the same band in career mode. I hope you really like the game and playing because that is what this achievement calls for. N. Streaker - Earn a 150 note streak in a Ranked Online Battle mode match 10G - Go on xbox live and create a Ranked Battle Mode, then try and get a 150 note streak, pretty hard if you are playing legit because the other player will be hitting you with weapons. O. Tone Deaf - Beat any song on the expert difficulty with the games sound options turned down to zero 5G - First go to options and turn all the games sound options to zero so you hear nothing. Then play a song on expert difficulty and pass it. P. Easy Rider - Complete a Career on the Easy Difficulty 5G - Complete the Career on easy, you must complete at least 3 songs on each tier and the encore/guitar battle to move to the next tier. After beating Lou(the devil) at the end, you will get this. Q. Medium Rare - Complete Career Mode on the Medium difficulty 10G - Same as Easy except takes a little bit more skill, it adds another fret button on you, so now you have to press four. R. Always Hard - Complete Career on the Hard difficulty 15G - Not the same and Easy and Medium, you must use all five fret buttons this time and complete every song on the setlist to move on. It is pretty leniant until the last two tiers. Be prepared for Raining Blood and One, they have nasty shreds in them. So might be a good time to work on hammer ons and pull offs. S. Solo Career - Complete all Career difficulties 25G - You will get this once you have beaten the Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert careers. T. Button Masher - Win 15 consecutive Ranked songs online using a standard controller 5G - Do the same thing as Life of the Party except use a controller. If you can't play with a controller all that well, get a friend to help you boost this achievement. Note that it is also glitched and may pop up randomly sometime after you have done they right thing to unlock it. U. Buy a Guitar Already - Play through a career on the Hard or Expert difficulty using a standard controller 15G - Well if you are really good with a controller you shouldn't have a problem hear. If you aren't, beat the game like you normally would with a guitar, then shut the game off after you've beaten Lou at the end, a little when the video starts rolling. Start the game back up with a controller plugged in and then go to hard/expert and get ready to pick a song, the achievement should pop. You don't have to play the whole career again if you have already beaten it before, just beat Lou at the end. V. Big 'Ol Pile of Wins - Win 500 Online Ranked matches 20G - Just play a lot of ranked and win 500 matches, will take awhile. W. The Long Road Ahead - Complete all difficulties in Career, buy everything from the shop and complete 100 online matches 100G - Complete Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Play 100 online matches, doesn't matter if they are ranked or not and by everything from the store, you can use a code to unlock everything in the store or buy everything legit. That also means you have to 5 star every song on all 4 difficulties in solo and co op. X. Meet Your Maker - Beat one of the creators of Guitar Hero 3 at their own game 20G - This is viral, just beat someone that has the achievement and you get it, player or ranked. Online only. Y. Right Hand of God - Complete Career Mode on the Expert difficulty 20G - Same as hard but harder. Just have to pratice until you can do it, if a solo is messing you up, save star power and it may help you get by. Z. Bronze Streaker - Earn a 100 note Streak in Career or Quick Play 5G - Really simple, most songs even on easy will net you over 100 notes, just don't miss any notes and you will get this. AA.Silver Streaker - Earn a 250 note streak in Career or Quick Play 10G - A little bit more difficult than Bronze but not much, some of the longer songs on easy will get you this if you don't miss any notes inbetween. AB.Gold Streaker - Earn a 500 note streak in Career or Quick Play 15G - This can be done on One on easy. Some of the easier Medium songs can net you this. Story of my Life is a good one. AC.Streak Master - Earn a 1000 note streak in Career or Quick Play 20G - Only easy song that can get you this is Through The Fire and Flames. If you are looking for something else, One on Medium is a possibility. AD.First Big Score - Score 250,000 on a song 5G - This is actually possible on Through The Fire and Flames on easy if you are perfecting the song and using your star power right. You can also get it on One on Medium or Story Of My Life. AE.Half a Mill' - Score 500,000 on a song 10G - This can be gotten on Through The Fire/Flames on Hard. It can be gotten on a handful of expert songs as well. If you have some DLC, It can be gotten on Johnney I Hardley Knew Ya on Hard. That is part of the free Dropkick Murpheys pack. AF.Now That's Impressive - Score 750,000 on a song 20G - Well use to this achievement could only be done on Through The Fire/Flames on expert if you pratically perfected the song. If you are a master you can do it on that. DLC that allows you to do it is the songs in the new DragonForce pack which costs 500 MS. The Devil Went Down to Georgia which is free in the Boss Battle Pack but is harder to do than Through Fire/Flames. If you are a big spender and really like Metallica, You can download the Death Magnetic full album for 1440 MS points. If you do download that, I've heard the 750,000 points is no problem on the song All Nightmare Long. AG.Axe Grinder - Earn 5 stars on all songs on the Easy difficulty 10G - This achievement shouldn't give anyone really any trouble, just almost perfect all the easy songs in career mode so you have 5 stars on them. AH.Rock Guru - Earn 5 stars on all songs on the Medium difficulty 20G - A little bit harder than Easy but not too much, Only songs that may give you trouble are some of the last tier songs. Just pratice a bit and you should get them. AI.Shredder - Earn 5 stars on all songs on the Hard difficulty 30G - This actually takes quite a bit of skill. It will take a lot of pratice to get this one, but just stick with it and you can do it. AJ.Guitar Hero - Earn 5 stars on all songs on the Expert difficulty 75G - This is gonna take you longer than Hard, You have to be near god at this game to do this. If you stick with it and are determined you will eventually be able to do it. AK.Perfectionist - 100% a song 10G - Just pick a song you are really good at, can be done on easy if you want, just don't miss a single note and this is yours. AL.Ready to Rock - Complete the tutorial 5G - There are 4 sections to the tutorial. just complete all four and this is yours, be warned, they drag out and are boring. AM.Axe Collector - Buy all the Guitars from the shop 5G - First you must unlock all the guitars, you do this by getting 5 stars on all the career difficulties in solo and co op or you can put in the unlock all cheat. AN.Track Master - Buy all songs from the shop 5G - There are 26 tracks at 500 dollars a piece. You can buy them or use the unlock all cheat. AO.Got 'em All - Buy all characters from the shop 5G - There are 5 total characters, you must first play through the career to unlock them all, then you can buy all of them, they are very expensive, you can save up or use the unlock all cheat. AP.A Couple of Streakers - Earn a 200 note streak in a Co-op match 5G - This can be done on a local game or online co op. This can be done on most easy songs. AQ.Two Timer - Earn a 500 note streak in a Co-op match 10G - This can be done on a local game or online co op. This can be done on most easy songs, probably ones that a little long. AR.Dynamic Duo - Earn a 1000 note streak in a Co-op match 15G - You can do this on most Medium songs, If you are looking for an easy song for this, Through The Fire and Flames has over 2000 notes on easy. Local or online co op. AS.Streak Masters - Earn a 2000 note streak in a Co-op match 20G - Through The Fire and Flames on easy is a good one. Story of My Life if both players are on expert is another good one. One on Medium is another good one. Just whatever you and your partner are comfortable with. Local or online co op. AT.Millionaire Club - Score 1,000,000 on any song in a Co-op match 20G - Well you and your friend could both do really well on Through The Fire and Flames on expert. Same songs I listed under the Now Thats Impressive achievement apply hear but all must be done with both players on expert. Local or Online Co Op. AU.Higher Than Most - Score 700,000 on any song in a Co-op match 20G - This can be done a a few songs. One with both players on Medium or Through The Fire and Flames. There are probably a good bit of DLC that this can be done with as well. Local or Online Co Op. AV.Easy Duo - Earn 5 stars on all Co-op songs for the Easy difficulty 10G - Same thing as solo but must be done in a co op career, local only. Not too hard. AW.Medium Duo - Earn 5 stars on all Co-op songs for the Medium difficulty 20G - Same thing as solo but must be done in a co op career, local only. A little harder than Easy but not too much harder. AX.Hard Duo - Earn 5 stars on all Co-op songs for the Hard difficulty 30G - Same thing as solo but must be done in a co op career, local only. Harder than Medium and may take a bit of pratice. Just work on the songs you can't quite get and you will get them eventually. AY.Living Legends - 5 Star all Co-op songs on Expert 75G - Same thing as solo but must be done in a co op career, local only. Harder than Medium, all I can really say is pratice, pratice and pratice some more on the songs that are giving you a hard time. AZ.Leaders of the Pack - 100% a song in a Co-op match 10G - Fairly simple, just you and your friend or partner pick a song that you are really good at and don't miss any notes, any difficulty, local or online co op. BA.Two by Four - Get an 8X multiplier in a Co-op game 5G - When in a co op game, when you have at least a 25 note streak you should have a 4x, when you have enough star power just you and your friend tilt your guitars at the same time or press select and it will turn 8x. BB.Half Mill' Club - Score 500,000 on any song in a Co-op match 10G - One on Medium is probably the easiest or Throught The Fire and Flames on Medium. Will probably have to about perfect either song. BC.Burnin' a Hole in Your Pocket - Buy everything from the store 10G - You can actually buy everything from the store legit or you can put in the unlock all code. You must 5 star every song on all 4 difficulties in both solo and co op career to be able to buy and unlock everything legit. BD.The Inhuman Achievement - Complete Through the Fire and Flames on Expert 15G - This is a great test of skill. You can't use any codes like no fail mode or anything to do this, must do it legit. The beginning is the hardest part, the hammer ons are really the key to passing the beginning. Just pratice and you will get it. Secret Achievements ------------------- BE.Tail Between Your Legs - Refuse a boss battle 0G - You have 3 chances to get this in a solo career, the first one is against Tom Morello, just refuse and you get this. BF.Blowin' It - Fail any song 10 times 5G - Quick way to do this is pick a song on expert and don't play just let it keep failing and just keep picking retry. BG.Almost Got It - Fail a song passed 90% completion 5G - Just play a song on medium or easy and then when right at the end, Start strumming up and down really fast so you will fail out. II.
