INTRO
============================================
This guide was created for those who are having difficulty in locating all of
the random characters in the game. Random characters will appear on your mini 
map as a little blue man icon whenever you are in a location near one. This 
guide will give you the exact location of the RC's and any known Prerequisites 
needed to unlock them. There are a total of 14 of them but only 10 are required
for 100% completion. Also once you complete an encouter you cannot immediately
attempt another one as the character will not be at the said location. Some
time must pass before you attempt to go for another encounter.

This guide was written while playing the Xbox 360 version of this game, but I 
don't think their is a difference between the PS3 version, but I may be wrong. 

ATTENTION! This guide may contain spoilers so please take note of this before
you read any further. This is my first guide so bare with me and enjoy! =]

1. BRIAN - FIRST ENCOUNTER

1.a SUMMARY

Brian is the first random character you meet in the game. You will only be 
able to meet Brian only after you complete Roman's Mission, "It's Your Call"
This encounter is necessary if you intend to complete the game 100%.

1.b LOCATION
-----------------------
For Brian's first encounter you will find him a few steps up from Roman's taxi 
cab company standing in front of an alley on Cisco St.

1.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Once you walk up to Brian you will initiate a conversation of some sort. Brian 
is a coked up junkie and he will basically be making fun of you. He will say 
that he's young rich and loaded the give you a $100 bucks. Thats it mission 
complete.

2. BRIAN - SECOND ENCOUNTER
====================================

2.a SUMMARY 
-----------------------
For Brian's second encounter you must first complete Roman's Mission, "it's 
your call" and Brian's first encounter. Please note that you cannot attempt
to complete Brian's second encounter immediately after his first because 
he will not appear at the said location. Some time must pass so I'd 
suggest you complete a few story missions to pass some time. This encounter
is also required for 100% completion.

2.b LOCATION
-----------------------
For Brian's second encounter he is located a block south from your safehouse 
on Crockett Ave right next to a Hot Coffee Shop.

2.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Get a car then follow the gps route to a dealer over on Montauk Ave. Pull
up to the marker and wait for Brian to get his stuff, when he gets back 
in the car take him over to Wappinger, he'll say thanks and give you $200 
mission complete.

3. BRIAN - THIRD ENCOUNTER
====================================

3.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
This is the third and final encounter for Brian. You must complete Brian's 
first and second encounter before attempting his final. You also must have
completed Roman's mission, "it's your call" and completed at least one
vigilante mission. Once again this encounter is required for 100% 
completion.

3.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Brian is located on the corner of Montauk Ave & Dillon St.

3.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you walk up to Brian he tells you he's clean and how he feels bad for  
all of the bad stuff he has done and wants to make things right. Get a car 
and take Brian over to his dealer. Once you get there pull up in to the marker.
Brian will ask you to stay in the car. Brian try's to apologize to his 
dealer but they don't wanna hear it instead he hits Brian with a bat. Get 
out of the car and gun the dealers down or you can just stay in the vehicle 
and do a drive by, your choice. Once the dealers are done with get back in 
the car and take Brian home. When you arrive Brian thanks you one more time
and pay's you $500 mission complete.

4. BADMAN - FIRST ENCOUNTER

4.a SUMMARY

Badman will be the second random character you come across. This will be the
first and only encounter for Badman. You must first complete Little Jacob's
mission, "Shadow" before you can encounter Badman. This encounter is also
required for 100% completion.

4.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Badman is located on Dukes Boulevard sitting on a bench in front of the Pill
Pharm Pharmacy.


-----------------------
4.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you walk up to Badman he tells you about some problems he is having with
some russians. I suggest having full health and armor before doing this 
mission. Also having an assualt rifle or an smg would be great but a pistol
will do. Get a car and take Badman over to the alley where the russians are
at. When you get to the area approach the alley from the carrollton St side.
immediately put your back against the left wall and pop out taking out the
first three guys. When they are delt with make your way down the alley while
crouched killing the rest of the russians. When you get down to one guy left
he might try and make a run for it so get up and gun him down before he 
escapes. Once you kill the last russian a cut scene will start and Badman
thanks you for your help and pays you $500 mission complete.

5. MEL - FIRST ENCOUNTER

5.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Mel is the third random character you meet. You should recognize him from 
the bar where you would meet Vlad. Mel will appear only after you complete
Manny's mission, "Escuela of the Streets" This is the first and only encounter
you will have with Mel. This encounter is also required for 100% completion.

5.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Mel is located by the police station on Mohawk Ave. He's a few feet from the 
police cruiser parked outside, standing next to a pillar.

5.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Mel wants you to take him to a meeting. Get a car if you don't already have 
one and follow the GPS route on the mini map to the meeting. When you arrive
Mel try's to pay off his debt but these guy don't wanna hear it. Once the 
scene is over pull out your pistol or whatever weapon you prefer and gun 
these guys down. You will most likely get a wanted level so once these 
guys are down make your way back into your car and pick up Mel then get 
out of there. If you have a wanted level you can easily make into the 
pay n' spray down the block easily without being spotted. Take Mel 
back to the spot from where you met him from. Mission complete you will
receive $500 for helping him.

6. IIYENA FAUSTIN - FIRST ENCOUNTER

6.a SUMMARY

Mrs. Faustin is the next random character you come accross. This is the first
and only encounter for Mrs. Faustin. She will appear only after you complete
Manny Escuela's mission "The Puerto Rican Connection" Mrs. Faustin's encounter
is required for 100% completion.

6.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Mrs. Faustin is located on the boardwalk of firefly island on Crockette Ave.
She will be standing next to The Corpse Ride.

6.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you walk up to Mrs. Faustin she tells you about how she's been struggling
since her husband's death. She wants this slimeball to stop seeing her daughter
and niko says he's willing to help but Mrs. Faustin wants no more killing. Get
a car and follow the GPS route to your location. Approach the guy and initiate 
the conversation with him. Now you have a choice to make here when your done
talking to the guy he will begin running, you can chase him done and ruff him
up a little just like Mrs. Faustin wanted or you can just shoot him in the back
as he's running. Either choice you make doesn't affect your gameplay, it just
determines the type of phone call you will get later on from Mrs. Faustin.

7. HOSSAN - FIRST ENCOUNTER

7.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Hossan is the next random character. He is the guy Niko was talking to in the 
opening cutscene. Hossan will appear once you complete Manny Escuela's mission,
"The Puerto Rican Connection" This is the first and only encounter for Hossan.
This encounter is also required for 100% completion.

7.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Hossan is located in Algonquin on the corner of Garnet St & Frankfort Ave 
selling knockoff handbags. 


-----------------------
7.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Get yourself an SMG with enough ammo before attempting this encounter. After 
you and Hossan catch up he wants you to take a walk with him to collect
his back pay. Get a fast car because you will need it. Follow the GPS route 
to the location. When you arrive Hossan will exit the car and ask that you 
wait in it while he goes to collect his money. The guy say's that he does
not want to pay an illegal immigrant and knocks Hossan down. Wait for Hossan
to get back in the car. As soon as Hossan gets back in the car floor it 
because the guy you're chasing is driving a Banshee so he can pretty much 
lose you pretty easy. The driver might crash sometime in the beginning of 
the chase so when he does this is your chance to unload on his car and take 
him out. Once the guy has been eliminated get out of your car and pick up 
Hossan's back pay. You will most likely have a wanted level so get the money
and hurry back to the car and lose your wanted level. Take Hossan back to an
alley near the area where you picked him up at. Hossan will thank you and 
says he needs to settle down. He gives you some of his back pay which is 
$500 mission complete.

8. SARA - FIRST ENCOUNTER

8.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Sara will be your next RC. Sara looks to be a prostitute. A bad looking 
one at that. This encounter will be the first of two. You must first 
complete Mannny Escuela's mission "The Puerto Rican Connection" before
attempting this encounter. Sara's encounters are required for 100%
completion.

8.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Sara is located in Algonquin at the Back Passage between Feldspar St &
Garnet St.

8.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
After Sara trys to throw herself at you get a car and take her over to her 
house. When you reach her home pull up into the marker and her husband 
will be there waiting at the steps. Sara tells him that you have been 
banging her brains out and now he wants to fight you. Now you have several
options of handling this situation, you can fight him, gun him down, or
just get back in your car and drive away.

9. SARA - SECOND ENCOUNTER

9.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
For Sara's second and last encounter you must first complete Manny Escuela's 
mission "The Puerto Rican Connection" and Sara's first encounter. Also for
Sara's second encounter she only appears at night. This encounter is also 
required for 100% completion.

9.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Sara is located in Algonquin in front of Pier 45 on Flatfish Plaice.

9.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Sara wants you to go and get a package for her. When your done talking to 
her get a car and follow the GPS route to the stores location. When you 
arrive walk up to the store owner to initiate a conversation. The owner
wants you to pay for the package. You can either pay the owner or you can 
just gun him down and take the package. If you gun him down you will 
aquire a wanted level so get the package and leave the store immediately.
Lose your wanted level once you have done so follow the GPS route back
to sara's location. Sara thanks you and gives you a $1000 mission
complete.

10. PATHOS - FIRST ENCOUNTER

10.a SUMMARY

Pathos is a rapper of some sort. This is the first of two encounters for
pathos. You must first complete Manny Escuela's mission, "The Puerto Rican
Connection" before Pathos will appear. This enncounter is also required for
100% completion.

10.b LOCATION 
-----------------------
Pathos is located in Algonquin on Denver-Exeter Ave in the Star Junction 
district standing in front of the Thespian Theaters.

10.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you walk up to Pathos he starts talking about his rapping struggles
and why he sells his music on the streets rather than moving on up. As
the two of you are talking some guy yells at Pathos saying that he sucks.
Make you way accross the street and take out the two guys that are beating
Pathos up. You can just pull out your pistol and quickly take them out.
Once they are dead Pathos says your're down and mission complete.

11. PATHOS - SECOND ENCOUNTER

11.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
This is Pathos second and final encounter. You must complete Pathos first 
encounter before attempting this one. This encounter is required for 100%
completion.

11.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Pathos is located in Algonquin not too far from his first encounter. He is
standing next to a statue at the Star Junction between Burlesque & Denver-
Exeter Ave.

11.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
For Pathos second encounter things get a bit more interesting. While your're
talking to Pathos some dude starts to call Pathos all types of names. As 
Pathos starts to run at him the gun shoots Pathos in the stomach. Quickly 
take the thugs out by whatever means you see fit. Once the thugs have been 
eliminated quickly get a car and get Pathos then rush him over to the 
hospital. When you arrive at the hospital Pathos thanks you a lot and says
he will put your name on his album. Watch as he limps away off screen
mission complete.

12. JEFF - FIRST ENCOUNTER

Jeff will be your next encounter. This will be the first of three encounters
for Jeff. You must first complete Playboy X's mission, "Photo Shoot" before
Jeff will appear. None of Jeff's encounters are required for 100% completion.

-----------------------
Jeff is located in Algonquin on the corner of Uranium St & Bismarck Ave.


-----------------------
12.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Walk you walk up to Jeff he'll be very angry and tell you that his wife is 
cheating on him. He tells you that his wife is upstairs with another man.
He want's you to follow them to the cafe and take pictures. Get in the
stallion provided and follow his wife over to the cafe. When they arrive
pull up behind her. They will exit the car and enter the cafe. Enter the 
cafe and walk upstairs to the second floor, pull out your cell phone and 
take a picture of the two of them then send ot to Jeff. Now leave the 
cafe to complete the mission. You will receive $1000 for this mission and
a phone call from Jeff immediately there after.

13. JEFF - SECOUND ENCOUNTER

13.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
For Jeff's second encounter you must first complete Playboy X's mission, 
"Photo Shoote" and complete Jeff's first encounter. Then after you complete
Francis McReary's mission, "Holland Nights" shortly after you will receive
a phone call from Jeff telling you to meet him in an underground parking
lot.

13.b LOCATION
-----------------------
After you receive Jeff's phone call, get a car and follow the GPS route
to the parking lot.


-----------------------
13.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you arrive at the parking lot pull up to Jeff, Niko will automatically
exit the car and start talking with Jeff. Jeff say's that his wife suffered 
an accident. He say's that she accidently stab herself 50 times. Jeff wants
you to take the car and dump it in the river with the body. Also keep in 
mind that Shirley's body is in plain view and if a cop see's her you will 
get a wanted level. Follow the GPS route to Walnut way and if a cop is in
you view just go another way to avoid them. When you reach your th area 
floor it towards the water and exit as you reach the edge. If you want also
you can just stay in the car when it goes over then exit either way you will
complete the mission. Niko calls Jeff to report that the job is done. You 
will receive $5000.

14. JEFF - THIRD ENCOUNTER
====================================

14.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Jeff's third and final encounter will take some time to appear so in the 
meantime just do some mission's and just check back frequently. You first
complete Playboy X's mission, "Photo Shoot" and Jeff's second encounter.
Once again none of Jeff's encounters are required for 100% completion.

14.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Jeff will be sitting on a bench in Algonquin near the corner of Denver Ave
& Feldspar St.


-----------------------
14.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Jeff will be sitting down on a bench looking through some binoculars. When
you walk up to him he recongnize's you and then starts running off at his 
mouth about how he needs a friend and that he got remarried. He then wants
Niko to kill his new wife when Niko refuses Jeff's get angry and run's 
into the street and get's hit by a car. Pick up the money that he dropped.
Remain at the scene to see something funny from the driver that hit him.

15. CHERISE - FIRST ENCOUNTER

15.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Cherise is Dwayne's ex-girlfriend. This is Cherise's first and only encounter.
This encounter is not required for 100% completion. You must first complete
Dwayne's mission, "Ruff Ryder" and spare Cherise's life, and also complete
Playboy X's mission, "The Holland Play".

15.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Cherise is located in Algonquin on the corner of Exeter Ave & Wardite St 
standing in front of the condemned Clucking Bell.


-----------------------
15.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Walk up to Cherise and after the little reunion of some sort, you find out that
cherise is getting beat by her new boyfriend. Niko volunteers to take care of 
it but cherise does not want you to kill him. Get a car and pick up Cherise. 
Follow the GPS route to the projects. When you arrive Niko ask's Cherise to
stay in the car. You have two ways you can deal with this punk, you can just
rough him up and do it the way Cherise wants you to, or you can just kill 
him. Which ever way you choose to do it doesn't matter, all it affects is 
the response you get from Cherise afterwards. Once you have delt with the 
new boyfriend go back and talk to Cherise. After Cherise is gone Niko calls
Dwayne. Dwayne then jealously ask's Niko if he and Cherise have a thing 
going.

16. MARNIE - FIRST ENCOUNTER

Marnie will be up next. She is a strung out teen. This is the first of two 
encounter's for Marnie. You must complete Packie McReary's mission, "Three
Leaf Clover" first before Marnie will appear. Both of Marnie's encounters
are required for 100% completion.

16.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Marnie is located in Algonquin sitting on a bench next to a water fountain
in the middle of Liberty Lane, Diamond St, & Denver Ave.

16.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you walk up to Marnie she will be really strung out and needs a fix 
really bad. She's begs you for money so Niko feels bad and decides to 
take her over to her dealer. Get a car and wait for Marnie to get in.
Then follow the GPS route over to her dealer. When you arrive at your 
destination pull up into the marker. Niko gives Marnie $500 and she 
thanks Niko and exits the car mission complete.

17. MARNIE - SECOND ENCOUNTER

For Marnie's second encounter you must first complete Packie McReary's 
mission, "Three Leaf Clover" and Marnie's first encounter. Once again 
both of Marnie's encounters are required for 100% completion.

17.b LOCATION

For Marnie's second encounter she can be found in Algonquin on the 
corner of Quartz St & Ivy Drive South.

17.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Marnie has really screwed up this time. She screwed over a john and 
now will probably be killed. She ask's Niko to take her over to the
station so she can get out of town and head back west with her 
parents. Once again, Niko feeling sorry for her agrees. Get a 
vehicle and pick Marnie up. Follow the GPS route to the station. 
When you arrive Marnie will thank Niko and then Niko gives Marnie
$500 mission complete.

18. EDDIE LOW - FIRST ENCOUNTER

18.a SUMMARY

Eddie Low will be your next RC. You must first complete Packie McReary's
mission, "Three Leaf Clover". Eddie Low is only available between the 
times of 22:00-04:00. Both of Eddie's encounters are required for 100%
completion.

18.c LOCATION
-----------------------
Eddie is located in Alderney in the opening of an alley right accross the 
street from AutoEroticar on Lockowski Ave near Keneckie Ave.

18.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Eddie wants you to give him a ride to the docks. He has a bag with body parts
in it that he wants to dump. Get a car and pick Eddie up. Follow the GPS route
to the docks. When you arrive at the docks Eddie instructs you to wait in the 
car while he drops the kids off. When he comes back he ask's you to take him 
over to Westminster. Follow the GPS route to the next destination. When you 
arrive Eddie thanks you and says he'll see you later mission complete.

19. EDDIE LOW - SECOND ENCOUNTER
====================================

19.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
One again you must encounter crazy Eddie. This is Eddie Low's second and final
encounter. For Eddie to appear the second time you must first complete Packie
McReary's mission, "Three Leaf Clover" and Eddie Low's second encounter. Also 
once again Eddie will only show up between the times of 22:00-04:00. Once 
again both of Eddie's encounters are required for 100% completion.

For Eddie's second encounter you will find him in Alderney standing in an
opening of an alley on Cockerell Ave between Aspdin Drive & Vitullo Ave.

19.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you approach Eddie he starts running off at his mouth about some really
sick twisted stuff. Niko then tell Eddie that he's not being cool and then 
Eddie snaps. Eddie will knock you down to the ground and try to kill you 
with a knife. you can easily gun him down but there is a chance you will
get a wanted level. So if you have a knife as well then make it a knife
battle, or you can just go at him with your fists, your choice. Once 
Eddie is dead the mission will be complete. So long to crazy Eddie.

20. IVAN - FIRST ENCOUNTER
====================================

20.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Ivan will only be available if you have completed Vlad's mission, "Ivan The
Not So Terrible" and spared his life and completed Packie McReary's mission,
"Three Leaf Clover". This is Ivan's only encounter and is not required for 
100% completion so if you killed him in Vlad's mission don't worry.

20.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Ivan will be located in Alderney on Farnsworth Rd near the corner of Mueri 
St.


-----------------------
20.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Ivan is a loan shark now and wants you to accompany him to a buisness 
transaction. Get a vehicle and get Ivan. Follow the GPS route to your
destination. When you arrive Niko and Ivan exit the car and walk over 
to the guy that borrowed from Ivan. The guy tells Ivan and Niko to get 
out or else. You now must protect Ivan and take out the thugs. Once 
you have eliminated everyone go back and talk to Ivan. Ivan calls you 
an animal and thanks you then gives you $1000 as a gift mission complete.

21. CLARENCE - FIRST ENCOUNTER

21.a SUMMARY

This is the first and only encounter for Clarence. You must first complete 
Francis McReary's, "Holland Nights" and spare Clarences life. You must 
also complete Francis McReary's mission, "Blood Brothers" before Clarence
will appear. This encounter is not required for 100% completion.

21.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Clarence is located in Algonquin on Vauxite St near the corner of Astoria.


-----------------------
21.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
When you walk up to Clarence he asks if you remember him, then he says that 
he will not beg anymore and then starts to wave a gun. Niko will start to 
back up and automatically have his back against a wall. Just pop out or use
blind fire and gun Clarence down. Once he is done the mission is complete.

22. GRACIE - FIRST ENCOUNTER

22.a SUMMARY
-----------------------
Gracie will be the last random character you will meet. She's the chick you 
kidnapped for Gerry McReary. You must first complete Gerry McReary's 
mission, "Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend" and then wait three game days
for a call from Gerry about protecting the family. Then you can proceed to 
Gracie's location. This is the only encounter for Gracie and this last 
encounter is required for 100% completion.

22.b LOCATION
-----------------------
Gracie is located in Alderney standing out in front of her house at the end 
of Babbage Drive.

22.c WALKTHROUGH
-----------------------
Park a car in front of Gracie before you walk up to her. Once you walk up to
her she recognize's you and starts screaming and yelling saying you're the 
one who kidnapped her. She then calls five guys to get you. Put your back 
against the car you parked and shoot the guy up top in the balcony of Gracie's
house first. Then kill the two guys to the left in front of the house and then
kill the last two down the alley at the side of Gracie's house. If your able 
to don't forget to collect the money Gracie's thug drop, it's fairly a lot 
of money. Once you have killed all the thugs the mission is complete and Gracie
is no where to be found. Congratulations On Completing All Of The Random 
Character's Missions.
