hi its me again, mast3r ch3f 93 and this is my gears of war xbox 360 walkthrough The game starts with you (Marcus Fenix) serving out time in a prison cell as Wretches run rampant through the grating above you. You are broken out of the cell by a soldier named Dominic "Dom" Santiago, who will supply you with your gear and tell you about how the prison has been evacuated. You need to exit the cell and head right, where Dom is standing in the corridor. Dom will ask you if you need to get in some training or if you want to head straight into combat. When you have decided what do do press either the right or the left trigger. If you decided to go straight to combat skip the next section and go straight to combat Training You need to enter the next room look for the red skull and cog design on the rubble. It's straight ahead after entering the room. Move towards it and there will be a blue Cog Tag on the ground that you can pick up. A helicopter is going to fly over and fire a missile at the building you're in. Dom gets on the radio and calls off the attack. Follow him up the stairs on your right. Once you're up the stairs you should go towards the button on the wall and press the action button (x) to open the door. In order to open the next door you need to shoot the circuit breakers. Use the look button to locate the breakers. Use the manual aim and zoom in with the left trigger and then fire with the right trigger. After you have demolished the breakers you can now open the door. Once you walk through the door you are in a room that will allow you to work with your cover commands. Continue on after you're familiar with the different cover options. In the next room make sure you pick up the ammo box and continue to activate the door. After you kick in the door, head down the catwalk to the left. When you go through the next door you will encounter some Locusts. Dom will tell you to take cover against the wall and this is what you should do. While you are taking cover, fire and destroy the enemy. Continuing on the bridge you will notice a helicopter fly by and a tower falling. You are going to have to activate the switch and then run through the door. If you don't run you won't make it into the next room in time. Walk past the corpses hanging on the other side of the door. You are going to turn right and walk downstairs. Walk through the doorway and pick up the grenades. In the next room there will be some Locusts down below. Throw a grenade towards them and destroy them. This is where the combat section would start. Continue down the catwalk and go downstairs. Once your downstairs hide behind the concrete block that will give you a straight shot towards the door. The Locusts are going to saw through the door and attack. Get a grenade ready for when they burst through the door, and start laying down fire to take them out as quickly as possible. Once you have destroyed all the Locusts, find the red skull graffiti on a pillar behind you. Walk over and pick up the Cog Tag on the ground and head out the blasted out door. When you walk through the door you end up in a courtyard crawling with Locusts. Before you destroy them go to the stairs on the left side of the courtyard. Once you're up these stairs there is another Cog Tag. After you pick up the Cog Tag go back to Dom and destroy whatever Locusts remain. After the Locusts are dead you'll be told that something is moving under the ground and you need to run to helicopter. A cut scene follows, and the first chapter is complete. Chapter 2: Trial By Fire After the helicopter ride you meet Delta Squad, Colonel Hoffman, and Anna, the communications officer. Your squad is instructed to find the missing Alpha Squad. After a cut scene Locusts arrive on the stairs. They are taken care of by the King Raven flying above. Continue up the stairs. Once at the top head inside towards the inner courtyard. Once you're in the courtyard, three Locusts will attack, take care of them and then you will locate another Cog Tag. Follow your squad picking up ammo on the way and head upstairs. You will find yourself in an outdoor area with big pillars. Locusts will be attacking you from the front, and your squad-mates will tell you to flank left. Next to the first pillar is a box of ammo and a couple frag grenades that you can snatch. Once you work your way to the left, you'll get a good shot at the Locusts firing at your squad. At this point, an emergence hole will open up at the end of the path. If you can see it, toss a frag grenade into it, otherwise just take out the Locusts as they emerge. Once you have taken care of all the enemies you will follow your squad to the left of the emergence hole. Four more Locusts will appear that you need to take care of. Once you destroy them, you're going to keep moving until you come to a bridge leading into the building. You'll see a fallen soldier from Alpha Squad next to a van below the bridge. After a short conversation, Kim will open the building, and then you can proceed. The inside of the building is a large room. There will be some Locusts in there for you to shoot down. Once you are in the building an emergence hole is going to open where the statue is. Throw a frag grenade and seal the hole up. After you have taken care of the hole and the enemies you will move past it and another emergence hole is going to open up on your left side. Take care of the hole and the enemies and you will find a Cog Tag in the grass near the second emergence hole. You are going to head outside and check out the van you saw from the bridge earlier. Chapter 3: Fish In A Barrel When you are checking out the area around the van you are going to get ambushed by Locust. One Locust is firing at you from a Troika turret. The easiest way to take care of the Locust is to flank right. You will gain some ammo. After you get the ammo you will run into a Locust. Kill him and it will be clear sailing until you get in position to take out the Troika. Once you have entered the alcove take out the Troika gun, you can then use the turret to take out the rest of the Locusts. After you have taken care of the Locusts you are going to advance until more Locusts spawn. You should be able to easily kill them. If you are having trouble or want to conserve ammo you can run back to the Troika and to kill the Locusts. Once you have destroyed the Locusts, continue moving forward until you come to a large area with a circular fountain in the middle of the area. Inside the fountain you will find more ammo and frag grenades which you are going to need. An emergence hole will appear and you need to close it as soon as possible. After you have that one closed three more will appear. If you don't close the emergence holes in time you are going to have a lot of Locusts firing at you while you have minimum cover to work with. So be sure to use the (y) button to locate the emergence holes as soon as you hear the rumbling. After you have taken care of all the emergence holes and Locusts, face the fountain from the area you came. If you head towards the back-left corner of the area you will find a Cog Tag and ammo. Load up and exit the area through the path in the back right. Chapter 4: Fork In The Road In the next part you and Dom are going to split up. You are going to have to get use to this because it happens several times throughout the game. Choose the left path and you will see a couple of Locust that you need to kill. After killing the locust you should have a good shot on the Troika gun that is pinning down your squad mates who took the right path. Continue throught the door and your squad is back to full force. In this room you will notice a Troika gun laying down some heavy fire. Flank right and you will come to a door which you can kick in run up the stair and take out the Locust. After that you will have a clear shot at the Troika gun. Kill the locust operating the gun and any other Locust in the area. After you have done this you should go and operate the Troika gun yourself destroying whatever Locust come from the area you originally came in from. After you will need to destroy the enemy who comes in behind you. After you kill him exit through the door he entered. Chapter 5: Knock Knock You are going to have to deal with a cutscene which is going to frce you to walk you are going to continue down the corridor until you arrive a t a door. kick the door in and it will lead you to an outdoor area. As you get closer to the stairs you will notice Reavers fly by on your left and a car falling into a gigantic hole in the sidewalk. Move towards the hole in the sidewalk if you follow the edge of the sidewalk as far as it goes up the stairs you will locate a CogTag. Continue and you will reach a checkpoint. After that you are going to need to take cover because your going to have a bunch of enemies to deal with. The best way to clear the area is head to the right a grenadier it going to pop out of the double door. You can take him out just like any other Locust. You need to get through the door he came out of make sure to use your cover so you don't take to much damage. Head down the hallway and you'll here the familiar sound of an emergence hole. In order to close it you need to move up a little further and look to the right of the large vase and the hole will be in the middle of the alcove. Next you will want to take out the Troika gun. Your squad will call you over to regroup but you just have to step a little to the side of the Troika gun to trigger the cutscene. Locusts are going to spawn and start attacking you. All you have to do is use the Troika gun and mow them down. You will then notice that a large double door opens to your right. You are going to need to approach on foot in order to kill the Locust that emerge. You have earned yourself another checkpoint Chapter 6: Hammer When you move through the door you are going to hear a Cog on the radio. Go up the stairs to the right and look off the balcony. You'll see a soldier fighting a group of Locust all by himself. You can take out a few of the Locust from the balcony but eventually a door will open on your right. Go through the door and down the stairs and kill the Locusts attacking the soldier. You have just met Augustus Cole. After the cinemas you are going to head back to the hallway with the stairs. Take the left staircase, follow Kim and he'll open the doors. This is where you have your first encounter with the wretches they will run straight towards you. They are pretty easy to destroy with your Lancer. After you destroy the first batch you need to watch all sides because wretches will start to attack you from another area. Once you have destroyed all the wretches walk towards the area where you saw you first wretch. You will find a CogTag on the right wall. Enjoy the cutscene. After Jack opens the door run through it and in the middle part of the room you will come across the Hammer of Dawn. It is located next to the dead corpse and ammo box. You are going to need this as your secondary weapon. Another door will be opened which leads outside, you are going to go through it and you will notice a Seeder to the far right. You use the Hammer of Dawn by aiming at the seeder, then you hold the right trigger. In a lil bit the Hammer will unleash its power on your enemies. You can still move the Hammer around while firing if you need to. Head over the bridge and take care of any Locust that have spawned. You are going to pass the area the seeder was enter a door to the right that will lead you back inside. Go throught the room and into the corridor. You will run into a seeder and you are going to do the same thing to this seeder as you did the first with the Hammer of Dawn. You will then have to deal with wretches and other Locust just kill them with your Lancer like you would any other time. A door will open on your left go pas the door to load up on ammo on the balcony then you are going to go down the stairs on your left. As soon as you get downstairs you are going to have some some wretches kill. If you are low on grenades you can stock up they're on the right. Continue through the corridor to where the Seeder was. A door will open on your left. Go through the door and into the chapel. You will have a few wretches and a Locust to deal with. After you have taken care of them move past the podium and down the stais. You will see the corpse of Rojas. If you are at the base of the stair and turn right you will see a CogTag behind the pillar. Chapter 7: Wrath It is now time for you to get going. Head on the next room up the stairs to the left. You are going to pass the large statue and the room will have furniture in it. Locust will spawn and you will kill them. Keep going you will come to an overhang with a shot at the final Seeder. Destroy the Seeder and head back to the room with the furniture. Prepare yourself for the Locust breaking throught the baricaded door after the dialect. Destroy the Locust and enter the corridor they emerged from. You are going to head to the right and keep moving and hurdling rocks that get in your way. You will eventualy enter a room with a bunch of desks and a few Locust. Destroy the Locust and then continue down the hall in the far right of the room. Once you get to the area of the corrider with rock cover get ready for Locust to spawn. After you kill them you cross a checkpoint. Continue down the hall to anoher hall. You will run into a Troika gun firing on you. Move in and the the right there will be a path. Kill the wrethches that attack you and you will run into some stairs that will bring you out behind the Troika gun. destroy the Troika gunner and man the Troika gun yourself, destroying wretches as them spawn. You are then going to leave going down the path to the right of the Troika platform. You can stock up some ammo down the stairs to the right. You are going to leave towards the left until you arrive at a room that will contain four or five Locust, kill them and stock up on more ammo if needed. Further into the room and on the left you will come across another set of stairs. These will take you to a court room with a table in the middle. Go up the stairs in order to take out the Troika gunner. You then are going to open fire on the massive of Locust. If you still have the Hammer of Dawn this will do a great job on the Locust. Once you have taken care of the Locust you will get to enjoy another cutscene. Chapter 8: China Shop Alright so you've made it to the boss fight. Head down the hall on the left where the corpse is and pick up a CogTag. Now you are ready to defeat the Berserker. Head down the hall until the Berserker breaks through the wall. You need to keep your distance and whatever you do don't let the Beserker melee you, you will be killed in one hit. Now that she has broken through the wall take a sharp right and run until you reach a door. You won't be able to open it. You need to wait for the Berserker to charge at you and you must jump out of the way at the last second. You are going to run through the door until you reach the second door. Do the same thing. You will reach a third door, if you look to the left at the alcove you can pick up a CogTag. Then you are going to have the Berserker charge you and jump out of the way at the last minute one more time. As the Berserker busts through this door it will lead you outside. Once you are outside you should go towards the left side of the courtyard. In the grass behind the concrete blocks is another CogTag. You are now ready to destroy the Berserker. Break out the Hammer of Dawn and do your damage. Be sure to keep dodging the Berserker between charges and don't let her get to close to you. Once the Berserker is dead you have finished the first act. Congratulations! Act: Nightfall Chapter 1: Tick Tick Boom You are going to have to move to the right until arrive at the area where you have an option to split up. The left side will lead you to a dead end so choose the right. Head straight until you see a set of stairs on your left. When you move into the room past the stairs you will see a cutscene. A couple Boomers will enter a door into the room of the left path. You are going to fire on the Boomers and avoid being killed. After you killed the Boomers pick up some ammo and continue, you will be attacked in a corridor, after you destroy your enemies a door will open into a room with a catwalk. Pick up the ammo if you need. The catwalk leads you outside. Once your outside you will get ambushed by enemies on both sides. After you have dealt with the enemies move forward a bit. Your next objective will be to take control of the Troika. You will have to deal with Locust and Wretches as you get in firing position on the Troika. Once you have destroyed the Troika gunner you will be reunited with your squad. After you have stocked up on ammo and grenades head towards the door under the flickering lights behind the Troika gun. Wait for Jack to open the door for you. Once you head through the door it will bring you through an alley into another room. There is a couch in the room hiding a CogTag. You can access the CogTag by chainsawing the couch. You are ready to move on. Chapter 2: Grist You are going to find your self outside in the middle of an ambush. There will be Locusts, a Sniper, and a Boomer. Take the Boomer out first. Then you can just do your typical cover aim kill to destroy the rest of the enemies. Their will be a door at the right edge of the area, exit through it, it will take you inside a room with a few generators. Follow the catwalk, when you get near the end you will run into some wretches. Kill them and head into the next area. You will encounter more wretches from the ground and the ceiling. Destroy them and head down the stairs. Underneath the stairs is a CogTag, take it and continue. You are going to run into the Corpser again this time he spawns some Locust to destroy. After you kill the Locust fill up on your ammo and head down the path on the right towards the barricades. You are going to encounter more enemies including a Troika. Run towards the car in the middle of the road and use it as cover. You can move the car by hitting the x button. Continue to do this until you can't move the car anymore. You then should run towards the sideways van as your next cover, once there you will find some grenades if you need them. Use a grenade to take out the gunner. Use a grenade to close the emergence hole in the far left of the room, if you have trouble doing this you are just going to have to take them out one by one. There is ammo in the back left part of the area if you are running a little low. After you have killed the enemies and reloaded continue past the emergence hole and towards the left. Head up the stairs and watch as the game points out the gatekeep. Behind some mail boxes in the far left part of the area is another CogTag. After you have the CogTag you are ready to talk to the gatekeeper. Get in the camp and enjoy the cutscene Chapter 3: Outpost This is a realativly simple chapter. Move in and to the left, you will see a door to kick in. Walk through the hallway until reach another door to kick down and you are done. Good job! Chapter 4: Lethal Dusk Ok you are going to find yourself outside being attack by 3 or 4 Locust. There is a sniper in the shed straight ahead of you. In order to deal with the sniper shoot the propane tank near the shed. Pick up the sniper rifle and destroy the rest of the enemies. Head to the right part of the area where you will come across a raft down some stairs. Get on te raft, hit x, and you will grab a hold of the steering wheel. You can turn the wheel with a to get across. Once you are halfway across the river you will see a cutscene. Get to the other end of the river. You must stay in well lit areas or you will be devoured by the Kryll. If you think you are in an area with no well lit path through look around for propane tanks. Propane tanks are placed throughout the level for you to blow up and provide light. You are going to head up the stairs towards a checkpoint. The light above you will fail and there is a tent to the right with ammo if you need, otherwise you are going to head towards the fire burning in the barrel. Head in the door, that will take you back inside. head through the area and you will find yourself outside with an emergence hole opening in the back of the area. Destroy the propane tank in front of the emergence hole. Head towards the emergence hole. Once you are there you will see another propane tank to your left and a shed. Blow up the propane tank and proceed into the shed. This is where you will find another CogTag. Head back to the emergence hole. You will notice another propane tank to your left Destroy it and proceed towards it. You will see yet another propane tank with a metal sheet and a chair. Some enemies will spawn in the background. You just have to keep destroying the propane tanks and taking cover. Eventually you will be able to run into a building. Once in the building move towards the window on your right. You will have a clear shot at the Troika gun from here. You can also destroy the rest of the enemies from here. Turn around and head towards the door in the far left corner. You'll run into a Wretch on your way, kill him. Go through the door, head upstairs, kick in another door, and you will find yourself outside again. An Emergence hole is going to appear on your far right, head towards the building attached to the one you just came out of. Inside the building you will have to take care of a few Wretches but this will give you a better angle on the emergence hole. It also will give you a clear shot at a propane tank that you can destroy to take out a few extra enemies. After you close the emergence hole you will see a propane tank explode and a door open. Head into the door, it will take you down a path that leads you back outside. You are going to take cover behind the car and push it towards the Troika gun again. After you've pushed the car as far as it can go run to the left and into the building. It will lead you to the Troika Gun take it and use it to destroy the Locust. After you've destroyed the Locust Anya will instruct you to head down the pitch black alley. Before you do this move down the hallway to an overhang which will give you a shot at a propane tank. Shoot this propane tank and your alley will now be lit. Following the alley will lead you to a door which you are going to enter it leads you inside and then through another door bringing you back outside. Kill the Locust and shoot the propane tank in the middle of the area. Once you start moving to your left an emergence hole is going to open in the back of the area. You need to take cover and shoot the dresser drawer adjacent to the left wall, and the propane tank. You can head to the emergence hole and take care of it. From here you should be able to locate a propane tank which is in the back right. After you shoot this propane tank run to it and you will be able to see another propane tank to your left. You will find yourself at a big steet facing a building. On the roof of the building is a spotlight. Run towards the building throught the lighted path. Once the checkpoint is triggered head back to where you started in the dark spot to the left are CogTags. You are going to have to commit suicide to get them so make sure you have reached the checkpoint. After you have the tags run back to the building and head up to the roof where the spotlight is. Use this to guide Dom across the yard. Once he has safely made it across he will turn on some lights so it will be safe for you to go and join him. On your way to meet up with your squad you will run into some Wretches. After killing the wretches and meeting up with your squad you will have reached another checkpoint. An amergence hole is going to pop up. Use the car as cover and neutralize the emergence hole. You need to sprint across a patch of darkness to a lighter area. Once in the lighted area there will be a propane tank under a metal sheet to your right. Head towards the propane tank and to the right and you will trigger another cutscene. Chapter 5: Dark Labyrinth So you find yourself inside a building with some sketchy lighting. If you move through the room too fast you will find yourself in the dark so be sure to take your time and don't get ahead of the light. You are going to start by moving forward and turn left. A light should lead you to a door. You are going to go throught the door. A wretch will spawn behind you keep going, kick down the door a few moer Wretches are going to spawn. Continue down the hall and take a right. There will be a dresser blocking the door, just chainsaw the dresser and kick down the door. Wait for the lights to go on and enter the kitchen. Head through the doorway to trigger the lights but you are going to turn around and kill the Wretches that spawned as they enter the doorway one by one. Continue through the door and down the hall. You will eventually be lead outside. Once outside you will notice a pushable car, but before pushing the car turn to your right and get the CogTags. There is a propane tank that you are going to shoot which will start the car slipping down the hill. Run behind the car and head towards the gas station. This will trigger a cutscene. Chapter 6: Powder Keg You need to get gas for the APC. You can do this by hitting x to grab the gas pump handle and tapping a to run it. You then are going to run into the gas station and fill up on ammo. You should then head for the room with the boarded windows because you are about to be ambushed by the Locust. You are going to have to take out the Locust. The first wave will come from the left. If you can't take them all out from inside you might have to head outside. Make sure you don't shoot the gas pumps or use them for cover because if to many of them explode or your APC you'll blow the gas station up and die. The second wave is going to come and after you defeat them you will get on the APC and escape. Chapter 7: Burnt Rubber You are going to be driving the APC throughout this level. You have to destroy Kryll as you go along. Right trigger is the gas. Left trigger is the breakand reverse. X swaps you and the other person whether you're driving or shooting. If you're the gunner left trigger zooms and right trigger fires. You can't be driving and firing at the same time so you need to take this into consideration. The easiest way to beat the level is to know where the Kryll are and destroying them before they become an issue. When you start the level you will see the first wave spawning out of the window of the tower straight ahead. After you have cleared the area you are going to continue ahead and the next wave will spawn from the windows facing the street on the right building, then the midleft, and finally behind you. After you clear this area you are going to continue until you encounter more from the front left then behind you and then the front left again. Once cleared keep moving forward and exit to the right. Take a left once you exit and go straight until you have to turn. When you have to turn take a right. As you hit the underpass another wave will spawn straight ahead. After you have cleared the wave continue straight as long as you can and taking rights when you have to. Eventually you will get on an onramp back onto the freeway. A wave will spawn in the front left and after they are cleared a few will spawn behind you. Then you are going to have to deal with a lot to the back and the right. After this wave is clear you are going to head forwards for a bit and enounter one last wave. It will appear on the far right. After this last wave has been cleared you have cleared the level. Chapter 8: Last Stand Head to the Troika you will want to get on the Troika in order to take out all the Locust that are going to emerge from the emergence holes. After a while your Y button will zoom towards a loose rock and leaking gas pipe. Shoot these items to take out a few enemies. After killing multiple enemies an enormous emergence hole will pop out and three Boomers will appear. You will notice that a huge gas tank rolls over and begins to leak. This will allow you a shot at some propane tanks. Shoot the propane tanks and the explosion will force the gas tank to explode and destroy the Boomers. Emjoy the cutscene Act: Belly Of The Beast Chapter 1: Downpour Start out by heading forward until you reach a door. This door will lead you into the factory. Watch the cutscene. You will find yourself splitting up with your squad. You and Dom will go to the right There will be ammo for you to pick up if you need it. Further ahead you will run into Lambent Wretches. Try to destroy them before they get to close. They explode after you kill them and do a fair amount of damage. After you kill waves of the Lambent Wretches continue towards the hallway. A few more wretches will spawn that you need to kill and throught the hallway. You will keep going past a brick building to your right. Before the second building there will be a CogTag on your right that you should pick up. Leaving the dock you want to take a right and follow the path. There will be a brick building on your left but you want to keep going until you reach the final building. Hit the green button and head back to the building that was on your left with the elevator. You will need to kill a wretch and then get yourself into the elevator and hit the action button. The elevator brings you to the roof. Follow the path to you right and move towards the building. There will be an open window that you will jump into and continue down the path to your right. Watch the cutscene. Chapter 2: Evolution You start this chapter with the option of taking a left or a right. Take a left because the right is only going to lead you to a dead end. As your moving down the path on the left you will pass a pipe with steam blowing out and then you will come to a door on your left. Inside that door is ammo if you need. As you continue you will come to another door. Continue and take your first left which will take you into a room with generators. As you enter the door you will trigger a cutscene and the lights will turn on. Enter the room and take a left once you open the door you will encounter a stranded who will lead you out. Exit the room and follow the stranded into the room with the wooden planks. You need to make sure you stand on the right plank otherwise you will fall through just like the stranded. If you do happen to fall just run to the ladder on the wall and climb out, otherwise you are going to have to deal with a lot of Lambent Wretches. In order to make it across without falling you are going to want to start on the planks to the right of the entrance, move forward three squares and turn left. Now you are going to walk all the way to the wall. Once you've reached the wall you are going to turn right and keep walking straight until you reach the plank with the Cog Tag graffiti. Then you are going to turn right and walk back towards the other wall. Don't go all the way to the wall you are going to want to stop on the 3rd plank from the wall, now you want to turn left and walk all the way to the wall you are now facing. Take a right and you'll be able to grab the Cog Tag and have a safe journey to the exit. Once you've grabbed the ammo if you need you are going to head straight through another door which will lead you into a small room that leads you to another door. When you go through this door it is going to lead you to a large room with a bunch of rusting carts and Lambent Wretches. If you are having trouble go back into the small room and it will act as a funnel to help you deal with all the Lambent Wretches. Once you've dealt with the Lambent Wretches head through the room, you will come to a rail that you can look over and see water. Go to the right you will have to deal with a wretch and eventually you'll be able to go to your right into a room and turn a valve. Theres a room on your right with some guns and ammo if you need, otherwise follow the other path and down the stairs. There will be a sniper rifle and some ammo to use. In the next room you are reunited with your squad. You need to turn the valve to exit the the room. After you turn the valve go through the gates. There will be a Lambent Wretch on a roof for you to destroy and a few Locust. After you cleared out the area take the path to the left. You'll come to a wall and have the option to go right or left, go left. You'll come to a door, after Jack opens it an elevator will fall with a Boomer. Kill the Boomer and you'll be able to get in. You'll find your self in the room with the carts. Go down the stairs and to the right of the staircase in the weeds will be a Cog Tag. After you have the tag go to the control panel, hit the button, and start the next chapter. Chapter 3: Coalition Cargo You are going to get the control panel runing and then hop into a cart. You can just stay ducked down in the cart until Anya changes your course. Get ready to fire at the roof in front of you. Lambent Wretches will jump down towards you. After you clear the Lambent Wretches duck back inside your cart. When you get to an open area and Locust start firing at you, you don't need to fire back just stay ducked down in the cart. The cart will take you into a tunnel. Lambent Wretches are going to be falling from the ceiling again and you are going to have to take them out. There will also be a Locust on the left that you can kill or duck back into the cart. After this area is clear and you are moving towards the elevator duck in the cart and hide until the end of the ride. You need to open the door and you are going to enter a small room. When you go to open the next door a Lambent Wretch is going to fall from the ceiling vent. Once you have cleared the area head through the door. Keep going throught the next door which will lead you to a tunnel where you'll have to deal with a few Wretches. Continue and you will come to a spot that has two catwalks. After talking to Anya you will have to take out a couple Boomers. Use your sniper rifle and this should be fairly easy. After you kill the Boomers move on the platform and go inot the caves. Chapter 4: Darkest Before Dawn As you are moving through the caves you will come to a fork. Take the right path, go to the end stock up on ammo, and pick up the Cog Tag. Head back to the fork and take the left path this time. You'll run into some Lambent Wretches. After you clear the area continue forward. It will be just you and Dom again and a few more Wretches will appear. After you've taken them out continue and you will slide down and end up in water. When you continue you will have to deal with some Locusts. After the Locusts have been taken care of go to your right, you will get to a set of stairs and past the puddle of blood there will be a Cog Tag. There's some ammo in the door next to Cog Tag. After you're all loaded up continue down the path. After the rock column is pointed out you will shoot it which will take care of the sniper. As you continue forward you are going to have to deal some more Lambent Wretches, a Boomer will appear on the far right with a few more wretches. After you have cleared the area continue to the far left where you'll fall through a hole into a new area. In this area you are going to start out by dealing with a bunch of Wretches that are going to come from above. Once they are dealt with head towards the light. After you split and continue down your path you are going to have some Wretches and Locust to deal with. You are going to continue and Wretches and Locusts will continue to spawn. Once you've cleared the area you have cleared the section. Move down to the left and you'll be in an area with plenty of cover. You are going to have to deal with Wretches, Locusts, and then some more Locusts. Once you've killed them you are going to enter a cavern area. Follow the wall on your right and you will find another Cog Tag. Continue to the Corpser and get ready for the boss battle. Chapter 5: Angry Titan To beat this boss you are going to start out by shooting him in his belly. After you cause him to move in pain he will expose his face. Take advantage of this and shoot him in his face. He will move backwards. After doing this a few times he will end up on a piece of rock that is connected to the ground by clamps. Shoot out the clamps and the Corpser will fall and be destroyed. If you don't do this in a timely matter the Corpser will shake the ground spawning Lambent Wretches. After the Corpser falls to his demise continue forward. Chapter 6: Tip of the Iceburg There will be a bunch of ammo for you in the middle of the road. Stock up if necessary, down the right path is a torque bow. You are now ready to go down the left path. You and Dom will split up from the rest of the squad. Take the left path, you are going to have to defeat waves of enemies to get to the platform. There are going to be Theron Guards with torque bows and some with lancers. You will take out as many enemies as possible and get on the platform, use your cover and be careful. Once you're on the platform hit the elevator button and watch the scene that ends Act 3. Act: The Long Road Home Chapter 1: Campus Grinder As you continue a group of Locust will appear from the building on your far left. Along the buildings on your right there will be a Cog Tag. Grab it then prepare to destroy multiple enemies. After the first wave more Locust and a Theron Guard will appear from the buildings on your right. Once this wave is destroyed a couple Boomers and Snipers will appear. After you have cleared the area you and Dom are going to have to split up. If you take the right path you will wind up in a courtyard. You will have to kill to Locust Drones and then a few more will spawn along with a Theron guard in the back left. Clear the area and continue. You will run into a few Locust and there will be a Seeder. After you destroy the Seeder an emergence hole is going to appear in the middle of the courtyard. You can use the Hammer of Dawn to take care of the emergence hole. After you've taken care of the emergence hole you won't be able to move until your squad mates on the left get to a valve that will open the gate for you. Head through the gate you will have to deal with enemies on the street. You then head into a building and you will take out a Troika gunner from up above. After this you will regroup with you squad and deal with the remaining enemies. You are then going to shoot the white pickup truck holding the propane tanks. This explosion will open the gate for you. Chapter 2: Bad To Worse Head to the car on your far right. Behind this car you will be able to find a Cog Tag. After you have collected the tag you are going to face left and walk forward. You will find yourself in another enclosed courtyard waiting for Jack to open a door. When Jack is working on the door an emergence hole is going to pop up where you picked up your Cog Tag. If you have the Hammer of Dawn this is the easiest way to deal with the emergence hole. If you don't have one there is one on the corpse near the door Jack is opening. once you deal with the emergence hole two Boomers are going to spawn. After you deal with these guys Jack will be through with the door. Enter the door, there will be a few Hammer of Dawns laying around and it will be very quiet. You are going to have to deal with another Beserker. You are going to need to avoid him the same way you did with your first encounter except this time you are going to end up in a greenhouse. You need to lure the Berserker into the green house and make him run into one of the poles. This will allow the roof to collapse making the Hammer of Dawn online. You will then use the Hammer of Dawn to take out the Berserker. After the Berserker is dead you are going to turn the valve in the room witch will put out the fire and allow you to exit. Chapter 3: Hazing Hopefully you were able to take care of the Beserker with enough time left to continue to use the Hammer of Dawn. You are going to head towards the courtyard with the statue and then take a left into another courtyard There will be a Troika Gunner and an Emergence hole will pop up right next to him. Use the Hammer of Dawn to seal the Emergence hole and take out the Troika Gunner easily. After you have dealt with the rest of the enemies you can expect another Emergence hole to open behind you. Once again use the Hammer of Dawn to seal the hole and then take care of the remaining enemies. Once you have taken care of the enemies you are going to jump over the pipes blocking your way. Once you enter this area the Hammer of Dawn will be offline. You are going to encounter a Theron Guard and some Nemecyst on the roof. Then there will be Locusts coming from the far left. After you take care of the first wave a few more Locust will spawn. Destroy these Locust, then a Boomer will spawn from the far left. Take care of the Boomer and continue through the door he exited from. You are going to pass a dead Seeder and kick down a door. Once through the door you will see a Theron Guard run into an alley. As you chase him you are going to hit a checkpoint and then turn to your right. After going ahead a bit you will run into some Locust coming from the stairs on your left. After killing the Locust a Boomer will appear. Once all the enemies are destroyed head up the stairs and to your left. Just keep following the path and you'll go through a door that continues down a path which will eventually bring you to a checkpoint and a new chapter. Chapter 4: Close To Home Stay on the balcony this is where you will have the best shots and defensive position. As you are clearing out the enemies below you, you might run low on ammo. If this is the case there is a bunch of ammo against the right wall. After the area is clear you should head down the left path. A group of Locust are going to attack you once you get near the gravestones. Kill them and continue. You will find yourself heading towards a statue, you should use this statue as cover from the Troika. Once you kill the Troika gunner and other Locust. You will head towards the left and take out the remainder of the Locust. Once the area is clear head over the bridge you will follow a path down that is going to lead you to the back of another Troika gunner. After you kill this Locust it will open up the gate leading you to a Theron Guard. After you kill the Theron Guard you will walk down a set of stairs leading you to your father's mansion. Chapter 5: Imaginary Place As you are moving up the stairs to enter the mansion you are going to encounter multiple enemies. Just use all the skills you've accumulated throughout the game using cover and taking out the enemies. Eventually you will gain the upper hand and clear the area. Head through the gate at the top of the stairs. Once you enter the house an emergence hole is going to pop on your left. Seal it and grab some ammo if you want. Conitnue up the stairs, enemies will spawn as you are going up the stairs take them out and continue to the top. Another emergence hole is going to open downstairs so you are going to have to head back downstairs. On your way down a Locust is going to pop out of the doorway that was blocked off before on your left. Kill him and continue through that door. An emergence hole is then going to appear on your right. Seal the hole and a Locust is going to come through a door. Kill the Locust and continue through that door. You are going to keep following the path and will eventually find yourself in a room with a desk and bunch of pillars. Break open the desk and you will be able to pick up a Cog Tag. Keep going and you will reach a checkpoint. After the checkpoint you are going to have to turn the valve and it will allow you to continue to the next area. In the next area you are going to see a couple Locust trying to break down a door, kill the Locust and then break down the door. You are going to continue following the path and you will find yourself in an area with water. Chapter 6: Entrenched The rack that the Y button points out is loose so you can break it down and it will show a door. Jack has to open the door and you have to fight off Locust while hes working on the door. Once you have destroyed all the Locust Jack will have opened the door. Head through the door. Continue forward and you will have to take out a few Wretches. As you continue you will runinot another Wretch and Locust. Once these guys have been killed head up the stairs and back to the room where you found the Cog Tag in the previous chapter. You will have to defeat several Wretches in this room and a door will open. When this door opens take out the Wretch that was behind the door. You are then going to head back to the main entrance of the house, head up the stairs and regroup with your squad. A bunch of enemies are going to be trying to get into the house and you are going to have to take as many as possible out. Some or going to get in but just try to get as many as you can. To the left of Baird and Cole is probably the best vantage point for taking out enemies. Eventually you will have to retreat into the house. Take out the enemies using cover as best you can. Once a Boomer spawns you need to kill it and you will be told that their are Locust in the back of the house. You are going to have to head through the hallways on the main floor. You will take out Locusts in this process. Move up the stairs and they will bring you into a room that overlooks the courtyard. An emergence hole is going to appear. Kill the enemies from above. You can shoot out the propane tanks in the courtyard. Head down the stairs and out into the courtyard. Kill whatever Locust spawn as you exit the house from the back of the courtyard a bunch of enemies and Boomers will be in the area. Your best bet is to just run through the area and pass the Boomers. Once you clear the second archway you have completed the mission. Act: Desperation Chapter 1: Special Delivery In order to catch the train you are going to need to deal with the three snipers on the bridge in front of you. Once they are killed some wretches will appear, and an Emergence hole on the left side of the area. Once you've sealed the Emergence hole, another one will open to your right and back. Use cover and take out your enemies. Once the area is cleared get onto the train and the mission is completed. If you hear the trains whistle blow and still haven't cleared the area you can run onto the train anyways. Chapter 2: Train Wreck Now that your on the train you want to get a torque bow and as much ammo as possible. Don't use it at all. The first enemy you are going to run into is a Theron Guard and a Locust kill them both and take the Theron Guard's Torque Bow. As you continue you are going to encounter a number of Theron Guards and Locust. Be wary of the Locust a bunch of them have Lancers so you need to be extremely carefull meleeing them. You are going to get to a door and kick it in and you will encounter another Berserker. You need to keep avoiding the Berserker and head to the car that has the fuel tank in it. You will access the control panel which detachs the next car. You then stand on the edge of the car and wait for the Berserker to charge you. Dive out of the way and watch the Beserker charge right off the train. Go into the door that just opened to the left of the door will be a Cog Tag. Pick it up and then head into the next car. There are going to be some Locusts to take care of and Reavers will attack through the windows. The easiest thing to do is just avoid the Reavers. In the next car you will need to kill a Theron Guard and Locust. You can then move into the next car and take out the Locust. Then following Anya's information head to the top of the car and man the Troika gun. Now you can take out all the Reavers. Just light them up with the Troika, if you don't have a shot you are going to have to get off the Troika and kill them with another gun. Head back down the ladder and into the next car. You are going run into a bunch of Wretches. You are going to kill them head into the next car and have to deal with more Wretches. Hit the panel to clear the area for you to continue. In the next cart you get to deal with yet more Wretches. Once you have taken care of them and go through the next cart you are just going to have to run through the cart and the Wretches won't be able to get to you. Once you clear this the cart will detach and you have reached a checkpoint. You are going to enter the door and hit the button to clear the path again. all the way in the back off the cart is a Cog Tag. After you have the Cog Tag continue and you'll have finished the mission. Chapter 3: Pale Horse You are now in the final boss fight. You are going to have to defeat General RAAM. General RAAM has a Troika gun with him at all times, so you want to stay out of his line of fire. He also has a swarm of Kryll that surround him. While the Kryll are around him he is invincible. When you hit him with the Torque Bow the Kryll aren't around him leaving him vulnerable. The Kryll will leave him and attack you when he walks into the light so try and stay in the lit areas otherwise the Kryll will kill you, but this is a prime time to attack as well. When ever the Reavers come at you just take cover and the Raven will destroy them with their covering fire. The best way to go about killing General RAAM is to hit him with the Torque Bow leaving him vulnerable. While he is vulnerable fire the Torque Bow at him again. Make sure you hold the button down long enough otherwise the Torque Bow won't be affective. You can also shoot him in the head with a Sniper Rifle at this stage. After you have destroyed General RAAM you have the privilege of watching the ending cinema! well done sc users youve just beat rAAm.
