Hello, and welcome to my guide for this Banjo Kazooie adventure.  I write this
guide as a throwback to my younger days when I played my first 3D game, Banjo
Kazooie on the N64.  It was my call to the gaming world; This guide is my 
tribute back to the gaming community and to you.  Use it how you will.  ^_^

Game Overview   [IntroB1]

Welcome to the game guide for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.  This game is about
a Bear, a Bird, and a Witch.  If you've ever played the original Banjo-Kazooie
and Banjo-Tooie then you'll have a basic understanding of the defining plot 
behind the game; It is not necessary to play the previous games to complete 
this game; however, it does help a player understand the plot in much more 
detail.  The plot for this game takes place ten years after the events of Banjo
-Tooie.  Banjo and Kazooie have become fat, pizza eating slobs.  Grunty's head
digs her way back to Spiral Mountain.  The trio, all handicapped, decide to
battle it out once more, only to be interrupted by the Lord of Games (L.O.G.).
L.O.G. says what he needs to say, some story events happen, and you then find
yourself in Showdown Town.  The rest of the story is yours to find out.

|The game basics|
-----------------

A to jump, Y to board your vehicle, X to interact or attack, and Right Trigger
to interact with objects using your magic wrench.  The magical wrench is given
to you at the beginning of your exploration in Showdown Town.  It can grab just
about anything in the game and toss it around; It can put things in your tray; 
It can attack using X; It's basically an all-purpose tool - like a Swiss army
knife.  

When in your vehicle, you will have a few gauges showing in your screen.  In 
the lower left will be your Fuel Gauge and Ammo Gauge.  In the lower right will
be your Map, and in the upper right will be your Weapon/Gadget buttons; When 
you have special features added to your vehicle, you can choose to have up to
three active ones saved to hotkeys (X, A, and B).  To set these, use the Left,
Right, and Down on your D-Pad to cycle through each of them and choose which
you would like.  When driving, right trigger is acceleration, left trigger is
your brake; That applies to planes and helicopters as well - if you need to 
land, just hold the left trigger.

|Collecting Items|
------------------

Notes

Notes and used for currency and nothing else.  You find notes all over in this
game.  You can use notes to buy Blueprints from Humba, to buy Parts from Humba,
to buy Smuggled Jiggy's from Jolly Dodger, to buy Gym Upgrades, to buy Tower
Combinations, to buy Bottles' Hints, and to Bribe the Police.  Be warned right
now, the number of notes you can find is finite (5,230), while the police can
continuously be bribed.  You can effectively waste all of your notes bribing 
the police (a pointless task) and have Zero notes left to buy parts, Jiggys,
blueprints, or anything.  So long as you purchase no more than 1 Small Bribe, 1
Medium Bribe, and 1 Large Bribe, you will have enough notes to buy literally 
everything in the entire game if you collect all 5,230 notes.  If you do not
bribe the police at all, you will have 9 notes left over.  Here is a list of
where all of the notes in the game are and how to obtain them:

Jiggys

Jiggys are used as a means to open new Act Doors in each world.  The more you
collect, the more doors you can enter.  There are a few ways to earn Jiggys in
the game.  The first are foremost way is to win a challenge inside a gameworld.
Another way is to earn four trophies.  This will be discussed in a moment.  You
can also buy five Jiggys from Jolly Dodger and find five Jiggys from Tampered
Jiggy Dispensers.  The locations of all of these are listed below in their 
respective sections.  Earning all 131 Jiggys grants you a Gamerpic.  Woo!  When
you obtain 13 Jiggys, Piklet sends out the troops to pester you and knock away
Jiggys.  The second batch of police come out when you have 26.  You could bribe
Piklet to keep the police at bay and leave you alone while you transport Jiggys
to Town Central, but it's just as easy to avoid them.  
When you obtain a Jiggy in each world, you must get it out of the world by the
means of a Jiggy Dispenser.  Each one is located in Showdown Town near the Act
Doors of it's respective world.   X to grab the switch and out pops a Jiggy. 
Take it to the Jiggy Container in the very middle of Showdown Town to add it to
your total Jiggy Count. 

Trophies

In each challenge throughout the game, there are three levels of prizes.  The
first is Notes, the second is a Jiggy, and the third is a Trophy.  If you prove
yourself a great gamer and win a trophy, Trophy Thomas adds 1 to your trophy
score.  For every four trophies you earn, Trophy Thomas will add 1` Jiggy to
the Jiggy Dispenser (Yes, I know they are called Jig-O-Vends, shush) which is
next to him.  

Jinjo Tokens

Complete a Jinjo's challenge in any world and you'll get a Jinjo Token.  Each
color gives you his color of Jinjo Token.  If you want to complete the Jinjo
Bingo game, you've got to finish every Jinjo Challenge in the game.  The Jinjos
in Showdown Town do not give you Tokens, they give you notes.

----------------

This is where you can go to build a vehicle of your choice, modify a blueprint,
or just have fun with everything at your disposal.

This is where you go to buy parts and blueprints.  The more Jiggys you have, 
the more she will sell to you.

This fat pig is the chief of police.  Come talk to him if you want to bribe the
police to leave you alone.

Small Bribe -- Cost 1 - Time left alone: 0:45ish
Medium Bribe - Cost 3 - Time left alone: 1:30ish
Large Bribe -- Cost 5 - Time left alone: 3:30ish

During the time you bribed for, you may transport Jiggys without hindrance from
the police.  You can even attack the police vehicles without any counterattack!
How nice.  I advise against bribing the police, though; It is a waste of notes
which could be used to buy other precious items.

|Beginning Gameplay|
-------------------

L.O.G. gives you the Nutty Acres Game Globe for free.  Go on up to his tower
from behind, going up the spiraling path to the top.  Grab the globe and head
back down to put it on the Plinth.  Head into Act 1 and enjoy the game!

1 - How do I change my vehicle in Showdown town?
A - You can't.  L.O.G. can though.  In each world there is one or two acts
that contain a "Grunty Battle".  Defeating her and getting the Jiggy Prize will
upgrade your vehicle with the part she used in that battle.

2 - What are the vehicle upgrades?

---- the roofs of the theatre district!?
A - Search the canal for a tiny outcropping under a grate that leads you behind
a building.  There is a drainpipe there.

---- Uptown?
A - Answer: Either upgrade yourself at Boggy�s gym to be able to do a full 
blown spin attack so you can spin your way over to the bridge and knock it 
down, or use the Spring upgrade on your vehicle to bounce over to the bridge 
and knock it down.  Either way, knock it down.  You could always wait for the 
laser upgrade and go in the front door, but you aren't that patient, are you? 

---- The roofs of Uptown?

A - As you walk into uptown, look around the corner.  There's a drainpipe. If
you can't find it, get out of your vehicle so the large text that says "CLIMB
HERE" actually appears. ;)

4 - Is there anything missable in this game?
A - Yes, just one thing.  "Burn The Witch", the achievement.  Just blast Grunty
with a laser as soon as you get it.  You must blast her in Showdown Town before
she moves to Spiral Mountain (i.e. before you enter Spiral Mountain).

Jinjo Bingo     [Shwtwn3]

First of all, this isn't like normal Bingo, this game is actually simpler. The
way you earn the playing pieces is by beating the Jinjo Challenges in the 
various levels of the game (all of which are listed in the walkthrough below).
Each Jinjo you win against will offer you a piece corresponding to his or her 
color.  You can then put that piece on the gameboard on a square matching that
color.  Completing every Jinjo Challenge in the game will give you enough Chips
to fill in the entire board.

Klungo's Arcade [Shwtwn5]

This is a fun little old-school game that Klungo made for you to play.  The 
rules are simple enough.  Press A to jump.  Sometimes during the game, it will
crash.  This is a throwback to oldschool gamecrashes; Do not worry about it if
it doesn't amuse you.
More levels become available as you earn more Jiggys; Klungo will let you know
when they are ready.
To win, just make it to the Goal Flag.  Typically you will just need to jump
over obstacles to get to the end.  Sometimes you need to time your jumps very
carefully.  You can actually take almost a whole step off of a ledge before you
jump and still not fall.  You can also barely graze enemies and not get killed.
Remember to test the boundaries of your capabilities to beat this game with 
ease and no stress.  There are a few instances where you think you need to 
jump, but really just need to fall to the next platform.  On the last level, 
you only get one jump; As soon as you see "it", jump.

Tampered Jiggys [Shwtwn6]

Tampered Jiggys are "free" Jiggys.  All you need to do is find the machines
which give the Jiggy, activate the switch, and you get a free Jiggy.

The locations are as follows:

1 - Underneath the lighthouse.  The tunnel is hidden well.
2 - Atop the very peak of L.O.G.'s tower.  Keep climbing.
3 - Underwater beneath Klungo's Arcade.
4 - On the side of Uptown; You must climb to the roof via Drainpipe, walk to 
    the final roof, and climb down another drainpipe.
5 - In a tunnel you get to via a water tunnel behind L.O.G.'s factory.  Once 
    you have the Scuba Seat, head into the tunnel, look for a path off to the
    right;  You'll see a Stop'n'Swop egg, look to the right for a hidden tunnel
    barely visible.  Go up it to find the final Jiggy.

How to win: Build a race car! There are two blueprints that Humba sells which
are perfect for this race.  The Humba Racer and the Humba Bike.  You can build
your own if you'd like, just make sure to add more engines and fuel.  This race
is best 2 out of 3.  If you loose the second race, you can still get the Jiggy
on the third race, but if you want the trophy, you need to win the first two
races.  The first course is short and easy, the second is longer but still easy
enough, while the third race is the same as the second but with Thomas going a
bit faster and driving more aggressively.

How to win: This shouldn't be too difficult even with the most basic vehicles
that you have available.  Grab a bomb, and either swing your wrench so it goes
rolling over to the water, or load it on a Tray and take it there yourself. 
You need to be fast to get the trophy, not so much to get the Jiggy.  If you
can't manage the trophy right away, come back later when you have more engines;
Attach them to your fastest vehicle and away you go!

How to win: Once the Jinjo boards, step on the gas.  Get over one of the two
bridges close to you, then make a straight shot towards the coconut piles. This

yourself over.

How to win: This is a very simple race around a very small track.  Humba's Bike

your vehicle.

Where to find: On the beach.
How to win: You need to be able to "capture" the Jinjo within your vehicle.  
The best way to do this is to build something with a strong engine, heavy parts

enclose him.  Example is as follows (X = Square Cube, S = Seat):

How to win: The easiest way is to mount your vehicle with any weapons, and just
shoot as soon as the match starts.  You'll hit her always right away and win
the match in a few seconds.  If that doesn't work, and you don't want to make
a vehicle, go up north from Grunty's start location and you'll find a hidden
vehicle under a tree that you can use to ram her.  If neither of these methods
are to your liking, experiment a bit with your vehicles and see what you can
come up with.

How to win: You might want to wait a while to tackle this one, you'll need some
speed, a lot of firepower, and a quick trigger with good aim.  Think first 
person shooter with a joystick.  Yeah.  You aren't pressed for time though, so
don't even worry about how long the run takes.  Focus on protection of Mr. Fit.
Most of the time the Gruntbots only appear when Mr. Fit stops, but there are 
times when they appear even while he is running.  Keep a close eye and memorize
where they spawn and attack.  There's less than 10 groups, so once you get a 
good pattern going, this Jiggy doesn't take too long to earn.  If you want the
trophy, you need an even quicker trigger and a sharp eye with awesome reaction
time.  This trophy is hard; Fret not if it's too difficult for you.  Come back
later with better weapons and engines for an easier time if this proves too 
hard for you right now.

How to win: First of all, jump out and grab the box that contains a medium 
engine.  Adding this to your vehicle makes you faster.  Then take out the south
wall to shave off many needed seconds from each trip.  After that, so start 
running over nuts to pick them up.  Get 7 nuts each trip, and you will get the
14 nuts in just two trips.  Don't run over rocks, they will take up too much
space!

How to win: It's time to learn to fly!  Before you start, if you want the 
trophy that is, drive up to bottles, hop out, and break open that box for an
extra engine and extra speed.  Lets get going!  Your first task is to go high.
Easy.  Next, you must fly through four checkpoints.  This teaches you to U-turn
pretty well.  Third task is to do a loop.  Go up high, then dive straight down,
as soon as you have speed, keep your engine going and pull straight back on the
joystick and keep it steady; Even if the camera moves, keep the joystick back
or else you'll loose the inertia required.  After the loop, you need must land.
Left trigger to brake on the cliff, then hop out and pop open the boxes for 
ammo and guns.  Take off and shoot the targets! Win this fast for a Jiggy.  
There's no better way to win this one than with practice.

How to win: A note first, be careful about getting in front of the other racer;
Little kitty loves to use a Freezeezy on you.  That is bad.  You'll need a 
fairly decent car for this challenge.  I recommend the Humba Racer 3.  2 will
work fine if you add a few engines and some fuel.  Watch out for gruntbots
along the way, they can really mess you up.  After the first bridge, do not go
around Mumbo's Farm, go straight up through it to save 5-10 seconds.  When you
get into the volcano, do not follow the path around to the right, break through
the boxes and go left to save another 5 seconds.  Watch out for the purple 
spikies and gun it once you hit the beach.  If you're careful enough and fast
enough, this trophy is yours.

Where to find: At the base of the volcano.
How to win: Not too hard, just get Jinjo to the top of the volcano.  At the 
first turn, go left.  In both tunnels, before you enter, look into them and 
shoot the enemies.  Right before you exit the 2nd tunnel, stop and wait for the
gruntbots to attack.  Then rush Jinjo to the top.  Killing four enemies isn't
that hard, right?

Where to find: On the small cliff above Trophy Thomas.
How to win: You'll need a bit of power for this one.  Try to add a lot of 
engines and a pusher on the front of your vehicle (wall cluster of blocks).  
As fast as you can, push Jinjo towards the upper slope of the beach.  With 
enough force and angle, you can get him to slide down a good 70 extra feet.  
If all else fails, put a spring on the front of your car and spring him out to
N.N.L. (neverneverland)

middle, to small.  You need at least 2,500 to get the trophy.  You need to drop
some serious balls to win this one.

How to win: You only have to kill 16 enemy boats, so build a boat with a gun 
and lots of ammo and hop to it.  The boats all die fairly quickly, so as long
as you've built a well moving boat, you'll do fine.  But do be sure that your 
"boat" is capable of land travel so you can jump the reef into the ocean and
kill the rest of the boats.  There are only 10 in your starting location, and 
you need 6 more.

How to win: You have to get the egg into the volcano to boil it and the back to
Klungo without damaging the egg to the point of cracking.  Trays and the Sticky

Breath" and just toast the egg right there in front of Klungo for a very very
easy trophy.  :)

How to win: This one is crazy fun.  You'll need some serious weapons and ammo
to do this job, as well as a well flying machine.  I suggest many Large Engines
and many homing weapons such as Torpediles and Clockworks.  Lasers work great 
as well.  You need to make several slow passes by Patch to notice all 12 of his
patches.  Pop them all to win.  This is more about skill than vehicles.  You
can beat this with one Egg Gun if you'd like, but the homing weapons make this
10 times easier.  Just learn his patch spots and start making passes until you
are good enough to get them all in trophy time.

How to win: You can choose any vehicle you want, and you need a distance of at
least 1,500.  The catch? You can't control anything but your steering!  You 
have to coast the entire race.  Get a medium-weight vehicle with evenly 
distributed parts.  Coast down to the airstrip and around it, down the path to
the base and out on to the beach.  Don't bump anything and if you start slowing

How to win: This race is about serious Air Speed.  Your opponents have Jets,

play dirty and will shoot you out of the sky, so if you can't outrun them fast,
take a break and go collect some better engines/jets, and come back later.  The
course is easy to follow, so once you have speed on your side, it's just the
chore of going from one checkpoint to the next.

How to win: You're in a high speed race in a narrow corridor.  Build a narrow
racecar with some fast Jets.  Stay to the side of the riverbed if you can, but
be careful of the bridges.  You'll have to make a couple of rounds up and down
the same course, so when you turn around, if you're in the lead, expect some 
head on encounters with your opponents.  Be nimble, be quick, and you'll come
out first.

How to win: Fairly simple event.  You have to go to mumbo and then to the dock,
carrying a bunch of nuts on a tray.  There are 3 obstacles.  The Gruntbots, the
riverbed canal, and the harsh steering.  Keep a straight path and go straight
for your objectives and you'll do fine.  Since this is a L.O.G. choice event, 
all you can do is give it your best, go really fast, and not turn too hard. :)

How to win: All you need is a really really fast boat.  The Humba Boat 4 works
fabulous for this race.  Large Propellers on the back of your boat work fine
with strong engines if nothing else, but try for Jets.  You know you want that
rocket on the back of your boat.  The course is a little jagged, so slow down
after each checkpoint and look where the next one is.  Some of them are around
a complete U-turn.  Once you have speed, this race is cake.  Weapons are 
suggested to keep opponents at bay.

Where to find: Atop the volcano.
How to win: Pain in the butt! This one will give you a headache.  Front-Spring
racers/planes and Stickyball-copters will work, with luck, and the right angle;
Let me stress; It takes a lot of luck to get 500 with those.  Smashing into the
Jinjo with a crazy-fast plane with multiple Jets will work if you hit him far 
enough into the hilly area of Nutty Acres.  The Humba Slam Dunk works great for
this one if you line it up right on the edge and fire him straight up; The 
bounce that you get from each hit on the volcano will add up a lot of distance
points before Jinjo even hits the bottom of the volcano.  Try to aim for the 
Hilly area by the coconut piles for extra rolling at the bottom.  Springs are
your friend in the hurl; 500 is no easy feat.

How to win: You're going to need a Taxi.  If you don't have any passenger seats
in your inventory, you'll need to go find or buy some.  Humba has a Taxi which
is perfect for this game, if you add wings or propellers to make it fly.  If 
you don't have that blueprint, make a flying machine with a few passenger seats
and some strong engines.  There are only 2 workers, so with 2 passenger seats,
you should bag this trophy pretty quick.  If you can only win the Jiggy, come
back later with stronger engines, or more or them.  Once you get the workers in
the seats, return to the boss pig to save them and earn your prizes.

confident, start the race.  You need to get ahead of the others fairly early;
After that, it's easy game.  This is L.O.G.'s choice of vehicle, so the game
makes it pretty easy for you to get the trophy.  Best piece of advise is to 
learn when to drive on the rotating discs as they can shove you away from the 
checkpoints with easy.

chopper sink down like a weight; Use it when you're above a switch.  Once you

your vehicle provided for you, so just know where the ribbon cable paths are,
and you'll do fine.  You have Springs added to it in case you get stuck or just

driving.  The answer? Make a small, fast car with a vacuum on it and a tray.
Drive down to the bugs, kill the gruntbot, turn on the Bug Zapper, hop back in
the vehicle, suck them up, and drive through the Bug Zapper.

There are 3 enemy balls that you have to kill you get an item from each.  Once

time and assemble them.  Once they are 1 item, grab it and take it to the 
machine to win.  Getting the trophy is easy once you know the trick, just be
fast about the killing and assembling.

good secondary weapon.  Stock up on ammo, and get going.  If you only want the
Jiggy, you can actually beat up the little robots with your wrench and no 
vehicle, but if you want the trophy you will need to deal with them faster. 
There are 2 small ammos in a box next to Captain Blubber when you start, so be
sure to grab those to keep your guns blazin' hot.   This one takes a bit of
patience to get used to fighting, but becomes easier as you try more often.
Don't let up on your firing trigger, and kill those Gruntbots!

of your vehicle, and haul it up the path as fast as  you can.  Slow down on the
bumps to avoid George flying over the edge.  Turn slightly before each actual

How to win:  You have a preselected vehicle, so all you need to worry about is

How to win:  If you're just going for the Jiggy, go and pick up two of the 
employees, return them, then go for the final one.  It's very easy to complete
the Jiggy challenge.  If you're going for the trophy, you're going to need to
try a few times.  The best way to get it is to head up the path and grab the
Captain Blubber first, keep going up and grab Boggy.  Hope out of your vehicle
and use your wrench to pick up the extra taxi cart laying up there to your 
vehicle.  Once you have that extra third seat, drive to the opposite path from
the scarf over down to the tree.  Drive off to get to the bottom floor, then
pick up anyone who fell out.  Hurry over to Mumbo, then back to Bottles to 
finish up.  The steering on this challenge is horrible, so don't feel bad if
it takes you a few tries to get it right.  Just remember that speed, while good
sometimes, is not worth loosing control of your vehicle.  Let up on the gas
when you're going around corners or over hills and slopes.

How to win: You only need to get 3 cameras turned on.  Getting the Jiggy isn't
too hard, just get a flying machine and start working your way around the area.
If you want the trophy, you'll just need to be really quick.  There three 
cameras without enemies to hamper your time are: 1) On the nest, 2) On the 
Tunnel, and 3) On the snowman.  Make a fast plane or chopper and rush to those
three to win this challenge.

How to win: It's a water race around the pond! The best early vehicle to use is
the Humba Boat 2, but you'll need to add some engine power to get it to finish
in first place, 1 extra medium engine will do the trick.  You can easily win 
the trophy with this vehicle, just learn track and try not to hit land.  Keep 
your foot on the gas and go!  Cut corners when you can, and take some corners
wide if you see debris.

How to win: The Humba Racer 2 with an added Medium Engine and High Grip Wheels

Let up on the gas going down the hills to prevent spinouts.

How to win: All you need to do is knock Grunty out of her seat.  Constant and
solid damage is the key.  The Freezeezy can stop her from moving while you 
blast away with the Egg Turret or Grenade Turret;  Eggs guns are fine if you 
have nothing else.  Make sure you have lots of ammo packs on your vehicle.  
There's an extra weapon and ammo next to one of the stone pillars that you can
attach to your vehicle for extra Umph if you need it, as well.  The way I did
it fast was to use a Grenade Turret, move the vehicle over to the side, jump in
to the turret, and start wailing on her from a distance.  One direct hit in the
right spot will give you the trophy.
Reward: Springs added to your Showdown Town trolley.

around corners so you don't tip over.

of the Gruntbots on the bridge.  Equip weapons if you have to.

How to win: You have a vehicle chosen for you on a course with crap traction.
Nice.  This one requires grace.  Learn how your turns react to the ice.  You
have an egg gun at your disposal; Use it.  Klungo is your only opponent, so 
it's not "too" hard.  You really need to learn the physicals of ice traction
for this track though.  Spend some time purposely spinning out; See how it 
feels.  Once you get the hang of it, you can skid your way into almost every
checkpoint.  If you're feeling up to it, you can modify the vehicle by hopping
out and pressing B during the race and make something smaller with more 
traction, but it's still possible with the L.O.G. vehicle.

How to win: This one is a pain in the ass.  There are a series of events you
must complete to win.  Mumbo will at least walk you through them.  Here they 
are, in order: 1 - Make skid marks on the soccer field.  2 - Do a jump in the
air and make a forward flip or backflip.  3 - Jump through checkpoints. 4 - 
In a jump, do a sideflip.  5 - Go through checkpoints. 6 - Spring Jump from the
top of the hill on the soccer field down to the ice.  If you don't time the 
jump well, he won't count it.  There's no real advise except keep practicing. 
This one requires skill.

How to win: This one is hard.  The best way to do it is to put either Springs 
or a Boot-In-The-Box on the front of your vehicle racer and just plow into the
sheep and spring it.  First shot should knock it into the ice, second towards
loggo, and third into loggo.  Four or Five shots only gets you a Jiggy.  This
one will take you a few tries.

How to win: Well, on your first visit here, you're not likely to have the power
to get the trophy, so let focus on the Jiggy.  Grab the Humba Racer 2, put 2
springs below it, some balloons on it, and go down the ramp.  As soon as the 
ramp evens out, inflate your balloons, then at the last moment, use your spring
jump to push up a little higher.  The speed of the race car, with the lift of
the balloons, and the jump of the spring should be enough to get you a jiggy.
If you want the cheap way to do it, make a vehicle with nothing but a Seat and
a Spring under it.  Carry the spring to the edge of the ramp, lay it on it's 
side, aim, get it, and shoot.  You'll not only get the trophy, but also a few
achievements like "Minimalist" and "Whoa Nelly!".  I call it the Bear Spring.
If you want to do it the normal way, come back later with Large Engines and
Wings and watch your Racer soar.

How to win: Make a larger, stronger version of the Humba Pusher.  The L.O.G. 
Pusher is a great starting blueprint.  Make it wider and add more engines and

let them fall so you don't end up with a lot behind you.  Scoop them up and off
the edge for the win!

into the dominos (must be a wide pusher).  Exploding in the middle of the pile
seems to work best for me.

How to win: Build for speed.  Humba Racer 3 with added engines will leave your
competition smelling vapors, just be sure to add fuel.  If you don't have the

about is avoiding the obstacles; Many can send you flying into the middle area,
and that isn't acceptable in this race.

How to win: Move your Delivery Truck in front of the vending machine and drop
6 or so Pizzas; Don't waste time, every second counts in this one.  Once you're
loaded up, drive out and head straight for the customer in the middle of the 
Jiggoseum.  Right as you drive by, fold out your wings and take to the air,
and go for either of the customers in the stands.  From there, head to the 
customer atop the hill, then back down to the other stand-customer.  You need
to really work on your flying coordination for this one, and since you have
your vehicle chosen for you, that's all you have to worry about.

angles.  350 is a long ways.  Pushers will work, but only with enough engine
power.  Try putting springs on the side of your vehicle if all else fails; Use
the springs to launch the Jinjo far away.

How to win: You're supposed to build a race car with a spring on the bottom to
jump over walls; Instead, build a plane to fly over them while avoiding all 
obstacles, walls, and racers.  Grab one of Humba's Planes and add more engines
and fuel to them and this race is cake.  If you want a jumping car though, 
which I admit can be fun, make sure to put bumpers on the front of it to help
you not take damage in the event of head-wall-smacks.

Player's Choice
How to win: Humba has a special vehicle built just for this Jiggy.  The Humba
Slam Dunk.  Modify it with some propellers and you're good to go.  Once the 
game starts, you have to dunk 5 basketballs for the trophy.  The first two you
can just set inside the Dunk-mobile and shoot them up with the spring.  For the
next three, you have to fly up and dunk them.  If your propeller's aren't 
strong enough, either add more, or add more engines.  Pop in the ball, and up
you go! Another, albeit harder way, is to make a vehicle that can latch onto 
the hoop and weight it down so you can just throw the Jiggy's into it by hand.
You can get a lot higher score this way, but it's not easy.  I warned you!

easy.

How to win: You have to stop Grunty from destroying the nine balls in whatever
way you feel best about.  The Cargo Copter with an added Freezeezy and another
engine for speed works great for me.  This way, you can freeze Grunty if she's
getting too close; You can pick up Grunty whenever you want to carry her away
from the balls; You can pick up the balls and carry them away from grunt; You
can basically win all nine rounds of this challenge with that vehicle.  You
could always try destroying her vehicle, but it respawns each round, so it's 
not really worth the time.  Your screen will mark the locations of both Grunty
and the balls, so if all else fails, you can head straight for the ball and
whisk it away before she even gets there.

How to win: You've got a torch that you have to get up onto the Jiggosuems 
rafters.  Solution? Get wheels.  They're in a box; Follow the targets.  Hold
the right bumper on your controller once you run over the boxes to add wheels
to your vehicle, then haul-butt to the opposite end and up the ramps.  Head

you "jump", you loose control of your vehicle.  If you have a plane though, 
you can at least control the arch of your descent.  The better the plane you 
have, the further you can go.  Try to use one with Jet; This game of Darts is
cake if you have one.  300 points for the trophy.  Aim for the 75 back there.

How to win: It's a simple race in a L.O.G. vehicle around the entire area.  The
catch?  Left is right, and right is left.  Get used to the reverse steering.  
Every domino you knock over adds 2 seconds to your time.  Not good!  Avoid 
dominos and hurry to the goal.  By 1 minute you should be atop the Jiggosuem's
first slope.  By 2 minutes you should be up the second slope.  By 3 minutes you
should be crossing the finish line.  Aim for those goals.  The last stretch is 
just crazy.  Drive slow and avoid the dominos.  Once you learn the layout, it
does get easier.  Not easy, just easier.

How to win: The seed has a quickly degenerating lifespan, and so does your time
to get the trophy.  To restore the seed's life, simply set it in water.  There 
are only 2 sets of water you need to do if you're quick enough; One below the 
starting point at the base of the mushrooms, and one to the Northwest of where
you enter the main chamber on your way to the finish.  Once you rehydrate the
seed each time, quickly take it to the next location.  Stickyball-copters work
fine, but I found it easier with a light flying trolley.

when you're pushing uphill.

How to win: This is a Land and Air race.  I used the Humba Racer 4 with Foldy
Wings so the vehicle will transform from Land to Air at will.  Add a Large or 
Super engine to be on the safe side.  This race can really get hectic, as the
vines and flowers will be getting your way the entire time.  Spend the first 
couple of runs just learning where each of the checkpoints are and where to
switch from Land to Air, and when to switch back to Land again.  The course is
actually fairly short; It is under 2 minutes, so as long as you use a good
vehicle like the one I suggested, and you know the checkpoints, this race is
cake.

How to win: You need to get 10 Floatberries wet.  Dropping them into the water
below works great, as does using a Squirter on a vehicle.  The fastest way to
do it is with a light flying vehicle.  See that big red button below the 
Spigot? If you push it, water will shower down on the middle seven seeds.  The
other three you can just fly over to and chuck them down with your wrench.

How to win: Many consider this Jiggy Challenge to be one of the hardest in the
game. B-066Y needs help proving himself as an alien by having you blast a bunch
of colored circles out of the sky.  If you've ever played Banjo-Tooie, you will
recognize this challenge.  You don't control the steering, you just aim and 
shoot.  Hold down A as you have unlimited ammo.  Your goal is to shoot as many
targets as you can before you get to the end of the course.  Red targets are
worth 1 point, green are worth 2, and blue are worth 3.  Put a priority on the
green and blue spheres whenever possible.  Your shots travel far, so as soon as
you see the targets, start shooting.   Many times you will get a second pass 
around the chambers allowing you to get any targets that you missed, but they
usually are pretty far back, so practice your aim.  Take note that the blue
targets like being on the top of each arch; When you are underwater, aim for 
the top and middle targets of the arch; Even though you can't make out the 
colors well, you'll be scoring blues and greens.  Once you  break out of the 
Terrarium into space, that is your chance to score massive points.  Don't be in
a rush to hit everything.  Focus in on the targets that you want to hit and go
for those.  One bit of advise that will really help you: Spend the first two
runs just watching the targets, not shooting.  This will help you map out the
course and target locations in your mind without any stress of missing any of
them.  Once you are ready to tackle the Jiggy and the trophy, hold down that A
button and start honing your aiming skills.  Practice will eventually make
perfect in this challenge; Do not expect to win the first few tries.  This one
is all about learning to aim well.

How to win: Just push those 12 piles of junk into the yellow beams in front of
you.  Easy you say? No.. There are 2 Gruntbots that blow air like mad.  The
fastest way to win is to build a pusher-vehicle capable of pushing all 12 piles
at the same time, and wide enough to grab them all.  Think Humba-Pusher, but 
much wider with Jets behind it.  Drive forward until the Gruntbots start their
blowing, hop out and go kill them, then get back in your vehicle and push the
junk out into space.  This junk is a bit heavy, so pack a whollup of engines to
ensure you get the trophy.

How to win: You have a heavy vehicle with a Jet to move left, right, forwards,
and backwards, you have balloons to raise you up and down, and you have Spikes
to ram into the Germs and pop them.  You also have an egg gun with very limited
ammo.  You must rely on the balloons for height and drops.  There is one large
Germ to start with, then it splits into 2 medium germs, and each of those split
into 2 small germs, for a total of 7 Germs you must kill.  Since you only have
limited ammo, I recommend popping the Large and Medium germs with your Spikes,
then going after the Small germs with your guns as they are much harder to aim
and smack in to with your vehicle.  You'll need to get use to controlling the
vehicle with balloons, so get practicing!

How to win: Use the Humba Taxi 4 with added Large Engines and a Scuba Seat. You
have 4 passengers to take to four places.  They are 1- On the floor of the main
chamber, 2 - On the base of the 5 Flower Room, 3 - Underwater beneath the main
chamber, 4 - Up the spiraling vine in the main chamber.  That order is also the
order I recommend taking them in.  Pick up your passengers, head into the main
room, drop off #1, Head into the 5 Flower Room, drop off #2, Sink down into the
water there and drive into the tunnel, drop off #3, turn left and emerge out of
the main chamber and head up the vine to drop off #4.  Time is of the upmost
importance, so learn the route that works best for you and gun it.

that you have.  Clockworks and Torpediles work great as they can home in on 
the Gruntbots.  Egg guns work great as they fire fast.

them to the airlock.  Using a Pusher is another option, just add spikes to stun
them inside of it.

There are four areas with Mud Monsters, only 3 of which you need to clear to

Monsters out of the water.  Make sure they are far enough away that they do not
fall back in.

How to win: This is one of the hardest races in the game, so be warned.  This
race takes place on Land, Water, and Air.  Equip the Humba Racer 4 with Foldy 
Wings and Floaters, along with more engines for more power.  Make sure to add
a Super or Large fuel just in case.  As with any race, learn the course first
before you try to win it.  Learn where the checkpoints are; Learn where your
opponent flies; Learn when to switch from Land to Air to Water or whichever
vehicle type you need to reach the next checkpoint.  Be careful; The foldy 
wings will not open if something is blocking them.  Your opponent isn't really
the challenge in this race, the layout of the level and checkpoints are.  Learn
them well to earn to trophy.

How to win: You have a Gruntbot killing vehicle with 6 torpediles, and 10 Bots
to kill.  If you want more ammo, look on the hillside to the left of the large
breakable glass hall-door.  You can kill them by ramming them very hard if you
are out of ammo.  One hit kills; There are also a few in a secret chamber up 
the hill to the right of the door.  This one shouldn't take more than a couple
of tries to master.

you just came from.  Enter the left one to find the key and then return to
Jinjo.

Flower Room easily.  Gun it at the end to make the jump into the platform.

How to win:  First of all, this challenge is six challenges all in one.  You 
either win all six prizes or none.  [60 Notes for 3rd place, 6 Jiggys for 2nd
place, and 6 Trophies for 1st place.] Let's go over the six events before you
get started to give you an idea of what to expect.

Event 1: Stay inside a moving object.

Stick a Large Tray as your vehicle's center, add your strongest engines under
it with fuel to supplement.  Jets work fabulous in the challenge.  Equip a 
Sticky Ball to the front of your vehicle if you so choose.  Put Folding Wings 
on the sides to allow flight.  Add your strongest weapons to the front of your
vehicle with your largest ammo to supplement.  Put floaters around the edges of
the Large Tray.  If you place all of these under and behind your vehicle, you
should have enough power and 'umph' to get through this challenge with the 
trophy.  Lets go over each event now with more detail:

Event 1: There is a large transparent crown which moves around the level.  You
         must stay inside of it for only 12 seconds.  This challenge is fairly
         easy, just follow the crown and keep your right trigger finger steady.
Event 2: Below Grunty's Head-Statue lays a green jewel; Her eyeball.  You must
         take it to the dumpster by Banjo's house.  Fly over to it, load it 
         into your large tray, and fly over to the dumpster.
Event 3: A race around spiral mountain.  Don't worry, you're the only racer, 
         but you need to be quick about it.  This challenge takes place in all
         three areas; Land, Water, and Air.  This is why you have Floaters and
         Wings.  You'll be making a few laps around the area, so learn the 
         checkpoint locations and when to switch from land to air.
Event 4: Fly through the air and target the floating targets.  Blast them.  If
         you have Torpediles or Clockworks, they will home in on them, making
         this challenge go by fast.
Event 5: There are three tiny honeycombs that LOG wants for breakfast.  Go load
         them into your tray and fly up to LOG.  Watch out for the Gruntbots.
Event 6: Head over to the Veggies and push them out of the small ring.  I find
         this one easier by hopping out of your vehicle and using your wrench 
         to throw them out.  The Gruntbots here will try to push them back in,
         but you can get them all out fast enough to not worry.

Another aspect to this six-course-challenge is the Trivia between each set of
challenges.  After each event (except the last) you will be given a set of four
question.  Each correct answer shaves five seconds off of your time, allowing
you an easier time getting the trophy.  Here is a list of all of the questions

Player's Choice
How to win: This is it, the final showdown with Grunt.  She has five vehicles
which you have to destroy with your one.  Her five vehicles are as follows:

1 - Monster Truck  - Land  - Fast
2 - Pirate Galleon - Water - Slow
3 - Stealth Attack - Land  - Invisible
4 - Fortress       - Land  - Armored
5 - Broomstick     - Air   - Fast

You only need a land and air vehicle; The Pirate Galleon can be (and is easier 
to be) taken out from shore.  Equip Lasers and Torpediles.  Lasers can end each
battle in under 15 seconds if you hit her straight on; No joke.  Torpediles do
massive damage and home in on her.  This combination, along with the auto-fire
Clockworks make Grunty's life a bit more crazy.  If you want a cheap way to 
win, use a Sticky Ball.  Lift each of the vehicles and you will win in a few 
seconds flat.  Make sure you have a lot of engine power, fuel, and ammo to keep
going in this fight.  The monster truck is just fast, but your weapons will 
tear through it if you have her in sight.  The galleon can be taken down from
shore, just sit there and shoot her.  The stealth attack isn't 100% invisible,
you can still see an outline of her vehicle, as well as any missiles she shoots
from it, giving away her position.  The fortress can be taken down in 3 seconds
with the laser (a few more seconds with torpediles).  The broomstick is a fast
air battle; Do not get in front of Grunty as she has lasers on that stick.  Get
behind her, lock on, and fire away.  If you can Sticky Ball her, you win, but
that takes some serious skill and timing.  All in all, this battle can be won
fairly fast so long as you have a large arsenal of weapons, engines, fuel, and
ammo.  And yes, you can go back and play the game after you defeat her. ;)

Trolley Surfing - A simple yet easy glitch method to get a lot of things very
early.  Simply put an object (a crate is easiest) into your trolley, stand on
the object, then grab your trolley with your wrench and you will, in essence, 
fly.  Learn to control it and you can go anywhere in Showdown Town. (Almost)

L.O.G. Vehicle Modification - That's right, you can modify your L.O.G. choice
vehicles.  Simple jump out and press B to start editing them.  You can only use
the parts provided in the original vehicle, but trimming down on weight never
hurt anyone!

Swimming Minjo - The Minjo on the docks like to fall in the water and never 
resurface.  He tries with all his might, but only respawns on the ocean floor.
If you're missing a Minjo, dive down by the docks and check for him.

The Banjoland Bear Speakers - These speakers give you an insight into the 
Banjo-Kazooie universe; Here is a list of every one of them (save # 14).

   - The golden goliath was brought to life by a little Mumbo Magic in 
     Banjo-Tooie's first world, Mayahem Temple.  The Goliath had an almighty
     kick, great for opening up blocked-off areas.

02 - Banjo-Kazooie Statue
   - This statue is a tribute to the greatest ever videogame duo (where one 
     character lives in the other's backpack), Banjo the honey bear and Kazooie
     the breegull.

   - This despotic dizzy totem god provided some good old-fashioned boss 
     action, shooting game style.  He lived in his really sacred chamber in 
     Mayahem Temple, a level with lots of temples.

04 - Stonehenge
   -  Brought here from Mumbo's Mountain, Banjo-Kazooie's first ever challenge
      level.  L.O.G. has needed to enlarge it slightly and apply new textures
      to make it look a little less last-last-gen.

05 - Glitter Gulch Mine
   - Banjo-Tooie's second world, originally planned for the first game.  Home 
     to Canary Mary, whose race controls became button-based when all the 
     analog stick rotation began to scorch palms.

06 - Snowman
   - This frosty giant hails from Freezeezy Peak, Banjo-Kazooie's obligatory
     ice world.  Beak Bombing his buttons earned the player a Jiggy that he'd
     been hiding, er, somewhere about his person.

07 - U.F.O.
   - The U.F.O. carried a family of aliens, after crashing in Jolly Roger's 
     Lagoon.  The U.F.O. reappeared in Hailfire Peaks as L.O.G. reused all the
     best artwork to get Banjo-Tooie out on time.

08 - Cactus O' Strength
   - The Cactus O' Strength was a Jiggy-awarding Witchyworld feature in 
     Banjo-Tooie, rebuilt here by L.O.G. to challenge players to ring the bell
     again.  What an achievement that would be...

09 - Tanktup
   - Banjo and Kazooie could enter Tanktup in Bubblegloop Swamp once they'd 
     warmed his feet and he'd barfed up a Jiggy. This is just a wooden effigy,
     as Tanktup's whereabouts are currently unknown.

10 - Boggy's Igloo
   - Brought here from Hailfire Peaks, its lost some stability and the T.V. 
     has been stolen.  Banjo-Tooie's pawn shop owner Pawno sold a similar model
     soon after Kazooie was spotted in Jolly's Bar...

11 - Rusty Bucket
   - This ship was the basis for an entire Banjo-Kazooie level, Rusty Bucket
     Bay.  The Jiggy in its bowels was one of the most difficult in the game,
     far too challenging for today's soft gamers!

12 - Salty Hippo
   - Captain Blubber's pride and Joy, the Salty Hippo first appeared in 
     Banjo-Kazooie's Treasure Trove Cove.  It has never been seen in good 
     working order, possibly due to its useless hippo captain.

13 - Cloud Cuckooland
   - Cloud Cuckooland was the last challenge world in Banjo-Tooie.  It took 
     L.O.G. a lot of effort to get running smoothly due to its large, open 
     nature, and was where Banjo and Kazooie met Mr. Fit.

14 - Terry's Nest
   - [Lost during pixel integration, this speaker never made it into the game]
   - [^ I'm being serious, this speaker doesn't exsist. ~Sakura]

15 - Clanker
   - Clanker was the star of his very own level, Clanker's Cavern in 
     Banjo-Kazooie.  Getting him here in one piece was difficult, but the many
     uses of his ramp-shaped head made it all worthwhile.

16 - Pyramid
   - This pyramid was torn out of Gobi's Valley in Banjo-Kazooie, much to the
     chagrin of its owner, King Sandybutt.  L.O.G. decided on bringing this 
     piece back to exploit its handy sloping sides.

17 - Loggo
   - In Mad Monster Mansion, Banjo couldn't fit down Loggo until he became a 
     pumpkin.  In Grunty Industries, Kazooie used her beak to unblock him. Now
     Loggo's charms are replicated here in full size.

18 - Cheato
   - Hapless page-shedding spellbok, mistreated minion of Grunty and veteran 
     of the Banjo-Kazooie series.  Returning Cheato's pages tended to earn 
     unlockable items or, surprisingly, cheat codes.

19 - Mad Monster Mansion
   - Spine-Tingling area of Banjo-Kazooie where our heroes met Loggo, a dozing

20 - Rubbish Bin
   - Also known as the Trash Can, home to a discarded can of beans named Guffo
