Enter Tournament mode and select singles matches and beat the tournament without the computer winning a game and you will battle Duke or King depending on your ranking. When you have defeated them the player becomes unlocked.
Unlock Duke:
When you have a flawless C ranking or better defeat him in Tournament mode.
Unlock King:
When you have a flawless D ranking or worse defeat him in Tournament mode.
